The Ashwood in Dudley

Held our son’s 21st Birthday Party at the Ashwood today. Everyone had a great time. Pub is much better following its refurbishment this year. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the drinks were reasonable priced. What more could you want? 👍🏻 Shout out to the DJ Ron who was very accommodating to my wife and sons music requests 😂

Such a nice place after the refurbishment. Friendly, welcoming staff and Sandra is working so hard to make this pub an asset to the local community. Large function room which is available for a host of events.

The Northern Soul, Funk and Motown night was absolutely brilliant! Fabulous dancers showed up and the music was raging hot 🔥 I think the pub has recently been taken over and they're offering lots of events through the month. I'd definitely recommend this night, the dance floor is big and the seating is around the outside on comfy banquettes - bar staff ladies are so welcoming and very quick to get drinks.

Not too bad, just a local boozer, pity it's closing soon. Hopefully for a refurbishment.

Hasn't changed in 40 years still same carpet old and dirty the boss was unfriendly we attended an afternoon 80th birthday only 1 staff member to serve after the first hour ran out of. most beers not worth a star rating

Great bands and atmosphere. Chris is a really friendly host.

Brilliant local with a proper pub vibe. Back room is always ready for partying with loads of table and chairs and a big dancefloor. All entertainment has been excellent since the revamp, if there's any bands on etc. get yourself down there.

This pub is extremely outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The staff are polite and friendly.

No problems here ok beers a bit pricey but where isn't nice back room if u want to cater for about 80 to 100 people

Lovely staff and venue was great for my daughters party. Would be 5 star if it wasn't for remnants of Saturday night on the way in on the Sunday. Will visit again.
