Awful service, the people at the checkout They brazenly taunted my glasses in my eyes. And my English. I waited for my sandwich for more than half an hour. Not recommend

More worried about something moving a small table than the health of a baby in the heat/sun!

After waiting at another coffee shop for 10 minutes before being kicked out for my dog not being a guide dog, popped into The Apex Café and didn’t have to wait long to be served. I got exactly what I wanted at half the price as the other place, and my dog was welcome. I won’t be back there and will make The Apex Cafe my new staple! Coffee is perfect and the service was also great!

A nice airy space but the cafe is card only, the person before me walked out because of this. I said I would like the option to pay cash, girl who served me was quite pleasant in responding blaming both management and the council. Another member of staff was muttering sarcastically about only taking card. I accepted the inevitable this time only to be told once I had placed my order that they had run out of cups so the drinks would be served on takeaway cups. Needless to say I won't be returning any time soon.

Bit slow but drinks were excellent, probably nothing to do with the cafe but on the day we visited the revolving door wasn’t functioning and the doors nearest the cafe till area were locked leaving just one entrance - sitting close to this door was seriously chilly 🥶

Good coffee but took 15 mins to be served (I was 3rd in the queue) & another long wait for the coffee. Wasn't particularly busy but staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, probably not helped by the music echoing loudly.

Quiet little coffee bar that also serves wine etc. Handy place to take a load off and sit outside for a bit of people watching. No table service and I noticed they didn't disinfect tables between uses hence 4 not 5 stars.
