Not sure how this place makes a living as it is hidden away on the top floor of an antiques shop in the centre of Salisbury. Quaint & quirky. Teas, coffees and light meals - salads, sandwiches, toasties, baked potatoes. All nicely served in proper cuos, pots & plates. Sit be the window and you can watch the world go by in the street below. Charming.

We hosted my sisters baby shower at the Antelope cafe, and it was the perfect cosy and bright space for a small group of us to get together to celebrate. Laura was an amazing host and provided an amazing spread of afternoon tea, sandwiches, salads, scones & cake, which were all homemade and delicious! Thanks for making it a really special afternoon & taking such good care of us!!

Having walked around Salisbury we had all but given up on finding the right place for our lunch. We happened on this lovely cafe via checking out the Antiques Centre. It's on the second floor so very light and airy with a mixture of furniture and art works. Very relaxed. The menu was great - we are veggies and I couldn't decide what to have (as opposed to often having to have the only option). I had the beetroot salad full of delicious fresh salads tomatoes etc with a lovely seeded roll, and my boyf had the halloumi and pepper toastie with salad. All extremely yummy and we just had room to share a delicious piece of carrot cake. Pots of tea (not cups) and the offer of hot water for a top up. Perfect. Really friendly service We don't visit Salisbury often and are now trying to find a, reason to cone again soon.

Had to complain about my dried up lunch today. The assistant immediately took a defensive attitude, raised her voice at me, which was totally unacceptable. I ended up walking out. Upon phoning the owner she defended her staff, never apologized and told me I was not welcome there again!! Absolutely disgraceful attitude.

Friendly and thoroughly civilised. Cake portion was huge and moist and the teacake was perfection. Prices very reasonable and copies of "The Lady" to peruse whilst awaiting the arrival of one's food. Ten out of ten.

Situated above an antiques shop, this is a small independent cafe with an eclectic mix of tables and chairs. Met some friends here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't be put off by the climb up the stairs as the food and coffee are worth the climb. Quiet when we were there surprisingly. Served by a very helpful and friendly member of staff. Recommended.

My favourite regular haunt. Laura and her staff are always welcoming. Delicious, freshly made lunches and cakes; the carrot cake and recent addition, ginger cake are wonderful. Always great coffee and a wide selection of teas. A refreshing change in a city with more than it's fair share of chain establishments.

Such a little gem, tucked out of the way over looking Catherine Street Salisbury, this cafe is a lovely hideaway. With a huge and incredibly comfy sofa (our favourite spot), delicious and filling food, interesting reading material and artwork this definitely has more to offer than your run of the mill chain store coffee shop. Although not pram friendly (as it's a few floors up!) they're very accommodating of my toddler, who I walk there instead of taking a pram. I highly recommend the hot chocolate and home made ice cream which is just out of this world. The cakes and meal options are fab too! Very attentive and nice staff, polite and helpful. I feel you can tell a lot about an establishment by the customers, who are always nice too! A must if you're visiting salisbury, or a local.

The right place for a pit stop in Salisbury after looking round the antique market. Interpret “antique” liberally, but no harm in that – there are all sorts of interesting bits and pieces upstairs as well as the silver on the ground floor. In London oddly matched tables and chairs are usually an affectation; here they add charm. The menu has something to suit most people, even the more irksome “free-from…” brigade (the genuinely ill are exempt from criticism; the picky not so much). The smoked salmon salad with a pot of tea is a bargain. The staff are smiley and helpful. Hard to beat.

Quirky coffee shop on top floor of fascinating antique shop in central Salisbury. Laura and her staff make customers feel very welcome. Situated at the top of a narrow flight of stairs on the 3rd floor of an Antique Market, this quirky little café is something completely different. The cosy ambience is created by the unusual décor but more importantly, the staff are friendly and the food fresh and well presented. Delicious home-baked cakes are available, but we settled for a light lunch. Salad was better & more colourful than most; whole grain bread was deliciously fresh, and the generous pot of tea left us feeling that we would want to return to try other items on their lunch menu. Next time we'll choose a larger table as we found ourselves feeling a little cramped in the corner. Can highly recommend this little gem.

We were staying along the road in Box, and the Six Bells in Colerne was recommended for Saturday night pizza’s courtesy of the mobile food van, Only Fools & Morsels. Warmly welcomed in what’s a very friendly local, that nowadays doesn’t do food. Actively encouraged to bring food in - and the pizzas prepared whilst we enjoyed our drinks in the pub were excellent. Don’t know what the place is like other nights of the week but well worth a visit on Saturday evenings.

Mixed review. Homemade bread was excellent, was excited for things to come.... The tapas was .... ok. No flavours jumping out if each dish. Its all very well presented and nice. But I genuinely think I could make each dish at home with ease. Mongolian lamb, what made it Mongolian? There was no spice, sweetness. Just very 'ok'. The kangaroo was under seasoned also. Service was excellent. In all we had a lovely evening but would I rush back for the food? Probably not. I'll just pop across the road and make the dishes myself.

Well, this is what happens when you jump on the "Just Eat" band wagon. We have ate her before and it was very nice food and service. Unfortunately, today was not the case. We decided to visit for a breakfast and ordered our food. Thirty minutes later, nothing arrived so my wife enquired about the order, only to be told that they had a large delivery to contend with. My wife went off to use the toilets and came back stating they were a disgrace and looked like they hadn't been cleaned. After forty minutes, we cancelled the order and left. There front of house stated they were a chef and a driver down, which was of no concern to us and wasn't disclosed when ordering our food. Over all, a very poor experience, with poor communication and preference to orders going out the door, to those dining in. The waitress also had to apologise to an adjoining table for their late food.
