Lovely pub with a fabulous view overlooking the river Avon. Plenty of outdoor seating and inside seating is nicely presented. They have a good range of beers and ciders. The food is great - not the most extensive menu but a good range to choose from and best of all it’s very good quality and value for money

Visited today for Sunday lunch . oddly the pub seems separate to the restaurant as we had to pay for drinks first . The beer was very good as before . We ordered two beef Sunday roasts which came very quick but the plates were cold and the food was not hot , I asked for extra gravy which came in two small pots . When we paid we were charged £1 each for the gravy ,this was quite a shock to us as there was little on the plate to start with ,therefore be aware of this rip off . Wil not eat there again.

Booked a table for 7 as we were staying in our caravans in Wyre Piddle. What a little gem had pre drinks on the decking which has 3 layers and watched the swans with their signets go by. The food was freshly prepared and the quality and quantity was spot on. Couldn’t fault The Anchor the bar staff and restaurant staff were welcoming and very friendly. Thank you for making our evening perfect.

Stopped at The Anchor as part of a solo paddle boarding trip along the river. Food orders had been temporarily put on hold due to a very busy service but was a lovely day so decided to sit and have a drink enjoying the weather whilst I waited for service to resume. Waitress Emma you were an absolute gem. Your warmth, friendliness and customer service was commendable throughout my interactions with you. You informed me once the kitchen had started retaking orders and the food arrived in good time and was very satisfying. Although I had good service from others at the Anchor it was Emma that stood out to me and I thank her for a delightful experience. I would recommend The Anchor and intend on visiting again based off this visit.

What's that saying about if it ain't broke...? Hmm. Without a doubt this had been my favourite pub for at least 6 years. I don't live locally anymore but always made an effort to visit when I drove the 150 mile trip to the area to visit family. With its steep garden terrace down to the banks of the River Avon, its own private mooring and views to die for, this tranquil haunt was an idyllic watering hole. Was. Sadly it has been through several changes of management in recent times, and the current custodians have made the worst job of it by far. Without a decent lager in sight, and a fairly uninteresting selection of beers, all the outside tables in view of the river have been turned 90° ruining the views and sit wonkily on the grass section. They are also sticky and dirty, which is why you won't find me reviewing the food here; something I remember enjoying and extolling the virtues of here on TripAdvisor the last time I wrote about one of my visits. I am truly saddened about the way this incredible pub - one with potentially award-winning gardens - has been mismanaged. It was practically perfect until those who felt they had to meddle with an excellent forumla, if only to feel they had 'put their own stamp on it', sent it to rack and ruins. One could almost go as far as to use the word 'scuppered' here, given the pub's name...! If you would like a good pint, great food, a private mooring and a lovely table by the river in the same area, although it pains me to say it given how much I used to adore this place, then may I suggest that you head over to The Star Inn in Pershore? Or anywhere else, frankly. Shame.

Nice food and good value, lovely location. But really not happy to see the chef and waitress fussing dogs, feeding them raw meat with their fingers then cooking and serving up food! Not on at all. Also the table was sticky with drinks rings and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and won’t be eating there again unfortunately for hygiene reasons alone. Very disappointed.

As a frequent solo diner around all of the Cotswolds, I have frequented many local eateries and have previously stayed at the Crown. Last night I thought I would indulge myself by dining there. I had two starters rather than one main. The service was excellent, the team were friendly and attentive and the food was 1st class!! Thank you Reece, you really are a top chef, funds permitting I may come back again tonight !!

First popped into the Cafe on the way to the m50 for a pitstop about 12 months ago.oOn that occassion ordered a jacket potato with cheese. Took 40 mins and then it had cream cheese covered with a birds dropping size of hard cheese. Disgusting. Called in again this weekend as driver was hungry and ordered 2 lots of salad sandwich, a sausage roll and a slice of cake. Cost, 24.00. Asked for mayo but didn't have any. Sandwich consisted of two slices of dried bread and the salad was a lettuce leaf, a chunk of tomatoe and a slice of cucumber. Barely covered the meat but meat was OK, 2 slices of ham. Put together by a 4 year old by the looks of it. Cake was good though. However in future I will be using the mobile snack bar in the nearby lay-by if he's there next time I'm passing.

We've been to Pasha many times and recommend it highly. Excellent food and friendly, efficient service to match. There were a couple of large parties this evening so we were glad we arrived earlier.
