I absolutely loved this place. Tucked away off a busy Fleet Street, the interior is beautiful. Inside it’s calm and relaxed and the staff were attentive and friendly. I was with two of my bosses and they enjoyed it too! A perfect visit for a drink before dinner. I’ll be back soon!

I remembered this elegant room in a former grand banking hall off Fleet Street in its previous incarnation as a tapas bar. It’s now called The Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas but you’d only know that if you ventured up a flight of steps knowing what to find behind the double door ahead because there’s not even a menu displayed outside. Not surprising then that only one other table was occupied this lunchtime. It’s a very small menu of small but select dishes from which I chose tempura prawns (although I was told the chilli sauce was unavailable so a different orange-coloured one was substituted) and a venison pate with some choice red and green slices of tomato. Neither cheap at £9 and £14 respectively. A trio of sorbets at £6 was better value. But overall an idyllic lunchtime retreat which felt like something of a secret pleasure.

A small cracking wine bar on Fleet Street. Very up market looking decor with comfortable seating and large bright windows to watch the world go by. The selection of wines was decent and I liked the choice of small plate dishes. We opted for a wine flight (3 x 75ml glasses) to try different wines and was not disappointed! Would highly recommend.

This new venue is very well appointed and it has some delicious food on the bar menu as well as a good wine list and staff who know how to help you navigate it. Well worth a visit.

Visited Wrights Cafe Pall Mall last weekend. The food was absolutely delicious! I also had a coffee and it was the best one i have had in the area….The prices are definitely on the cheaper side, especially for the area. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend to all!!!

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹

All fantastic: the food choice, the quality, the staff. I truly recommend for both breakfast and lunch.

Dined here as guests - very impressed - unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere - friendly staff - good menu. What more can anyone ask for.
