Poor quality sandwich, more bread than filling, and the price did not reflect what was served. Friendly staff but would not recommend a visit.

Great little deli. Their salad boxes are really nice and change every day. They also have a great selection of cheeses including two vegan ones! I actually really liked the veganzola but didn’t enjoy the Brie. Friendly staff and quick service

A good selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Plus some nice local beers and other drinks. Sweet potato bhaji's are a particular favourite

Great little deli on the Main Street in town, very friendly service, good selection of local produce, salads , vegetables etc. Superb cakes - recommend the toffee apple crumble, the gingerbread as well as the chilli scotch eggs!

Not a restaurant, but a deli, very close to our holiday apartment. A lovely range of deli goodies, including basics like bread, milk, eggs, fresh veg. Good cheese selection, lovely fresh olives (though surprised they were uncovered and open in the shop for self service) plenty of gluten free option for crackers, sandwiches etc. Friendly helpful staff, but, as you might expect of a deli in St Ives, expensive, and prices not clearly marked and readily obvious. Restricted numbers at any one time which was enforced.

A very nice deli selling some fabulous food. Amazingly we literally couldn’t buy sun dried tomatoes anywhere in St Ives except at this shop! The staff are very helpful & friendly.

Popped in to get some thing for tea. I had just bought fresh salmon, and the staff were so helpful in giving me sauce options, organic vegetables. I bought way more than I needed but felt the shop deserved every penny.

This place became a daily visit during our stay. Loads of tasty fruit, veg, salads, drinks and deli treats but also much better gluten free pasties than nearby and gluten free bread once or twice a week.

During a two day stay in the St. Ives area, chanced upon the Allotment Deli - proper selection of tempting things, drawn in from the fresh array outside to find a host of fab things to choose from… Cheese counter is a wow! Lots of fab charcuterie, relishes, olives, local delicacies. Positively brimming with bounty! And lovely people behind the counter too. Shall be back.

Excellent quality food. Lovely staff. Staying on fore street this was so local to us. We picked up our bread, ham, fruit and veg here every couple Of days. The taste and quality of the food was great. I only wish I had a deli like this over the road from my actual house back home.

Would agree the choice of local products is very good, and all produce is fresh and lovley, just finding the prices are creeping up to become quite OTT Where we would pop in 2-4 times during the week for beech picnic supplies now it’s once a week, sad but feel this place will not last with its pricing strategies

On the hunt to replenish the cheeseboard back at the apartment, we popped into the Allotment Deli.It was a compact place but it was crammed with goodies! We bought our cheese(s), veg and a few other oddments and went merrily on our way. It's the sort of place where it would be easy to suffer from "death by cheese"!

This is the best hidden gem in St Ives, the ladies behind the counter are lovely and create a fab atmosphere. The food and produce is incredible and so many gluten free options! I tried a gluten free pastie and it was delicious! All the cakes are baked to perfection too!

Engaging, considerate and generous staff. The most delicious fresh fruit and vegetables and a real pride in the service they were providing. Even a reference to wanting to keep costs down - well received after we'd previously paid £3.70 for two doughnuts elsewhere in the street - in fact they GAVE us a bonus couple of delicious shortbreads! We returned here each day of our stay. Would definitely be regulars if we were local - long may they continue

Being a Cornish Pasty lover but having had to recently go gluten-free before our trip to Cornwall, I was obviously very disappointed to have to miss out... until finding The Allotment Deli sell gluten-free items along their other products.Having been told of the Yellow Canary gluten-free pasties, these were disappointing as the pastry was just not right... however the gluten-free pasties from The Allotment Deli actually tasted like shortcrust pastry and the filing tasted freshly baked. The standard pork pie at £3.50 was huge and the kids enjoyed these!

This is such a great Deli in St Ives with a lot of vegan, veggie and other meat based options and also fantastic coffee. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and the cakes were great too. I thought the salads and hummus looked a bit tired and unappetising but other than that everything looked great and what I ate was good. A really varied selection of fruits, organic veg and other really good food.

The Allotment Deli is one of the best food shops on Fore Street because the outside display is always bright, attractive and stands out.Not only do they sell ‘Ann’s ‘ Pasties which truly tasty but they have such an excellent choice of local fresh fruit, vegetables and other foodstuffs including some nice cheeses and meats we like. The owner and her staff are very friendly and seem to work hard to provide a good choice of food and drinks.

Not much to add to the above really a good mix of tender steak and traditional vegetables, not mushy and the pastry was first rate. Paid contactless and still don't know what they cost - and I don't care!

Such a great little shop. On asking if they had any aubergine today, was offered one for free if I didn't mind how it looked ( a bit wrinkled). Also bought completely unctious pies which all family loved and possibly the best peanut butter ever. Pricier than the co-op but worth it!

We stumbled upon The Allotment Deli and how lucky were we. It's got a great selection of tasty healthy food, marvellous types of Samosas veggie, sweet potato, beetroot and traditional, onion barges, quiches and much more. It's an oasis of flavour. The staff were great also explaining what was available. They even had oat milk available as my wife has an allergy with cows milk. It will be top of the list of places to go to next time we visit St. Ives.

What can I say. We arrived on a wet, cold, windy day and needed to cater for guests for brunch the next day. We got everything we needed here. Called in several times more during the week. Scotch eggs are the best. We left on Saturday 19th May therefore missing out on their Royal Wedding celebrations and because of this they insisted we called in before we left to collect and 'on the house' couple of slices of celebratory cake. So yummy. Many thanks. We will be back......

Used the allotment deli daily on our week in St Ives - good sourdough, selection of sandwiches and everything we needed for self catering. Staff are friendly and there are some interesting deli items. Takeaway coffee and good soup. Good to have a local independent store so close to our accommodation.

Just had The Drake and the Mrs Perryman. Both came with plenty of chips, the actual duck dishes were outstanding, really nice. We will be returning to try another dish when we return next year. We were lucky to have crispy skin as well. We spotted the sign for the duck Truck while we were driving to our cottage in Tintagel and decided to give it a go during our stay. We were not disappointed. Top local produce, by the farmer. Keep up the good work, we'll be back
