Drank in this pub for years, 20years ago, very different now, changed clientele

Staple pub in the south side with a great atmosphere and karaoke

Disgusting place. Service horrific. Women serving behind the bar (small, dark hair with glasses) had horrific service and doesn't deserve your money. Do not visit!!!!!

The staff are very friendly. I stopped in once and when I went back a month later they remembered me and asked if my granddaughter had been born yet. There are tables all around the central island bar, lots of tvs, many kids of beer in cooler cases to choose from and pay at the various. No food is prepared but they do have bags of snacks.

One of the best pubs in Glasgow. It does an amazing selection of bourbon, rum, gin and whisky as well as several fridges full of amazing local craft beers and German ales.

Really disappointed experience. Not a dog loving pub. This pub is going down hill for years and today's disappointment reflects how bad it is and that I have to leave a review. Don't go !!!!

Great selection of both gins and beers, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Good place to watch sports if the sound is on and the local crowd is the best.

Strange night, service dreadful, did not recognise any member of staff. Waited ages to get served. Ordered a pint of Tennents, only to be told 2 minutes later the Tennents was off....on a Friday night, with a busy weekend ahead!?¿? Get a grip!

Good pub with nice atmosphere. We went for the Father Ted quiz which unfortunately we didn't really enjoy. It was a bit chaotic and disorganised. This was our first time in the venue so not sure if their quizzes are always done that way and, if so and the regulars are happy with that, then it's not my place to criticise, it just wasn't for me.

A very good pub. It's got an excellent selection of booze and the lounge and bar are both splendid.

Was only in for an hour while my granddaughter was at a nearby event. It seemed a nice enough place, then some kids about 12 years old or younger came in. What for is beyond me. There were in twice before being ushered out. I wasn't in long enough or often to give an honest opinion

3 of us visited the Allison Arms last week and had a good couple of hours. The staff were very friendly and service was good. A good selection of craft beers in the fridge. There were a few TV screens so I presume they show football matches? Would definitely recommend.

Well run bar with a fantastic beer choice (see the fridges at the back). Need to be in early on a Saturday to get a seat.

Such a fun and friendly atmosphere. We arrived unexpectedly on Kareoke night. Planned to leave, but it was such fun we stayed the whole night.

It's a bit jacket despite the general gentrification of the area but it has a great atmosphere for all that

TV kept turning off during the Champions League final and no last orders call at the bar before being told the bar is shut, run by amateurs

Nice atmosphere, great selection of craft beers in the four fridges they have at the rear of the bar. Air conditioning was spot on during the nice weather.

Lovely pub. Can't fault it. Great atmosphere, great decor and great staff. Feels like a community pub where people look after each other I'm not the biggest fan of pubs in general, which is why this didn't get 5*

A friendly local crowd atmosphere which has been fostered by welcoming and inclusive staff. Massive gin menu, good whisky’s and great selection of local and German beer. The karaoke is some laugh and they’ll show the big football games.

Love this pub, couldnt wait to revisit last night before dinner but was so disappointed with the barman......such awful attitude and service, wanted to leave after 1st drink but got the lovely pleasant barmaid to serve us who was excellent. If you dont want to be there go home and not make people feel uncomfortable.

Class pub with a good selection of draught beers and also fridges up the back with hunners of German/World & Craft beers! Great atmosphere and also doggy friendly which is good if you want to duck in for one when out walking Mutley

One of the best pubs in southside. Always busy but friendly staff and decent fridges in the back. Always bring visitors to Glasgow here for a local bar.

This is the best pub I have found since the The Boswell Country Club closed down. First Class all round service.

Terrible wifi causing the payment system to drop, meaning cash only and a bit of a walk to the ATM for those who wish to pay by card.

Love this pub. Great atmosphere, great staff, loads of choice including good German beer selection. Consciously inclusive space. Good karaoke nights and also shows football. Win win win. :)

Old, young, new, old... A new favourite haunt in the Southside. That was 2019....this is 2022 and I stand by my assessment from then, in fact it's even better than I remember. Excellent, friendly boozer.

My favourite Southside pub. Always a good atmosphere at the weekends and a good mix of people. Can be very busy though.

Good local crowd but also has an excellent selection of beer so not a standard boozer. Lots of good bottles but also more taps than normal (without it being a full on "craft beer" bar).
