The Alice Restaurant in Oxford

Great pub right in the centre! Lots of space, really great delicious meals and very friendly staff

A menudo, el servicio sutil, hostil al cliente o francamente grosero del personal de bar nuevo y más experimentado hasta gran parte de la administración allí, necesita ser abordado con mucha URGENCIA.

Chill place. We sat down to just have one drink before deciding to explore more of Oxford. The place is neat and I think I saw people of all ages there having a fun time.

We’re so glad to see The Anchor back open—and under new ownership, it’s better than ever. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the new menu with its Middle Eastern twist is a fantastic upgrade. I had the lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. My partner ordered the beef, along with the halloumi sticks and chilli garlic prawns to start—all absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, and it’s clear the team really care about creating a great experience. We’ll definitely be back—The Anchor is quickly becoming a new favourite in the area!

I booked a vegan afternoon tea for two at this place. The place was very very busy - we waited a bit for our table and for our food to arrive. It's a nice rooftop location for drinks but to be completely honest, I did not find it special. The vegan afternoon tea was amazing though!
