The Akash Tandoori in Dartford

Ordered a delivery via just eat ! Absolutely disgusting services , abusive language! Never received the ordered ! Even tho they said they tried to deliver ! No they didn’t ! We are staying in Hilton dartford bridge the restaurant even said the delivery driver spoke with reception which they hadn’t ,Refusing to refund !

This is the only curry take away we use it’s local to us the staff are very friendly, the food is outstanding highly recommended.

I just had a delivery chicken tikka which used to be orange with onions and a nice taste I got none of that brown no onions and tasteless chicken tikka Balti 4 pieces of chicken and a out 4 spoons of horrible sauce half a container for 7.90 bloody liberty Bombay potatoes just got boiled potatoes completely plain it was all definitely not worth money wont be eating there again in fact I didn't eat it this time it used to be good before they started serving up left overs from the day before if I'm I'll I know who to blame

By far the best and only Indian take away we use, outstanding service, great food, fast delivery, highly recommended.

We’ve ordered from this restaurant over the last few years don’t know whether it’s changed hands but from one order to the next the food is so so different probably because they have a different chef but it’s not our first choice for a takeaway curry

A good local Indian takeaway it is only a takeaway you can't eat in house but very good quality and reasonable price they deliver locally for free

The telephone number on this site is wrong and keeps taking you through to a landline number. Can this please be changed and rectified as it has happened numerous times when placing and order on the phone.

Used this take away quite a lot in the past but hadn't used it for some time. Ordered it through the Just Eat system. Quick and easy to do. The food was very good with good portions and nice presentation. Arrived on time and was piping hot. Will use again in future.

We ordered a take away, I went for the chicken baptised with a grlic nan, and my partner had the tandoori king prawn with mushroom rice, all was cook frash. This place is well worth a visit.

Food is always good from here just the delivery was late even after the 30 minutes they added to the predicted time on the app.

Really delicious meal, will definitely order again. The Dhansak was particularly authentic.

Food arrived cold. Drinks paid for and not delivered. Agreed £10 refund. Owner rings me back to tell me 9.50 then denies my food is cold despite it being in front of me. Terrible service

Best thing about this was that it arrived early. Food was really oily and extremely bland. The Saag Paneer was particularly disappointing as it was full of very tough spinach stalks that made it inedible. Won't be ordering from here again, what a waste of money!

I placed and paid for my order to be delivered for 21:00 due to finishing work, just eat had comfirmed my time as 21:10 I arrived home around 2100/21:15 to find out my food had been delivered at 19:45! Which was cold! I am never ordering from this place again!

Wish I'd discovered this place earlier, brilliant.

Good and polite service, punctual too. The portions are very generous, however unfortunately ingredient quality and/or cooking not so good, sauces more oily than I'd prefer and meat was chewy/tough and not enough flavor sign that was not cooked that long in that sauce? Pity because they seem to want to deliver quality.. Perhaps reduce quantity and improve quality & care?

Food was good and tasty. The samosas were a little cold and considering I spent almost £40 there was no free bottle of coke as mentioned when ordering. It was an hour wait but to be expected on a saturday evening. Will still continue to use as best Indian in the area.

Good onion Bhaji, tasty chicken tikka Balti but they failed to make it vindaloo hot as selected on the options, it came very mild. Pathia came vindaloo hot but did not have the usual hot & sour taste of a pathia unfortunately.

Always order my indian takeway from akash and food as usual was fab, I also left notes for extra special item which we received and a request for diet or zero coke (as we don't like coke!) This sadly was not fulfilled and a wasted free drink was received. Delivery people always friendly from here and rarely have a fault with food.

I did a collection with my order. Food was amazing, the tikka sauce could have been a little juicer though but best I've had in a long while. They were very polite and quick when I did my collection! Definitely would order again.

As first impressions go, we are absolutely blown away. So, some highlights for you. We wanted to order something which wasn't on the menu, staff member on phone said it wasn't a problem and he took care of it for us. The delivery was much quicker than estimated, the food quality was excellent too. I think we just found our new favourite. Thanks again! Superb. highly recommended.

Arrived in 30 minutes which is great, there was a mistake in the order called restaurant to replace the wrong dish qhich they agreed to but never showed up. A shame that the service didn't meet the standard of the food.

Great food, delivered hot & on time

Ordered food given a 45 minute estimated delivery time then had a half hr added on (not a Problem) after another 20 mins not food so phoned shop said was on its way waited another 10 mins still no food so i phoned back and said was just doing it now so i cancelled order and asked for a full refund then as i was walking out the door it turned up and i rejected as was going out to collect other food i had ordered instead

I never had problems with the place before but tonight thier service is shocking my order turned up on time and hot but a few items was missing phone up and was told the driver was going to drop them round to me in 2 mins half an hr later still no missing items I then phoned again and cancelled the rest and ask for a refund and was told that the driver would bring round my refund and now an hr later im still waiting for my refund absolutely shocking customer service.

Ordered here for the first time after reading how good the food was. The food was nice, delivery time was around an hour but didn't mind the wait but i didn't recieve my drink!! Apart from that very happy with the service.

We had heard good reports about Akash Tandoori so, when we decided on a take-away curry tonight, opted to try them for the first time. We were not in the least disappointed. The food was magnificent, and there is no doubt that we will order from them again. - probably, to be honest, without ever trying any other local alternative.s. Thank you.

Pathetic food. I ordered Mutter Paneer. Recieved Chickpeas and paneer instead. Food had no salt and was extremely sweet. It was like eating sugar candy. Also ordered tandoori roti and chapati which were pratically like hard cardboard. The Sabzi Masala that I ordered was bright red in colour and only had huge cubes of potatoes. On the whole hated the food and will never ever order from Akash

Recently turned vegetarian and the food was appalling. Oily and no flavour. Have eaten here many times before and the food is nice but the vegetarian options were very disappointing and threw the food away

Over promise on delivery time & under deliver. Food was lukewarm but good when reheated. Tip: wrap food in cling film, helps to retain heat.

Food arrived late. All food was cold so we had to heat up! All food packaging covered in oil. Korma was bland and tasteless. Chicken in all dishes was very dry. Quite expensive for the quality. Best thing was the bottle of Coke! Wouldn't order from here again! Much better takeaways in the area.

Gorgeous food and great service. They forgot a bottle of drink accidentally and sent someone back to deliver the missing item without any delay. You can't fault them.

After spending just short of £40 with the takeaway we waited over an hour and a half for the food to be delivered. When it got here the food was absolutely freezing. Not even Luke warm- actually cold. The different curries, the different types of rice and the naan bread were ALL cold. The naan bread was actually like it had been taken out of a fridge and it was very wet. I personally will never order from here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Well, really good quality food. If you go anywhere else in the area you make a mistake. Highly recommended!
