The 212 in Leeds

Hice un viaje especial para visitar este bar el domingo 30 de abril, avisos externos abiertos hasta las 12. 00 am, llegó a las 10 pm para ser rechazado como terminado de servir a las diez, no se da ninguna explicación así que no sé si los horarios de apertura son incorrectos o si había alguna otra razón, no volveremos.

Apareció en alrededor de 13 : 45 un domingo. Las señales confirmaban que hacen comida todo el día de lunes a domingo. Nos sentamos en una mesa frente a la barra con un menú de comida en ella, pasamos 5 minutos mirándola y fuimos al bar a pedir. El caballero detrás de la barra acaba de decir ‘no hay comida hoy’ - ninguna explicación o disculpa. Aprecio y entiendo que no en todas partes la comida lo hace el fin de semana, pero creo que este lugar realmente necesita actualizar su señalización, eliminar los menús de las mesas y tal vez pedir a los miembros del personal que sean más proactivos.

Gente estupenda y bebidas en un entorno frío. Pregunte por Frank, Noah, Steff, Tom, Tom Jamie, Matt y por supuesto el sábado Amber! Las canciones son brillantes.

Beer tasted terrible. Politely asked the barmaid to change the beers but she refused. She and some guy told me that’s what it’s “supposed” to taste like. Clearly know nothing about beer. Would not recommend going.

Just situated outside my hotel, the former JURYS Inn at Leeds is this gem of a location. Colourful, welcoming, friendly and relaxing with a great drinks menu and attentive staff. Enjoyed immensely.

Live locally, went in for a quick drink with friends, went for smoke whilst the drinks were still 3/4 full and when returned a few minutes later the bartenders had decided to pour the drinks away? When asked was told we should’ve let them know we went out and they refused to replace the drinks simply said we would have to purchase more. A little bit ridiculous and I was at no point rude during the interaction, just simply left. To say this is one of the few bars I live locally too and now won’t want to return us disappointing.

Stopped for a quick drink as our hotel was close by. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Quite a small bar but cozy inside with space outside for seating as well.

Lovely bar, great staff, atmosphere and drinks. Will be returning regularly I might make this my new local.
