Thatched House in Hammersmith and Fulham

So nice to have decent home cooked food with vegetables and not the burger and chip menu as seen in most pubs. The lamb shank was divine. The dining area is clean and spacious and there is also a conservatory. Nice pub for all occassions.

I just love this amazingly family friendly pub and their Sunday lunch is like a huge hug . Absolutely wonderful selection of different meat choices and I had whole sea bass with Sunday roast veg. I devoured it and was so lovely flavours on the bone. They moved tables for us always on hand and not gourmet food but just great reliable goodness so its excellent value for money. Best Sunday roast by far for me. It's usually very busy so you will need to book ahead or phone on the day. Party and garden room at the rear. Thank you as always Thatched House my home from home. We tried out Thatched House on a Friday night for dinner. The pubs nice and cosy and staff very friendly. The mussels were great and the mains were generally really nice and tasty. We booked via the fork and got 30% off food which was a great deal. It is worth calling out Sujin who was great. Super friendly and helpful. Would recommend doing a bit of a bathroom clean. There was a strong smell even from the outside. Would recommend this place for food and live sports too.

I only popped in to watch the 2nd half of the football match between Tottenham hotspur and Manchester united.. my 3rd time at the Thatched house. I would go back again at the drop of a hat.

We organised our Christmas dinner at the Thatched House. I got a lot more than what I expected for £29.95 per person. The food was really good and filling portion sizes, we kindly got given a student discount on drinks, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and toasty with a fire and Christmas crackers laid out on a beautifully decorated table. The food and service has always been consistently good even when I go outside of a Christmas dinner. Would recommend for both the affordability of the Christmas dinner package and their usual food, drink and atmosphere!

Lovely old style quintessential English pub. Dark oak panels, light stained tables and a wonderful open fire with sofas. Different areas throughout: the pub, a restaurant area and the terrace, already with the Xmas decorations. Wooden floors and white ceiling with spotlights keeps it light and bright. However, interestingly, it is a newish pub just few years old. You would never thing that comfortably sitting on the sofa having a drink in front of the open fire! Starter of king prawns. Very well cooked, the chilli, garlic and lemon well balanced. Just a tad too oily. Sirloin as a main. Mushroom, cherry tomato, chunky chips. A prime cut of meat beautifully cooked. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, simple but delicious and a fitting end to a good meal. All very well cooked and presented. As pub food goes, this one is up there with the best. Nice choice of background music, not too loud so you can actually maintain a conversation. Free parking in the area during the week after 5 is a bonus. In brief, good food in a cosy setting, well priced and the service is very good. Special mention to Sujin, he was great. Highly recommended.

The food is very good. A decent menu with additional specials. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are good. The beer is a different matter - the draught beer was out of condition and needed removing.

Bernard was a superb host as I worked around the Thatched house. Huge seating areas inside and out Tastefully decorated and kept spick and span by Bernard and the staff... This is a lovely building with an open fire and plenty of books... A great way to spend a few hours over coffee , wine or alcohol... Serves food

Excellent food, staff and service. I was recently here for lunch with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can get a roast dinner or other various options, including pub classics like fish and chips. The owner was particularly friendly when he heard my strong Northern Ireland accent - brilliant! A great location and seems to do a good trade. I look forward to returning very soon and thus I highly recommend it!

The ambience was so lovely that I have fallen in love with the place. I had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream which was heart filling. The service was top class. The waiter had a great smile and great service. Will definitely come back.

The first time we went there was a very enjoyable experience. We booked in advance and were given a very nice table in the main dining section. The second time we turned up on an off chance and there was a loud party inside so we went outside. On our third outing we booked in advance again and were dismayed to be seated close to a loud party and on a table far too small for the purpose that looked like it was brought out of storage at the last minute. Both of these things took away from the enjoyment of the food, which has been consistently good. However, since you pay for the experience, I don’t think we’ll bother again.

Lovely place and very hospitable.

This is a wonderful, classic pub to enjoy a delicious meal or just drinks. We ate there for the first time last night, and had a lovely table right next to a fireplace, and excellent service. The food was very good, it is not often you can get duck breast on a pub menu. The chocolate cake with ice cream was a great way to finish off the dinner. It is a very spacious pub so lots of room for both diners and drinkers, which we really appreciate. We will certainly return and try other items on the menu, or maybe just stop in for a drink. Great place!

Seems like a lovely pub. It's a shame it got ruined by the fact I saw vermin scurrying about beneath my table. Don't want to be mean, but I don't really want to go back until it gets sorted out.

The food is just amazing! Excellent options and delicious, not your typical pub with soggy mash.

Dropped in for a pint with a couple of mates, on the way home from an earlier Thames-side drink. Plenty of space, we had a booth-like table, rather than one in the welcoming space in front of the bar, and had we arrived earlier, the large to-the-ceiling windows would have let the evening sunlight flood in. Some interesting beers. We need to return, earlier, one evening and try the food.

The manager and staff are truly amazing, they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They provide brilliant table service and the food and drink are both top draw. I have been here with my family several times and we always comment how wonderfully well run the pub is.

I had dinner there last week. It has a very nice ambience. A family and child-friendly kind of pub. The food is great. The taste is delicious and portion size is big. Special shoutout to Vini who was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. A 10/10 for me. Would definitely recommend.

A tremendous set of menu, nice ambience, and good service from the kind staff. My experience in this restaurant is phenomenal. Not only their food was amazing, but they also made it feel like I was dining in an elegant 5-star hotel.

Nice local pub where everyone will probably feel welcome. We have a very decent roast dinner, wine was good too. Music choice was strange (bad dance music) and the manager forgot to bring my tap water, but overall, really decent place.

Brilliant spot, great service, great food a real gem in the area!

The food was great and the atmosphere cosy and warm. Unfortunately, our experience was spoilt by the occupants of the next table's dogs that continously barked throughout our meal. It's nice to have dog friendly places, but it would have been nicer if the dog owners had been more responsible for their pets. I did say this to a member of staff but he just laughed and did not acknowledge what I had said. I will not be returning.

The worse dining experience of my life. The only thing I cannot fault with the Thatched House are the servers. Although the servers had NO CLUE about allergens and available plates for different allergies, they were lovely and tried to accommodate for us as much as possible. This restaurant is not suitable for gluten-free diners what so ever. The only thing they can offer, is a burger with a gluten-free bun. Nothing else at all. The manager was awful. He refused to help us, and made an incredibly rude comment as we walked out the door, which is rich considering he looks like a Noel Gallagher tribute act, but there we go. My partner and I left the Thatched House and went somewhere else. I wouldn't even recommend this place to a child with no taste buds. It was awful! Even the wine tasted cheap, but at £28 a bottle, it certainly shouldn't have!

Fantastic roast beef and roast lamb today, accompanied by a fab bloody mary and gin and tonic. Been eating here for years and always leave stuffed.

We booked a family party for 50 people - the private function area of the pub is light and airy and with the doors open out into the garden area it was the perfect environment for us. We arrived 15 minutes early and it was no problem - the manager and his team had Prosseco poured into glasses in no time! The service was brilliant - the staff were very friendly and very organised too. The table wine was kept stocked up throughout the afternoon and the food was excellent. Lots of compliments to the chef from our guests. Many thanks for a fabulous afternoon spent at the Thatched House - we would highly recommend it to anyone planning an event.

Great outdoor area/beer garden and the staff are so accommodating!

Fantastic value! A round of drinks for 2 of us for £9.20 and today (Wednesday) was burger night so we got a burger for £7 each. The burger was really good and would have been worth it for £14. They show sports also. Will definitely go back!

We had our wedding reception at Thatched House, and they provided us with our own outside area, table beautifully arranged, tasty buffet, great food, and the service was impeccable. Especially big thanks to Chris, who helped organise and make it run smoothly. It could not have been better! Thank you!!!! Karen & Will x

Cozy local pub with friendly staff and a decent selection of Young's beer and ales. Sizeable beer garden in the back with an outside TV. The food however is a little pricey for what you get, the blue cheese burger (in the pictures) was £15.95. The main let down was the fat chips on the side, if it had been real potatoes as opposed to whatever that was I'd have said that the price was spot on, but those chips really did ruin it all. If you're thinking of ordering food I'd avoid anything with fat chips on it if I were you.

Visited on Friday at 4.30pm for a bite to eat and were welcomed most cordially. The venue has a lovely vibe and the staff are more than helpful. Chris (who took my booking multiple times as I decided what time we could get there) explained the menu very well and pointed out what dishes could be changed for someone who is gluten free, diary free etc etc. We settled on the halloumi fries for starters, salmon and veg for one main and Pie of the Day (Steak and Ale) for me, oh and a burger for the dog (yes they are very dog friendly!). Food was impressive, all piping hot and extremely tasty. I highly recommend this place and will be back for sure,. Thanks very much Thatched House team.
