We decided to collect as waiting time for 2 dishes would have been 1.30. We ordered a duck salad and jungle curry. The duck was extremely fatty with no salad and zero flavour apart from the copious amounts of fish sauce. The jungle curry was just chilli and mushy chicken. Thai food is normally very flavoursome..this was the laziest attempt at cooking ive experienced to date. First and last time .

Food exceptional again. However it turned up 1 hour early against the time advised. Whilst this was ok for us the estimated delivery time really needs to be that and not just a random time given at booking.

Guy’s if this is your idea of egg fried rice and Thai green curry then you need to give your heads a wobble!! Cucumber does not belong in that dish. Chicken, cucumber,carrots and bamboo shoots is a very lazy attempt guy’s you seriously need to up your game 🤷🏻‍♂️ coz I seriously won’t be ordering from you again…

Ordered takeaway for first time from here through just eat . Pad Thai , fish cakes, Penang curry and chicken chill basil rice -Delicious . Short delivery time - much shorter than estimated delivery .lovely food

Nice and quick, but food was below usually standard. Fish cakes like rubber, tempura over cooked, noodles soft. Sweet chilli sauce weird taste, and no lime sauce. Shame, as usually lovely.

Awful pad thai….congealed orange noodle, won’t be ordering again if a simple pad thai was bad

Lovely food. Their mussamun curry is delicious - sauce full of flavour and delicately spiced as it should be, and tender lean lamb. Really good.

Said an hour and a half (which I thought was excessive?) but came after about an hour. Pad thai wasn't very nice and one of the starters just tasted like fried dough (puff balls). Massaman curry was good but overall food was average which is disappointing for £45 meal

Ordered food at 4:30pm for 7:30pm, arrived at 9:50pm, 2 hours and 20 mins late. Our children didn’t eat any due to waiting that long

I ordered our meal at 5.30 on line for a 7.30 delivery and it was eventually delivered to us at 9.50 after two calls to the restaurant in question.

The food is good however we ordered at 5:40pm with an estimated delivery of 7:40pm however it then got pushed back to 9:05pm and finally arrived at 9:15pm and one item in or order was messed up, probably wouldn’t order again just as it was so late.

To be fair it was NYE but I didn’t get my food for over 2 hours late. The food is always lovely but we ordered the food at 3pm to be delivered at 7:30. I will definitely be back as the it’s the best Thai around. I just hope they work on being more prepared on big evening.

Pre ordered, around 4ish, first deliver time was for 18:30. That then moved to 19:05. Driver called and was at wrong address. Leary didn’t use the post code to find my address and went by building name as the road...when they were outside they then called again beachside they could find the massive block of flats staring at them in the face... my building - first time ever. Food was stone cold. Restaurant didn’t care. Just offered to send driver back and collect refund, No apology very rude.

The food was cold, tasted like it had been sitting around for a while & not very tasty either, had lots of Thai before & it it had loads of flavours although this food was tasteless. Only until the order was placed did we see it was over an hr & a half wait, unfortunately wasn’t worth the wait & money

This is a delivery/takeaway place only, but I gave it a try and the food was good and plentiful.A mussamun curry - one of my favourites - with lamb was full of flavour, a good thick sauce and the meat plentiful and very tender and lean. It had obviously been cooked for hours as it should be, and was a really good, mild curry. Duck salad was - as warned - very spicy with lots of chilli. It was a generous portion and packed with vegetables as well as duck.I'd like to try more of their dishes.

The food this time was good, but it used to be great! The grilled beef was the star of the show this time.

Hardly Thai. Prawn tempura was deep fried standard batter - awful. All dishes over salted. No real flavour. Also arrived 45 mins late. So disappointing.

It was cold. Dripping in grease. Tasteless, the meat was of a very poor quality. I think some of it was supposed to be chicken but did not taste like chicken. The dumplings were swimming in the plum sauce that had leaked out over everything else. We are not fussy people but I think that’s the worst food I’ve ever tasted. It went straight in the bin and as I’ve got friends over I had to then cook a dinner.

Waited 2 and a half hours. No food. The restaurant claimed they tried to deliver. This is utter rubbish. When I called the restaurant they were extremely rude an refused to even discuss it . So I’ve paid over £22 and I’ve got no food and no refund. This is the most disgusting service I have ever had from a restaurant. I would not recommend this place at all. In fact I will be contacting trading standards .

Food was hot... thats where the good points end. I ended up throwing the food away. The pad thai had a sweet and sour taste to it and was stodgy. I will not be ordering again.

Restaurant called to say no Lamb, so had Beef Massaman which was inedible due to the amount of salt. The Green Curry extra sauce was 3 teaspoons full (measured) for the price and was really watery Dim Sum I could have used as a weapon they were so hard Did cLl the restaurant and got to,d busy will call back, still waiting Lockdown Birthday meal ruined

The title says it all really - if you like Thai food, then this is as good a takeaway as you will find. The jungle curry is excellent, as is the Tom Yum soup. I would also recommend the Dim Sum, but to be honest, I don't think we have ever had anything that wasn't really good from here. Recommended.

We had 4 different dishes from @Thai. They all tasted the same, over sweet, over salted, over cooked, gloopy mush. The chicken in these dishes was over cooked at sinewy, looked like the kind of meat that was meant to ground up for dog food.By far the WORST Thai I've ever had.We also requested no red peppers to be put in the dishes due to a food intolerance. Three of the four dishes had large pieces of red peppers in them.Was SO AWFUL that not only could we not eat it but I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs or rats!

Worst service I’ve ever received! Placed order & had a call saying it may be slightly later which I said was fine.Over 1hr 30 mins later we had a call saying it was on its way. Another 30 mins and I called up just to be told that they messed up and our food hadn’t been cooked! They could only offer to redo the order but with no discount to what I’ve already paid. Not just this but during my phone call I was spoken to horrifically and they even tried to blame us by saying we should’ve called up sooner! Following this I was then told the food had been sent to the wrong address. It was gone 9pm on a Saturday night and I did not want to wait another 2 hours for my meal, and therefore requested a full refund. This poor service has resulted in 4 people not having dinner and the business losing custom.

This was the groups first order from the restaurant made through Just Eat. The order was placed at 7:30, we were called around 45 mins later to be told our delivery would be late and would this be okay? We said that was fine and actually appreciated the call. After 1.5 hours of waiting for the food we received a message letting us know it was on it’s way. As the restaurant is quite close this should of taken no longer than 10 minutes. After another 30 minutes we chased the order up to be told it had been completed, then that it actually hadn’t been made and it was our fault for not chasing it up sooner (do note the above stating that we were called about a late delivery, why would we have called any sooner?). We asked for a full refund as it was gone 9pm and we didn’t want to wait any longer, the woman on the phone then argued saying that they would cook it, this was something we would only consider if we had a part refund or some form of compensation (pretty normal when a restaurant messes up so badly), this is something they wouldn’t do which is fine so we asked yet again for a refund. She continued to argue that they would cook it from fresh but due to the time this was not okay. The woman was nothing but rude, patronising and condescending. We then found out they had sent the order to the wrong house (the address on our order was correct). Would we bother ordering again, absolutely not. Nor would we now visit the restaurant. Some customer service training would be appropriate here! Maybe the food is nice, but we wouldn’t know.

Simply the worst service I have ever experienced. Waiting all night for my order to be told it was lost and it was my fault. Rude to boot. Don’t seem to care if they lose customers

Have had many takeaways in the past and have always been impressed but tonight we found it to be very poor !Even the Pad Thai was not up to standard ! Tried different noodle dish which was inedible ! Sorry to have to write this as always been impressed in the past but not tonight !

Set menu offered a good deal for us , we were happy with our food it was well presented and good service

We had the set menu 1, between the two of us, it arrived within 12mins and the meal was tasty and enjoyable. They also deliver, so took a menu with us and would be happy to order again.

Had two take aways from here now.First time when the food arrived it looked NOTHING like the images on their website (makes a bad burger joint look good). Very long wait time, 1.5hrs - Anyhow the food tasted okay.Second time wait time 1.5hrs again, again the food looks or tastes nothing like the images or description on their website (its so far from it it is laughable) - their BBQ meat turns up swimming in a sauce and then they provided an accompanying dip pot to dip a drenched peice of BBQ meat. Totally pointless, peope order bbq style meat as it should be served dry with a dip. When I complained it went right over the manager's head and all they said is is was meat!!! really, meat comes in many forms and styles.Thirdly, they did not put any rice in the bag so certain dishes could not even be eaten! all the useless woman said was she would refund the rice - what £3.00! I said you're missing the point, people can't eat money, we want food (hello), so she then said it will be another 1.5 hrs for the rice!Absolutely disgusting service, only concerned about money, wanted to refund £3.00 from a £60 order instead on insuring customers got what the order and paid for STEER WELL CLEAR OF THIS BUNCH OF SHARKS!5 peoples Friday night meal ruined - you should be ashamed of yourselves, practice like this will result in you not being in business more than 12 months - CROOKS, still no refund received, be warned, order elsewhere, do not risk it from here.

Have ordered from here for about 2 years now and the quality of the food is always to a high standard. Their green curry and sticky rice is lovely :)

The food is really tasty, I get the prawn green curry and my partner gets chicken yellow curry and we love them, however the delivery time is so up and down. We ordered a few weeks ago and it turned up within 20 minutes, however last night we ordered at 5.45pm and it didn’t arrive until 7.35pm!!! Nearly 2 hours. And I was trying to call the restaurant from 7-7.30 around 10 times and no one picked up at any point. They finally turned up at 7.35 and didn’t even apologise for the wait. I understand it’s not necessarily the driver’s fault but as a representative of the restaurant it wouldn’t hurt to say a simple sorry for the delay when it’s been nearly 2 hours! My curry was also too spicy this time, absolutely burned my face off. I like spice usually and the green curry is nicely hot but this time someone had put wayyy too much in.

It’s a shame the delivery took so long, however, we would 100% order from here again because the food was outstanding. The best Thai foood we have eaten.

Extremely poor service - the restaurant added 20 minutes on to my order even though i ordered it to be delivered in 2 hours! Then the food was another 25 minutes later than the additional time. Waiting 3 hours for luke warm tasteless food is not what i expected!!

I have used @thai on many occasions however a few weeks ago we had family over for a takeaway evening and decided on Thai. We called and the first thing they asked was does anyone have any allergies. I have celiac which means I can’t eat gluten. We told them this and they said that they were unable to take my order due to my allergy. Disgusting in this day and age they should be able to do this apart from the fact I have ordered from them before and have never had a problem. I am still considering reporting them to trading standards as I am sure this is not allowed to happen. They are basically discriminating against me due to my illness. Surely it’s my choice to order and decide if it’s ok and not there’s to simple say I can’t order from them because I have a illness.

Food tasted ok but didn't look very nice at all, the texture wasnt great either, noodles were mushy and veg didnt look very fresh at all. Wouldn't order again.

Great food, disappointing service. Ordered early evening (6.30pm) to be delivered at 8.00pm for when friends arrived for dinner. Food finally arrived 8.50pm, tasty but no hint of apology which was a shame.

Delicious food. Ordered on a busy Friday night and it arrived a bit late. First thing the delivery driver did was apologise for this. Would order from them again.

We order for two regularly throughout the year and on high days and holidays, e.g. Christmas Eve, when the children and grandchildren visit us we ban 'Gran' from the kitchen and get to order a greater selection of dishes than usual and they're all just as good
