Had my 40th birthday party in belfair bar last night, manager Sarah has been on hard to answer all my questions, amazing function room, and really nice friendly staff would definitely be going back. Thank you guys 😊

We had a 50th birthday party at The Belfairs bar. We decided to take over the whole place which was a great decision. You get the front bar area and the party room out the back. Sarah the manager was amazing from start to finish. Nothing was a problem and we were free to decorate the venue with balloons, banners and photos. All of the bar staff were friendly and quick at getting our drinks. Sarah also sorted out the DJ for us which took the pressure off. A brilliant night at a great venue

Had my daughter tillys 18th birthday party here on Friday absolutely fantastic night Sarah organised everything done a fantastic job Gemma and Charlotte were very friendly and attentive. Booked the function room and pub for my birthday party. Sarah was super helpful leading up to the event, putting me in touch with a balloon lady and sorting out the DJ. Quick to respond to any queries or questions I had. Gemma looked after the bar on the night, the evening went without a hitch, there were no problems with waiting to be served and they mixed a lovely gin cocktail ready to serve to guests. Went back the next day to collect all the balloons and decorations and Sarah and one of the other ladies had already started taking everything down for me, very appreciative of the help! Overall, a great venue, with great staff - would highly recommend! Thank you Sarah, Gemma and all xx

We held our daughters 21st there and it was a great small/medium venue. Sarah was helpful and the staff on the night were great. Special mention to Adam too who ran the cocktail bar brilliantly.

Had my parents surprise party here the weekend & we had such a great time. The function room was the perfect size & the lights looked brilliant. Sarah was really helpful through the whole booking process & Sarah, Tom & Charlotte were fantastic during the party. They couldn’t do enough for everyone, everything we asked for or needed we got. Would definitely recommend this venue & can’t wait for another reason to book a party here.

We had our wedding reception party here on Saturday… we visited venue when manager was there.. she was very helpful.. told us we could store our food in the cellar until it was time for the party, very friendly and said the bar staff would help us bring food out when we wanted it. Then we meet Sarah the event organiser.. what can I say… for starters .. rude. When we arrived with food to set up, made us feel like we shouldn’t be putting our food in the cellar. Then as we where setting tables up , she was telling us to move them out of the way. The fairy lights wasn’t working.. so we had to go and get batteries for them. Party started at 7.30, we was arriving at 7 as I told her. I get a message at 6.45 to tell me the internet wasn’t working so to bring cash and to tell guests! She then said food would be brought out at 8.. it wasn’t .. the lovely security guard who was working helped us. Shame really for the events manager, absolutely awful made us feel as tho we was in the way. Thank goodness for the bar staff and the security guard who was helpful and polite. Then I left some flowers there and was basically told I couldn’t go and pick them up, she would look Wednesday!! Such a disappointment. I feel as though she really lets the venue down. Sarah really needs to get some people skills Also I’ve been told the mens toilets smelt disgusting

Food was very poor value for the excessive bill we received. Children sized portions for adults - husband had to finish off kids burgers as still so hungry ... he's slim!

Had my daughter's Engagement party here on Saturday night. We had a great night. Function room was perfect. Staff amazing made the night perfect. Highly recommend

Had a great party here Saturday night, great hire rate and Sarah was happy to help me with any questions or queries from start to finish. Including recommendations on DJ and catering. I went to the venue here as an end of year party for my college. I left my drink to see my sister who was in the area came back finished that little bit of wine which was all I had. All of a sudden I came over really ill and couldn’t control my own body. I didn’t know where I was or what I was doing. I was stuck on the bathroom floor and the staff were absolutely diabolical. Instead of calling an ambulance they kicked me out instead. My friends tried to help me but they wouldn’t let them come near me. Was then rushed to A&E and luckily I was ok. The staff definitely have a lot to learn.

Atrocious staff with very bad.attitudes towards a private party held for 18 year old school leavers. You knew their ages & you should never have allowed them to book if you can’t deal with that age group!

Had a great time at the belfair last week at the wine and cheese night really friendly bar staff . Really welcoming bar maid. Would definitely come again.

Popped in for an after work beer, saw they served Thai street food (my favourite) so thought I’d give it a go. The menu was very short, so I went for the Thai red curry beef and egg fried rice. Well presented, generous portions and absolutely delicious! A lovely surprise and a great start to the weekend. Fantastic service too. Thank you!

Attended a party here last night. The bar itself was very nice and friendly place. We were out the back in the function room which was a lovely size and very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful which made our night even more enjoyable.

I was DJ here for a joint 12th birthday party. This bar was formerly Montys. When I arrived I was greeted by a really friendly helpful barmaid. The function room is at the rear of the bar, and it's a great size for a smaller intimate party. There was a small stage for me to set up on with plenty of power sockets. The party was fantastic! All guests enjoyed it. I would highly recommend The Belfair for private party hire. I also heard some great tunes being played on the bar in house system. A great place for a drink, and I can't recommend the staff highly enough. Thank you! Geoff Grove

I had my boyfriends 25th surprise birthday here at the weekend and everyone loved it. So happy with the venue and the girls that work there looked after me and helped me organise everything. Special Thank You to Sarah who was there to open up in the day and let us get set up. Thanks again, highly recommend :)

We had the best 30th party at The Belfair! A great space, room for a band and we were able to decorate it how we liked. The team are so lovely and helpful. Highly recomend as a venue and generally for a drink!

Thai beef salad was unreal! I asked for it hot, I got it hot, just how I like it. Prepared by a very kind Thai lady, this is as authentic as it comes! Large portion with rice, I gave a good tip as a dish of this quality and size would cost much more in a Thai restaurant. Definitely going back, good bar, nice people all round!

Had my dads retirement bash here on Saturday 28th august. All i can say is it went amazing. The girls looking after us Sarah,Jess and Charlotte where absolutely amazing and not one compliant on them or the venue. They made the night go without any complications. Many thanks to all you done us all proud. Would highly recommend this venue an amazing night and hassle free. Thanks again to the girls at the belfair bar.

We hired the private room for my Sisters hen party on Saturday 24th July. The owners and team were so relaxed and really helpful. Communication from the team from booking the venue and setting up were fantastic. We were able to go in early on the day and set up for the evening. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic venue and we had a brilliant time. If I need to hire a hall for any future parties, they will be my first port of call!!!

The service is excellent! Well located with space for events and also the famous happy hour.

I absolutely love their authentic Thai menu. I pick up a takeaway on a weekly basis, on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. If you do choose to eat in please be aware that at times the bar can be extremely busy so if you like a bit of peace and quiet make sure there is not a big match, music or sporting event on. The Thai chef, Tuy pronounced Two-Ey is now a great friend and I am always happy to take her advice on trying something new.I am very confident in recommending their extensive menu, service and value for money.

Fantastic venue for any special occasion. Had my birthday here and was fabulous, very accommodating and DJ played all our favourites via a playlist provided and some great choices of his own. Very reasonable and drinks are good prices too.

This is such a little gem of a bar which offers great food and entertainment throughout the week. Always have fantastic food, drink and entertainment offers on, so there is something for everyone. There is a pool table and a separate bar and venue in the back perfect for private parties and corporate events. Outside tables and seating in summer provides an opportunity for al fresco dining. It is now a regular haunt whether meeting up with friends for drinks or date night where we can sit and choose from an ever-growing menu of authentic Thai food prepared by in-house chef Tui.

Lovely people with a friendly attitude, nice bit of Thai food also. Been there before when run by previous management, did not like it, but do now and will return...

Thought when this place changed ownership things would improve . However still the same , loud groups out the front as usual which is certainly going to put off couples/ families , but they are obvs ok with that . It’s a Monday evening and same as ever loud music and people . Quite sad really that we have to have this in Leigh but despite changes of ownership over time still no different

Turned up here yesterday on a bit of a random thirst quenching mission, enjoyed a few cold beers outside then moved things inside and decided to get some food. The thai food in here is superb, its a must try for everyone. And a very good environment. Also has a pool table.

Had a couple of nights out here and The Belfair is going to become one of the top venues in the area for food, music and the social. I've also eaten here during the day - and the food, hand made and home cooked is amazing.. The Penang Curry is like fireworks on your tongue... In flavoury not firey way ..

Called into the Belfair bar by chance looking for a bite of lunch and so glad we did. It specialises in Thai food cooked authentically by a Thai lady and it is by far the best we have ever tasted. The bar has recently opened and the manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were also told that there is live music in the evening so we hope to get back there soon

The Belfair Bar is a fantastic addition to an otherwise boring area. Great music, great drinks, great staff. Could not speak higher of the venue and wish that the Belfair has utmost success and carries on being at the heart of the social community.

Went for a few drinks. Couldn't hear myself think. Music so loud it was painful. Three rounds. Identical drinks, three different prices for each round. It's the old Montys Bar. Same old clientele, same old problems. I'll avoid from now on. It's still a magnet for Jeremy Kyle guests. 👎

Have just experienced the most delightful authentic Thai meal at The Belfair. The flavours of the food were second to none at affordable prices. In addition to the fantastic food, the 2 for 1 cocktails served in happy hour were really nice. The ambience too was great with good music. Wishing Jay & Tuy every success in their new venture. You deserve to do well with The Belfair - ชั้นนอก.

Looking forward to a brand new bar in the area.
