We had a takeaway from this place, and it was a worse thai takeaway ever...

The security was absolutely horrible inside, a bald headed security man was on a complete power trip shouting at people and being absolutely rude. Disgusting behaviour.

I had travelled a distance to dine at Thai Taste Lounge with a few friends. I was blown away by the authentic great food served. The atmosphere and the cocktails were out of the world. I would definitely come back here.

The worst bar tender I’ve ever experienced is apparently the manager of this place. Worst experience of my entire life. Tried to charge me £42 for 2 drinks and when I said I wasn’t paying that he threw a strop and spent the rest of the night giving me daggers. I told him I’m not paying £42 for two drinks and he was fuming. When my friend went to the bar and ordered the exact same drinks it came to £21. Make it make sense. Awful service and an awful place. If you’re after a half decent time go anywhere else but here

What can I say about this restaurant but a joy to find it.from the entrance which has character and charm ,to the drinks lounge area which is stylish. To the upstairs restaurant that is atmospheric. The staff all very knowledgeable the food a masterpiece of flavours. I will be going back for sure.

Fabulous! Really buzzing, adorable venue with lots of twists and turns. Quirky. Whoever designed the interior is a very clever person. There's a lounge bar that was heaving when we left! Cocktails and party atmosphere in there. The meal was excellent value, and the starters were tasty. Not the best Pad Thai, still good, but each to their own. Too sweet for my pallet. Cindy, our server was an absolute star. Friendly, professional, and was more than happy to answer questions. Such a gem x All in all, 10/10. Check out the acoustic panels!

All roads leads to Thai Taste lounge, authentic Thai cuisine. Visited twice fails to amaze me. From the ambience, service and quality of food this restaurant deserves five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Expensive but taste is just average The whole environment is not very authentic, they serve the rice with a Japanese miso bowl, which is quite wired The lemongrass salad tastes more like Vietnam cuisine The staffs are nice and service was good, just the food is not value for that money

Good food, nice and spicy and flavoured, atmosphere a bit off when not fully booked, strange downstairs cocktail bar was empty on Thursday evening. Would visit again - nice people.

I Went back to this restaurant again with some friends this weekend, what can I say such brilliant and friendly staff and the food is always amazing. Went to the lounge aftwards for a drink and as it was a Saturday night it was lively but it was great night, the DJ there is so good, forgot how much fun we can have here. So lucky its on our highstreet. Will defo be back again. Sooner than later this time lol. Thanks again 5 Stars

Bad experience from start to finish, Bar staff grumpy, food was not hot, if you want prawn crackers you have to pay for them !! No mixed h’ordevers have to order separate, food just slipped in bowls, asked for a coffee at end of meal and was told they had run out ? We have used and recommended this restaurant lots of times in the past when it was Regional Thai, and service food was exceptional nothing like our experience yesterday will never go again and will tell our friends, Do NOT eat there find another Thai restaurant where you get proper service, we booked here for my husbands birthday as he loves Thai but it was awful Very disappointed Mrs S Chambers Visited on 3rd Feb 2024 7pm

There is something truly special about this restaurant. All of the staff are attentive and polite. The food is always great. The cocktails amazing. I would highly recommend. Brilliant.

Always nice food and friendly team. Mostly been to the bar and had snacks / starters and they're always good. Bar always good, Jon, Sam and Gareth plus the ladies I've seen always a good chat!

Quirky upstairs setting with exposed beams of old Victorian building (mind your head🙂). Great dishes. Went for Thai Green Curry. Didn't disappoint.

Went here for lunch with some friends, and had an amazing meal! I had Sea Bass Panang and the Squid to start, both of which were delicious. The service was also very welcoming and friendly 🙂

Very tasty food rich of flavours with affordable price served by the most friendly host ! Highly recommended for perfect night out! A combinations of tasty food in the restaurant followed by a good variation of different cocktails at the bar accompanied with best music from the local DJ ! makes it a night to remember 👌🏼

Not been there for a few years and thought it would be a treat to go back. What a disappointment! And that's putting it mildly. Downstairs bar has become a tacky, cheap wannabe cocktail bar and upstairs, the noise was unbelievable! We had to shout to each other and it was not a pleasant experience. Too many tables crammed together for maximum profit. However the food was good. But not good enough to go back. Never again.

Food OK, not as good as it used to be, unfortunately they seem to be cooking much less from scratch, and have a greater focus on cocktails, which is fine if you are out for a meal and want to go to the bar downstairs afterwards. Service good. Music a bit odd.

Absolutely excellent restaurant! The food was delicious and so tasty. Staff are wonderful and are happy to accommodate requests for dishes to be different spice levels than normally made. They looked after us wonderfully. We would 100% return to them! Highly recommended

The service and food are very good at this venue. The big downside is that as it’s on the High Street, it’s very noisy from motorbike traffic and emergency services. Great for a meet up with friends but not so great if you’re looking for a quiet meal or romantic one.

Absolutely the best Thai food in Reigate, probably even the area. Blink and you'll miss the entrance to the restaurant though (a tiny little alleyway next to Boots.) Everything about the place is lovely, but the food, well, it's a different level to other Thai food in Reigate.

we went last weeks. the starter of fishcakes was very small for the price. mains were a better portion but charging extra for rice really pushed the price up, at £47.50 it was a lot for average food.

Lovely venue with great atmosphere, food was amazing, fresh rich flavours will definitely be returning to dine again.

The food, what we ate, was really tasty. I had the duck spring rolls X4. The staff were very attentive, but, the level of noise in the upstairs of the restaurant was awful, (politely putting it!) It was just ridiculous. Close together tables. We could not hear each just across the table. It was not a relaxing experience at all, shouting at your friend you're trying to catch up with! Most definitely will not be going back, and will be telling everyone I know! Horrible! We didn't even stay for our mains to come out, we couldn't stand the level of noise 😪😪😪

Love this place! The lunch set menu is amazing value for money (£11.95 for starter and main), and the food was so good. The waitress was really friendly and even gave us a free sample of a starter they're testing out for the set menu which was really tasty. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic food, service was excellent a big thank you to Deborah for making sure everything went smoothly especially with a group of 28 as it's not easy and to Millie for looking after us so well on the night. The cocktails, music and atmosphere in the Lounge bar was also great and reserving a space for us was brilliant. We all had a fabulous time and will be back very soon!

Sat upstairs for dinner and enjoyed fantastic food and absolutely delicious cocktails! Staff were lovely as well, despite being very busy Would recommend avoiding busy times as the upstairs gets very loud. Large groups/families with children means the volume goes way up and, with quite an echoey room, you might leave with a bit of a headache!

OMG. I really did not know this place was in Reigate it's a hidden gem 100% The food was amazing panang fish curry and I also found out they have a cocktail bar which I will be coming too now most weekends. Thanks to Thita and Sam for your great customer service.

Stumbled across this place by accident after finding Giggling Squid fully booked on a Saturday night. Initially there were no tables available but owner couldn’t have been more helpful and soon sorted us out. No hardship having a drink in the lounge area while we waited (will certainly return in the week for happy hour). Food excellent and reasonably priced . Very busy so had a short wait to be served but food then arrived promptly. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Hidden away entrance on the side of the building which leads to the reception area and bar. Upstairs is where the bulk of the seating is, but beware of the low ceiling when going up the stairs. Open and bright dinning room with its own bar upstairs. The service was reasonably fast considering we were a large group. Small selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. They also do mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails). They do a set menu if you'd prefer to save some money, or you can order alacarte. Overall, a pleasant experience and I'd certainly visit again. I'd recommend the salter and pepper squid for a starter

Visited on a Thursday night which was booked up in the morning, so had to settle for 18:00 dinner. The restaurant is upstairs, vibe is nothing special. When we arrived there were only 2 other guests, yet it took over 15 mins to take our order. Food arrived fairly quickly, however it was difficult to get the attention of anyone while there, this got worse as the restaurant got busier. The starter of fried salt and pepper squid was tasty with some kick. The pad thai somewhat lacked much taste. It was a generous portion size. Struggle to order dessert, the mango sticky rice, the mango was not very ripe. Overall food is average, decent selection of drinks, service very slow on a busy night.

Fantastic Thai food with lovely, friendly service at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is large and would be good for bigger groups. Service is fast, friendly and fun. The food is really good. Everything tasted great, not very heavy or overly salty. Highly recommend

The Best Thai Restaurant in Reigate

Was so disappointed when Regional left Cheam Village, so eager to try the Reigate version, didn't let me down one bit. Delightful ambience and the usual cracking menu, would be perfectly happy with just a whole meal of starters. Some lovely mocktails to boot, love it!

We haven’t been here for a couple of years, how the place has gone downhill. The food taste all the Same and the service is next to nothing. This place lets Reigate down, it’s awful.

Atmosphere was good, the dining room is quite intimate so you get served almost immediately. My boyfriend and I both had a Duck Spring Roll for starter and a Red Thai Curry each. Food was a bit too sweet for my liking but that is just my personal taste, nothing wrong with the food. Tried to get into the lounge bar but there was a private party at the time.

Very nice tasty food full of flavour. Good selection of dishes. Quick service, maybe because we were only given 1hour 30 min to stay. Restaurant is set off high street next to Boots with nice interior design. Has happy hour on selected drinks Saturday evening. Music with live DJ Saturday evening. Didn't stay to hear that so cant comment. Prices high and they add service charge 10%.

Great staff and lovely tasty meal, although, whilst not too salty, I could detect a fair bit of salt. Portion sizes could be better, (a lot of rice to fill you up) and prices are a bit expensive. That said, I would be happy to return and recommend to others, I just don't like the "discretionary tip" being in small print on the receipt and expected. I asked for this to be removed as I prefer to tip cash, afterall, it is discretionary.

Great place friendly staff and excellent food. The lounge bar is cosy and friendly with a great DJ on the weekends. I enjoyed it all. Thanks regional Thai taste, I will come again.

Overall it was a lovely gastronomic experience and tasty too...just starters quite expensive and a very small amount..the mains were reasonable portions . Friendly staff and they have 10% service charge..

I called at about 12pm to book a table for that evening and the staff were very helpful although they only had a couple of tables left. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. The food and drinks didn't take long to come out and it was all delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Came here for a family pre Christmas dinner, sorry to say that the food is not as good as on previous occasions. The beef massaman really chewy and chicken green curry rubbery. I guess this is normal for a Christmas meal. Disappointed.

Can’t thank you enough for a wonderful evening on Saturday the 13th of November. We had a party of 8 friends and you’re service was excellent. From the moment we sat down we were made very welcome, drinks were poured for us, food service was delivered with a smile . Thai food is my absolute favourite, but this just fall short in so many ways. The food was okay, but the room is tired, so noisy and absolute no atmosphere of being in a Thai restaurant. However the staff that served us were lovely.

Wow, what a great hidden gem. I was blown away with the Phad Thai..got to be one of the best I've ever tasted. And I've had a few. this chef is phenomenal..10/10..

Very fresh, clean, modern feel. Friendly and helpful staff. Hand sanitiser on every table, which is good. Possibly the only downside is, much like Pizza Express restaurants, too many hard surfaces makes for a very noisy environment - that's the only reason I've given four stars. Currently, there's fewer tables spread apart and it was pretty noisy, so I can't imagine what it's like when back to normal and packed. Food, however, was excellent, literally can't fault it, from presentation to quantity to taste. Will definitely be returning, maybe with ear plugs ;-)

Worst Thai I have ever tasted! Thick battered prawns which looked huge but there was a tiny prawn and mostly just batter! Overcooked dry chicken satay and inedible noodles horrible texture. Will be using river Kwai in the future

Lovely little Thai restaurant tucked away on Reigate high street. Flavoursome dishes at reasonable prices. It's our favourite local Thai.

The food is beyond amazing, The service is even better and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. Will definately be a returning customer. Vas behind the bar is very friendly and makes a killer cocktail 🤙🏻

Eaten at this restaurant a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ordered through Deliveroo this evening for a little celebratory dinner with my partner, and boy did these guys let themselves down. Of the 4 dishes that we ordered, 3 arrived damaged. The Pad Thai was so stuffed with noodles, that the lid couldn’t shut. The Panang lid had come off in transit and so we were passed a delivery bag of soup. The lid for the Salt & Pepper squid had a crack right across the middle. The first reaction of the staff - blame the Deliveroo driver. Really?!? I wasn’t looking to apportion blame - we just called to get a new meal delivered because this one was floating around in a plastic bag and that’s simply not good enough. Perhaps the phone and kitchen staff hate the management, because way it was delivered and the telephone manner, suggest a sabotage. They dismissed our first call. Required second call back. They agreed to do us another meal, so long as we brought everything back (even though we’ve already sent 6 Crystal clear photos of the bag in the sink). Now this joker, wants us to drive a bag of chicken liquid, back to his restaurant?!? Is he completely mad?! So I’m now two glasses of wine in to my celebration evening, being asked to drive a bag of spilt dinner back to the restaurant!! Jokers. Now that I’m stabbing through the Pad Thai while I write this, there’s 1 prawn in that overflowing mess. Properly cheaper out. Really angry with Regional Thai. Seriously let yourselves down.

Wow what a lovely Thai curry,I had red chicken curry and my wife had prawn green curry. Well worth a visit.

Came here for the first time a little while ago with my partner. We had a lovely meal and cocktails. We shared a mixed of things and tried to try as much as possible. Really enjoyed it, food was delicious and the staff were lovely.
