Service and the meal was lovely

Enjoyed the experience and the delicious food. Parking is a bit of a challenge unless you park in a paid parking lot which is not nearby...

I had the chilli lamb and it was great with some sticky rice. The rest of my crew (actually crew, not "street gang tings") all loved their food as well. Oh, and the waitress in there is stunning.

Thai Square is my regular spot when staying in St Albans. The food is always great and Ken and the team are always super welcoming.

Booked online and Thai Square could not find our booking. We were sat at a table near the toilet and by a drafty cold corridor so no ambiance. Tables and chairs were rearranged noisily while we ate. Chicken satay was not heated properly And Sweet and sour chicken was raw in parts. Certainly will not be going back- fortunately lots of other lovely restaurants nearby.

The lamb was well off. Gave my American friend food poisoning for 2 days. Ruining her stay. Using artificial sweetners in the rice is a severe You Just Do Not Do!! Cancer risk and brain damage risk

Visiting from Texas and this place was fantastic! Service was great and the food was really, really incredible! As a large group we had different curries, lamb, pad Thai, and different starters. The Thai dumplings and duck spring rolls were excellent starters. Panaang curry and red curry both delicious! We all loved everything. Highly recommend!!

Old British house, jazz music, Thai food. Odd combination but ticks all my boxes! Ken and then team are running a great restaurant here and I will be back frequently.

There was chicken in our Vegan Tofu Phad Tai meals. Will not be eating here again.

We had a wonderful dining experience! I highly recommend the Lamb Massaman Curry. The staff were friendly with special mention to Ken who was polite, friendly and attentive. Despite the business of the evening, he took the time to converse with each diner he was serving. We loved the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated that there was no background music which made it easy to converse with others.

Lovely place to eat out as we have been here numerous number of times. Setting in a historic building but the food has never fail to impress us. Always have Thai tea as my favourite. People tend not to review when they leave a place and feel happy but mainly review when they have something to moan about. A shoutout from a Vietnamese 🇻🇳 customer and thank you Ken and the team for the lovely evening

Delivery via Deliveroo- Food quality has been a hit and miss lately. Some times is ok, some times too salty, some times the rice is dry and hard, sometimes the recipient is filled in more other barely reaches half the capacity. The experience is fairly inconsistent. May be different when you go to the restaurant

The food was divine, I love this venue. The only thing missing was that there didn't seem to be enough staff, so the table service was a little inattentive, but still okay.

Amazing customer service yet again in Thai Square! I love this place & came for my mums birthday, where they gave a complimentary brownie and sang happy birthday. Best Thai green curry & pad thai & Thai milk tea in this country!!! Would definitely recommend the food, it’s my regular Thai ❤️

The Thai square experience is like no other!!! The food never disappoints, I could eat their green curry for days and days. Great meal at Thai Square St Albans. We were there for 5:30 on a Tuesday hence the 4 start atmosphere but it did get busier by 7pm. Ken the manager was excellent and the food great as usual. Highly recommend

My friends and I (we're Vietnamese) had a lovely lunch at the restaurant this afternoon. The waiter, Ken, was fantastic! He greeted us warmly and provided excellent service throughout the meal. He was very professional and attentive. The food was delicious overall. Just a heads up for my fellow Vietnamese friends, the soups might be a touch saltier than what we're used to at home. However, everything else was perfect.

Ken & his team were incredibly welcoming & friendly. The food was absolutely delicious - the speciality mushroom Tom yum soup was a highlight, as well as the beef drunken noodles. The listed building with its huge fireplaces & beamed ceilings is really fabulous. We were a group, celebrating my 50th birthday & Ken made sure we were all very well looked after. A lovely touch, warm chocolate birthday cake - thank you. I’m already planning my next visit!!

Delicious food, friendly service, Ken should have his own stand-up show. It was our first visit, but Thai Square has now become our favourite Thai place to visit.
