Lovely food and lovely service from Peachy!

Unprofessional and unapologetic. My friend who is coeliac had 2 email exchanges and a phone conversation regarding our booking for a party of 5, as she needed to check whether they could accommodate her. She was reassured, and confirmed the booking. We arrived at 19.30 to find there was no record of the booking. We were seated and asked for a couple more minutes to decide on drinks, That was the last we saw of any member of staff at our table. My friend went to speak to find a member of staff to try and sort out what happened with the booking. No-one had any knowledge of it, despite being shown the emails, and seemed to have no idea about gluten free or coeliac needs re separate food prep areas etc. There seemed to be only 2 members of front of house staff dealing with quite a few tables. We decided after 20 minutes of no service to go over the road to Pho, where we got the usual cheerful and efficient service and decent food. Luckily we knew Pho, where the menu is 97% gluten free, but in other circumstances this could have meant not finding somewhere our friend could eat. None of us will eat at a Thai Square in future.. Really poor.

Not a bad Thai Restaurant on Islington High Street. Food is quite nice, nothing special but fine👍 The Layout is nice, the Service was average, we visited on a Thursday evening, it was quiet (which was good) but the Service was slow and error prone (wrong Food Orders 🫤) Overall worth a visit if you want a quick Thai Meal 👍

Everything was delicious. The Mango juice, passion fruit, grenadine (tropical lust) was so nice. I also had the fresh ginger tea and I ate the shredded ginger. 🤭😁😜 The Thai Royal (Mekhong) is 💯

We have to ask for the early bird menu, this was not given with the regular menu. We were close to walking out as we entered because of the early bird menu

Such a disappointment. I’d always heard of Thai Square being a good upscale Thai chain so was happy to give it a try for dinner after a conference. Wow. Not good. Service was nonexistent. Had to flag down to order and get up to find someone to pay the bill. Dumplings were stodgy with a very thick dipping sauce. The ‘hangover beef’ which was just what they called their nam tok beef was so sour as to be inedible. At £19 it was not well priced. And the pad Thai was too. sweet. Again the sauce was oddly thick. Chang beer at £5 was borderline flat and overpriced. As we were leaving the group next to us complained about not having service either. Definitely won’t be back. Glad we were paying as it went on an expense account. If it was out of my pocket they’d get 2 stars.

I brought my cousin here to celebrate her engagement. Calm atmosphere, attentive staff, great food . Lovely experience overall.

We visited Thai Square after a long walk along Regents Canal. We were very hungry and Thai Square did not disappoint. We had the lunch time menu with mixed starters, soup and a main course. All three courses were delicious. I thought the prices were quite reasonable considering everywhere is very expensive these days. I love Thai food and don't eat enough of it, so it was wonderful to find a Thai restaurant which lived up to expectations. The restaurant decor is also very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Food was good . But rushed out quickly. If they are open until 10. I don't expect tables to be swept around whilst I am eating... bad form .

Worst Restaurant ever, waiting time is more then 50 minutes which is worse ever i’ve seen.

Amazing place! Food and service was amazing, the young gentleman who served us was really good! And so was Parn! She was very lovely ! Would definitely recommend coming here - anyone who comes here should try the salt and pepper squid starters! Absolutely divine!

We had an amazing waitress called Lilly , the service was fantastic. The food was absolutely spot on. You must try the duck spring rolls and the vegetable tempura. The massaman curry was phenomenal. You must come and try it all. A DEFINITE MUST!!!

Overall the food was ok, the beef was very chewy and very well done, the coconut rice was pretty bland and the noodles were ok. The prawns special dish was pretty good and the dumplings for starters had really hard nuts or something on them which were too hard to chew. Overall I don’t think I’d visit again

The pad Thai is great! The coconut chicken soup is okay. I guess you just need to pick the right dishes. Dream provided excellent service, really appreciate it thank you!

We arrived today at 8.50 PM and could not eat anymore, because we could only order until 9 PM and we would have to wait very long for our food. We told them that that would be O.K. for us, but they told us that we could but eat. Extremely bad service. We won’t go back.

The look is the only nice thing here, I didn’t even want to pay, but paid anyway out of respect, it’ was not nice and a total rip off. The egg noodles had gooey Chicken and wasn’t appetising. The chicken dumplings had no chicken in it and was just soft squished up flour baked. I didn’t enjoy it at all, I didn’t even eat I left my plate after a few bites and then paid for something I didn’t even eat. Absolutely nasty I won’t be coming again

Service left alot to be desired as the resturant was not busy they sere very slow with the main and showing us the dessert menu Not impressed with the when I got home to find a optional service charge which I was not told was on the bill

Very good service: professional, speedy and particularly friendly. Food and flavours are average. Exactly what you expect without surpassing any expectations. A special note on the lamb shank phanang curry, that dish was really good and highly recommended and something I had not seen before in a Thai restaurant. If you are in Angel and want to try something new maybe this is a decent option. We went mid-week during the holiday season so the venue was a bit empty. Can't really make many comments on the atmosphere as I appreciate we did not go at the best time.

We visited Thai Square Islington by chance: we were looking for somewhere for dinner, didn't have a reservation and Thai Square looked good from the outside. We were greeted promptly and in a friendly way, and offered a choice of a few tables. Our waiter, Ohm, was attentive, friendly and got everything right. The service was speedy and the food was delicious! Particularly, the vegetarian Pad Thai and vegetarian spring rolls were really nice. There was background music, but in my opinion was just the right level - not too noisy. Would absolutely visit again.

Turned up without reserving table. Received a warm welcome from restaurant staff. A quiet place, though there were many customers, the food and cocktails were delicious, as I have become accustomed too, having previously eaten here many times before.

The only reason for 4 stars was we realised the table was sticky, not cleaned properly, and the hand cream in the ladies toilets needed to be refilled. Apart from this the food was delicious and filling. I would recommend going

Lovely food especially the Caramel Chicken. Lychee cocktail was also really good. Services was quick and staff very nice and friendly.

Great spot for Thai food, Peachy was our waitress and took great care of us. Upscale environment that's my go-to for last minute plans, there's no usually a wait without a reservation

Food always tastes fresh and it all comes at a very reasonable price.

The food tasted pretty average and the portion sizes were quite small. The prices are on the more expensive side, as they charged £9 for a small omelette and the bill came to £32/person. Hygiene standards also need improvement as the waiter gave us empty plates with his fingers touching the middle of the plates.

Food is amazing here I love the lamb shank panang curry - however service is not great, they never brought things on our order, took forever to get the bill and we felt very forgotten about.

Thai Square in Angel never fails to impress with deliciously authentic cooking, flawless friendly service and a nice atmosphere amidst minimalist warm decor and nicely spaced tables so it never feels crowded, noisy or rushed. We loved the Chu Chi jumbo prawns and new Hangover Beef dishes in particular but all the classics are also great!

very good cuisine and dining environment

I feel really let down by Thai Square. The food used to be good and authentic but its gone downhill. We ordered the mix starters yesterday (battered prawn, spring roll) and it tasted like they threw in the oven a box of iceland starters - taste was awful. The prawn and scallop main lacked flavour and the sauce was too watery. Staff and ambience were good but go somewhere else if you want good food. Our bill was over £150 inc cocktails and I feel robbed. I do not recommend.

A hum dinger of a Thai restaurant. O.M.G the duck red curry is to x-x for! So delicious. So good. So tasty 😋 ... Great service by a fine waiter who goes by the name of Ohm. Ohm to joy!

Went with my partner for a quick lunch, and the food was great! Peachy has taken a great care of us. Salt and pepper Tofu appetiser was incredible, definitely going again.

Really nice meal. Service from Peachy was excellent and attentive. Food was generally good - could do with being a bit warmer. For the price point would expect more attention to detail such as providing serving spoons but would come back

The service was excellent and everyone could not have been more helpful. The food came quickly and was delicious. A varied menu with a few surprises such as Drunken Duck - delicious. It was my birthday and a lovely brownie and I’ve cream with a candle appeared as a surprise birthday cake. Really lovely. Would recommend.
