The Thai Beef was tough and chewy not very pleasant to eat, same with the pad Thai tough meat. Enjoyed the chicken Penang curry. Would not go back again 🤣

Lock down takeaway and one has to make allowances for travel of food but there are limits, Tom yum soup was awful, spicy hot but no aromatic herbs, very salty, thin and the prawns like rubber bullets. If that is authentic I am a applying for Masterchef next season. The beef salad was nothing more than raw onion, beef so overdone it was like chewing on a Pirelli, a bit of cucumber and tomato, again very hot with chilli (a good thing) but no other flavours. Most of the meal went in the bin and it is not best pleased. Neither is my wallet....or pallet

Deliveroo good service. Food varied compared to other Thai takeaways in Harrow. Dumplings tasty and moist. Main courses Thai like however the noodles stuck together in a lump not separate as other takeaways make which preferred and food a bit greasy as others mentioned. Worth a try though but we would order from other Thai restaurants or takeaways as pricey also.

Do not order from here! My order was given to a random member of my block of flats, not my household! This person left the food down stairs. When I tried to complain to them the did not take my calls! With the virus at the moment you would think that they would be extra careful about who they give the food to!

Thai on the Hill is small inside and on the occasion we visited it was empty apart from the takeaway drivers coming in and out. This gave way for the lady owner frequently coming over to talk to us. The food was good sized portions but mixed reviews. The noodles were very greasy so not appetising with limited prawns, however the curry was nice. As we were the only customers it was also disappointing that we got charged for a hot water drink. Has potential to be great, however missed the mark this time.

I decided to try this thai place in harrow. It's a cosy restaurant with a few tables. When I arrived for dinner, I was the only patron on a quiet Sunday evening. The pad thai was a bit on the sweet side. The chicken satay was ok but the sauce was too cold to my liking.

Firstly, the staff and food are excellent, I'd recommend it over most restaurants in Harrow if you like Thai food. We've been going here since it opened but now do more take away than sitting in due to the constant visits from the bikers working for Just Eat, Deliveroo etc, the door is a constant open and closing merry go round. It's great for the business though. It's a shame there is no back entrance. I'd recommend sitting on the right hand side if you can as the cold air wafts in during the colder months as the door opens.

Five of us went as we were visiting friends nearby, and at first it didn't bode well. The place was dark when we turned up, although we were only a little before opening time, and the place was a bit cold when we did get in. The restaurant is small and simple, but the food more than made up for it. This is good and authentic Thai food, and we all had a great time. The staff were also lovely and we all left smiling at each other having had a lovely evening. It just shows that appearances can be deceptive.

Went there with a friend on Saturday two minutes before closing - our mistake, we didn’t look at the time - but still they took us inside with a smile. Both of us were vegan and the waitress informed us of what we could and couldn’t eat. She did an excellent job. I’ll definitely come back again.

I had the pad thai with chicken and the rendang curry with coconut rice. Both were delicious and I was so impressed with the quality of cuts used for the chicken in both dishes. This will be a new regular for me as I live around the corner. Both dishes cost around 8-9£ which is a bargain considering I usually have to go into London and pay a fortune for decent Thai food. This restaurant is a hidden gem.

Came in on a Saturday at short notice and was lucky enough to grab a table. It was busy which is usually a good sign!!The wine list wasn’t great and the house wine is Jacobs creek which was ok but the food was really good. Satay chicken, dumplings, crackers and dim sum to start were fab. Mains of weeping tiger steak and the massaman with rice also good.We kept being pushed to order mains as they said they get busy with takeaway orders. We like to order starters and then order mains based on how hungry we are so this was a little annoying. Surely a restaurant would prioritise it’s guests sitting in?? The wait time was actually fine so it wasn’t an issue. The meal for 2 with with was £59 which was so reasonable for the food quality.

The food was amazing. Ordered a take out a week ago and the food was amazing so decided to go there with friends. The food was brilliant. However the only thing that brings the place down is the waitress... she is Chinese and absolutely rude. No idea how to manage a restaurant. I am not even sure how she is being tolerated by the owner. Started educating me on food and I was so annoyed with her that she almost spilt the whole experience. However having said that that the Food made up for it. I rather order take out than deal with this woman..

Excellent food and very pleasant service. We had the mixed starter and for main course 6 different dishes all of which were very tasty and beautifully presented. The Panang chicken curry was wonderful and also had seared ducks breast, stir fried vegetables in oyster sauce, coconut rice, pad thai with prawns and the sweet and sour fish. Far too much for the three of us but we managed to struggle though most of it.

Ordered online via HungryHouse and food arrived after 2 hours 20 mins so we were starving. We ordered the beef and duck noodle dishes and steamed dumplings. Food was naturally cold so had to be re- heat in microwave it was awful all stuck together and tasteless. Dumplings had way too much ginger in them and the beef was chewy and obviously cheap meat and there was hardly any duck in the duck dish. I usually order from Coopers in Wealdstone and now will continue. Please don't order from here. Spoke to a lady at the restaurant to find out why there was a delay and she said they were far too busy on a Saturday nite for take aways- so why bother being on the take away site Hungry House

I was pretty disapointed with my meal. Its a shame as it could be lovely. Tinned vegetables, generic sauces - much pre-prepared. The Massiman was very poor. Very very sweet, no tang. The Soup was good as was the beef salad. The duck was awful. More freshness, update the recipies and the menu and a bit more care with service. It could be fantastic. My third visit - a small cafe sized venue, which feels authentic, with its shrine behind the counter. Service very friendly and the Land of Smiles traditional image perfectly exhibited. The host's outward going manner nicely balanced by her son's shy courtesy (he helps out when not at Uni) - the family 'feel' very nice. Steamed dumplings, chilli fish and the pad thais all stand out as excellent.A party of young women were screeching and were told firmly to lessen the noise because of other diners (an approach needed more).Thai on the Hill is in a dreary, nondescript part of Harrow so I do hope it continues to do well. It's worth seeking out!

We have tried this place 3 times now and find it to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Harrow, from when the Penom Thai closed down we were stuck for somewhere that could match the quality of their food. Thai on the Hill seems to have fulfilled this in all aspects. Good value for money and great service where management are hands on in making you feel welcome. Totally recommend this restaurant.Favourite dish is the mixed starter for two extremely tasty especially the chicken satay cooked to perfection.

Now my previous review of another Thai place in harrow , I might has said the same thing- however I can now confirm this place is better. This restaurant actually replaces a Vietnamese place I used to go to- but I can safely say that I am glad Thai on the hill has replaced it.Food is always spot on and the lady who I think owns it is always very friendly. It isn't quite the same as eating a pad Thai on the streets of Bangkok, but it is as good as you will get in London. I have seen there are a few reviews about late deliveries and cold food. Cannot comment of this as I prefer picking it up myself or eating in.

My order took two hours to arrive and was cold when it did. I phoned the restaurant and they couldn't tell me where my order was or when it would arrive, just that they were busy with zero apology. Complained that my food was cold so they came and picked it up to refund me. They then said they would only refund me £6 out of my £18 of my order because I had tried some. Because I have now left a negative review on JustEat they're refusing to refund me anything, so they have effectively robbed me of £20. Really disgusting customer service, and not great food either.

Ordered on a Sunday evening for delivery so wasn't expecting it to take too long. Just Eat advised the order would be an hour or less. An hour and a half and it had not arrived so I phoned the restaurant to see what was happening. The woman on the phone didn't have a clue whether my order had left the kitchen, if it was on it's way or how much longer it would be. No apology at all, just kept telling me they were busy.Eventually, Over two hours after ordering, it shows up. My food is freezing cold. I had been waiting for two hours so I decided to try to eat it anyway. I gave up and phoned the restaurant who then said they would only refund one item from my £17.90 order, giving me back just £4.50. They also suggested I should just microwave the food, and again no apology. I asked for s higher refund and was told it was £4.50 or they would come and collect the food from me in order to give me a full refund. I told her I had eaten a small amount and she told me to leave it and the driver would collect it. It took another full hour for him to collect the order. I then had an email from Just Eat to say they had refused to refund the order as 'half' of the order had been eaten, which is a complete lie. So out of my order of £17.90 I have been refunded only £6.75 and therefore charged £11.50 for the benefit of two mini spring rolls and one chicken satay stick, both of which were freezing cold and arrived two hours after I ordered them. Absolutely disgusting customer service from the restaurant and day light robbery, keeping my money for terrible food that I didn't eat. Needless to say I won't be eating here again. I will continue to speak to the restaurant until I get my full refund.

Just been to this restaurant as we were in the area so I quickly looked up for good restaurants in Harrow on trip advisor and this Thai restaurant came up with some excellent reviews! What can I say... little bit disappointed! For my starters I ordered prawn tempura was just average in taste but for my mains I received frozen batter fried fish whereas I was expecting fresh fish with authentic sweet and sour sauce. It seemed like I ordered a take away from a fast food restaurant. However My husband enjoyed his starter of coconut and mushroom soup but the prawn jungle curry was too spicy for him. I am surprised how people rated it so high! May be we didn't order the right dishes but I am not going back there again! To be honest when we called them for booking a table for 2 at 8pm they made a fuss by saying they were so busy and could only give us a table at 8:30 but when we arrived by 8:15 there was only one family of 4 having their food and the whole restaurant was empty. We probably spent an hour there and still it was only 2 of us donning.... now we know why. Lolz

My wife and I have driven past this restaurant several times in the last few months and took the opportunity to pop in for a casual mid week meal. The restaurant has a very simple and clean layout, I'd describe it as "cosy" small and suitable for those days when you just want to hunker down on some good thai food without the need to dress up or make it an occasion. We opted for the pork dumplings for starters which were pretty good, the sauce/dressing was particularly tasty. The mains were also very tasty albeit the stir fried vegetables where a little underdone which made the green beans tough to get through. We will certainly be back again and would use it's take away services regularly.
