Thai Jasmine Restaurant in Purbeck

We had an absolutely delicious takeaway from Thai Jasmine, the red and green curries were both excellent.

We tried a number of items from the menu recently. One or two were not to our taste, but generally the food was very good and flavoursome.

Excellent Thai food which you will find hard to beat...and lovely people. What more do I need to say, except give it a try.

Had a good meal, good service very friendly, mixed starter at nearly £9 for one was a rip off, it's tiny.

Such a lovely place. With lovely people. The food was AMAZING. My husband said it was the best meal he’d ever eaten! Lol. They were friendly. Accommodating. Child friendly in the sense that she asked what my kids would like in terms of spices. Plenty of room and really chilled. Lovely Thai music. Clean. Tidy. The food tasted amazing. The mixes of flavours and vegetables and sauces. Best Thai I’ve ever had. Reasonably priced too. Couldn’t fault a thing! Would go back again if in the area. Perfect. 10/10. X

Had tempura veg and pork dumplings, duck with ginger and beef panang. Was worth every penny. Super tasty and quick friendly service.

The smallest portion of spare ribs ever. Chicken & ginger main was pretty tasteless and had very little ginger. Thai green curry was ok but the chicken was rubbery. Not the best take away we've had unfortunately but the yoing guy who served us was very pleasant and polite.

Quite an old fashioned feel to the place. Food was nothing special but tasted good and piping hot. Service was very quick.

We got a last minute booking for dinner which was lucky. The restaurant is small but comfortable. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Wine by the glass is fairly cheap so best to avoid if you like a good wine! However, food was delicious. Prawn and brocolli and a masamam curry were really good. We loved all of it, tasty, decent portions and excellent service. 100% recommend. The only small downside was that a large group arrived with children. No problem except that the toddler had a device to watch(good idea) but without headphones(awful idea). Had we just arrived I would have asked the staff to tell the family that the sound should not be on. I didn't want to listen to children's TV so it should be made clear this is not acceptable. We paid and left promptly to avoid this but the staff should have spoken to them.

Lovely staff, amazing food the best Thai food I have ever had. I have tried a lot of Thai food from around the local area and this by far the best for value for money, quality of ingredients and tastiness. I would a 100% recommend them

Me and my hubby shared a Chicken Pad Thai and Honey ribs. Both were delicious! Hot food and tasted great. Definitely worth a visit!

Cannot fault this place. We are newly local and thought we would try it out. Wow! Everything cooked fresh from scratch. Delicious food, mouth watering. Chef is a sweet lady very friendly and comes out of the kitchen to make sure everything was to our liking. Its definitely going to become a regular. We were surprised at the price too, we had 3 courses and couldnt believe how reasonable the bill was.

We often go to this restaurant, the menu is authentic and staff always friendly and happy to chat. It's the only place I know that sells Chang beer and I know it is difficult to source. Great to sit and eat always feel un rushed and welcome. Worth the 20 mile round trip.

My dish was lovely but my partners was quite tasteless other than very strong in coconut couldn't taste the chicken or the vegetables. Went at a very quiet time. Would go again. Please bring back the set menus

It was 5 degrees outside but plenty warm enough inside. The fish chu chee was exceptional and the value for money outstanding. The owner/chef cooks every dish fresh, this is not fast food but the beer and wine well priced to keep you going.

Thai Jasmine in Wareham is quite small but very friendly staff. Eaten in once but I find it cold during the evening. Takeaways were started during the Pandemic and we used this restaurant during that time and since. The food is always excellent. Cannot fault it. May return to dine in in Summer. Find it cold even when picking up takeaway. Can't wait for the next takeaway which is always a treat.

This place is bloody delicious. I can’t fault them. You can taste the love that’s gone into making that food. So happy to have moved to the Purbecks only to find out our local takeaway is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Good value too! Thank you!👍👍👍👍👍

My wife and I had a lovely meal here very recently after taking a small break near Wareham. The best Thia we’ve eaten for sure. Very tasty and plenty of food . The two young lads at front of house are very attentive , friendly and a credit to themselves . Anne the owner/ chef is very passionate and hard working and a joy to chat too . Tried the Thai Jasmine on a whim after visiting Durdle door and it did not disappoint! Tasty authentic Thai cuisine - The food and service were both excellent! The chef was really nice and took the time to ask us how our meal was which we really appreciated. 5* would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Thai Jasmine. It was fairly busy but the service was good if a little slow due to the busyness of the restaurant and the fact that they are cooking fresh and from scratch. I would recommend this restaurant to families (we had three children with us who loved their meal) and vegans, as the selection is great!

Takeaway from here was lovely. However, we ordered a variety of dishes majority of which all had the same sauce i.e pork with Thai basil, chicken and cashew, honey ribs, stir fried veg all came swimming (literally) in the same watery oyster sauce and same veges. But that does not take away from the fact the food tasted lovely but all tastes similar due to same sauce veg on all.
