Thai Hut in Bath and North East Somerset

Have visited numerous times now and have never been let down, the curries in particular are always brilliant. The varied menu from day-to-day is also a great idea. Have tried other Thai places which as of yet haven’t come close!

My sister and I have been going weekly for around 4 years because it’s just so so good!! It’s literally the highlight of our week. The menu is incredible and our particular favourites are the chicken pad Thai and the vegetarian yellow curry. I’ve tried many Thai places in the local area and nothing compares to how aromatic and flavoursome Thai huts food is! I’ve recommended this place to so many of my friends and they all agree that Thai hut is 5 stars! Keep up the great work guys!@Bath_bris_bites on Instagram

I have been eating regularly at The Thai Hut in Green Park Station for over 4 years. I have always had a thoroughly delightful and tasty meal. Today I had the vegetarian curry which was great value for money and a pleasure to eat. The service is always spot on. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Fuimos allí temprano en la tarde por primera vez desde la pandemia. Somos clientes habituales desde hace algún tiempo, pero esta vez nos quedamos completamente decepcionados.Un chico joven estaba sirviendo ese día, tuvimos que esperar un tiempo para que se viera que, en promedio, estaba sirviendo a un cliente en más de 10 minutos, independientemente de la longitud de la cola.Al final nos atendió, fue educado, pero algunos de los artículos de su menú estaban agotados y no los marcó como vendidos hasta que lo pedimos, de lo contrario no esperaríamos tanto tiempo para que nos sirvieran.Debido a la cantidad de tiempo que tuvimos que esperar, compramos solo una comida para los dos, la porción era más pequeña de lo habitual y estaba tibia en el mejor de los casos.Hemos estado allí durante el invierno y hemos comido mejor, pero durante el verano, en menos de 5 minutos, la comida estaba tan fría que terminamos llevándola a casa para ponerla en el microondas para poder comerla.Servicio muy decepcionante, espero que vuelva a ser lo que era.

Amazing, very tasty food! Great service and friendly staff. Tried their chicken jungle curry with sticky rice and would recommend it highly. Will be returning to try their other curries!

¡Me encanta su pato al curry Panang con arroz glutinoso! ¡Los pinchos también son buenos! La comida era barata pero INCREÍBLE! ! Sin embargo, debe tener mucha suerte para poder probar su comida, ya que estuvo cerrada durante mis pocas visitas. ¡Recuerde revisar su ig acc y ver si está abierto antes de ir allí!

Great food full of flavour (not hot). Chop sticks available for the more adventurous and seating outside to relax, enjoy and watch the world go by.

A Lunchtime delight. I often take my workers there for a treat and the Lovely owners have never disappointed. Perfect introduction for the virgin Thai diner. The mixed box is a must just make sure you have not eaten before hand !!!

Very tasty, enjoy! It's a nice lunch time treat and pretty close to our office. Being trying to cut down so one dish and a skewer deal shared between two works well and still filling.

Cheap. Delicious. Friendly people. A breath of Thai cuisine. We frequent it with our family. Always a place to satisfy your cravings.

Think we have been through the whole menu and everything on it is amazing. You can taste every single ingredient in each dish. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I have got to warn you though the food is addictive, you will want to go back again and again.

Came here for lunch and got the vegan curry. The staff were lovely and the curry was incredible. Much cheaper than most Thai places and if anything is better. There was no plastic in any aspect of the meal which is great for the environment.

Impromptu visit to the Thai Hut today. Great food at reasonable prices... simple but very very tasty and you get lots for you money!

You genuinely cant beat the food from this place. Every time i have been the food has been excellent and the service is always with a smile. If you visiting Bath, its definitely worth a visit.

They don't use fresh chilli in their food or have any to hand! So hardly authentic, but still quite tasty. I wish they could offer little bowls of nam pla prik for those of us who want a bit of heat.Would have expected an outlet like this to be slightly cheaper, also. I think it is the nicest Thai food in Bath, but then that's not saying much really. They should open a restaurant, and possibly introduce some Isaan food.

Long queue but checked they had my favourite skewers which were on show on the griddle - 5 minutes later when I ordered them they took most away for a pre order that somehow appeared from nowhere! Not in person or by phone when I was there! Offered to cook some more but all a bit thoughtless really! No on picked up the ones aledgedly ordered why not cook some more for them !

We love Thai Hut! Their Pad Thai is the best we've had outside of Thailand. The food tastes so authentic and it's worth stopping for any of their dishes! The ladies are so friendly and always smiling, it's always a pleasure to visit! Highly recommend!

My first time to eat here the food was good and took me back to the long times I spent in Thailand back in the 80s get there early to avoid waiting long I did and was served 1st.I will be eating here again every lunchtime I find myself in Bath.

So much flavour, really reminded me of my time in Thailand! I have had their curried before and they are great but in a sticker for their pad Thai.. Soooo good!

Great find inside Green Park Station next to Sainsburys. Wonderful Thai food servedfrom a wooden cabin. Lovely friendly service. Hot, fresh, authentic food to eat at the nearby tables or to take away. Nice selection of food and drink on the menu. Always excellent places to eat within Green Park Station. Today I tried the chilli garlic beef with sticky rice and it was sensational Thoroughly recommend the Thai Hut.

This small kiosk serves excellent pork and chicken satays and a variety of rice and noodle dishes that change frequently. Great value, authentic and extremely tasty I suggest you get there before 1:30 on a lunchtime as they frequently sell out of the main meals during the week. Personal favourites are their chicken green curry with rice (Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai) and of course their freshy grilled satays.you can occasionally find a free seat outside the kiosk but their food is great to take back home or to your work, except the satays which never seem to survive more than a couple off minutes before being completely devoured!!!Highly recommended.

I have been there a few times now. The food has always been great, large portions and fantastic value for money. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and are happy to help in anyway they can. Highly recommended.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, so Green Park Station was very quiet. The Thai Hut was doing good trade, with a short wait in the queue. We were given a big welcome with a cheery Sawadee-ka. There were four dishes on offer. Massaman Chicken Curry, Tamarind Duck, Chicken Satay, Pork Satay,I ordered the Tamarind Duck and my husband got the Massaman Curry both served with rice. My 6YO daughter opted for Chicken Satay as she doesn’t enjoy spicy food. The Massaman Curry was sublime, we were transported to Thailand. The Tamarind Duck was beautifully flavoured, but cooked a bit too syrupy for my liking. My daughter was in heaven—her Satays were delicious, she also tried some of our food and loved it!The service is really good and thoughtful. I asked for some Thai fish sauce, and although it wasn’t out with the condiments, the chef got some from the cupboard and let us have a little in a tiny plastic cup. They were really pleased that my daughter loved the satay so much, that they gave her an extra one on the house!FOR DOGS: The seating is outdoors, as part of Green Park Station, so well-behaved dogs are welcome. No water is provided for dogs.We will definitely be back, in fact we’ll make a detour to Green Park Station just to eat at Thai Hut again.

Went here today and had vegetable pad Thai and bbq chicken skewer, both absolutely lovely, come in handy takeaway container with lid on bag so able to take with you easily. Loads of noodles and veg in pad Thai, couldn’t finish it. Staff were very polite.

Despite having only 4-6 main dishes, this Hut exceeded my expectations!!! Great authentic Thai flavours and attentive and friendly Thai-smile staff: that brought us back to Thailand!!! We visited the Hut twice within our 4 day-visit in Bath. Highly recommended!!!

The most authentic Thai food I've tasted in Bath. It's alway fresh and delicious plus very good value. Very friendly service too!

all dishes here are awesome. pad thai is particularly good, vegetable curry is excellent. my personal go to is any meat with the black bean sauce, just awesome flavour. great value for money you get a lot in the dish. I would also recommend a freshly cooked pork skewer

A hut it may be, but the food served at this unassuming Bath street-food vendor gives the impression that one is revelling in the excess of a banquet at the Royal Phya Thai Palace. Take a trip to Thai Hut and be transported to Bangkok and live, if only for 15 minutes, the life of the famous King Rama V. Don't feel obliged, however, to emulate Rama's reign and undertake widespread social reforms during your quarter of an hour.

Read reviews and sought out this tiny little hut under the roof of an old station. Well worth the walk to get there. The lady was exceptionally friendly and polite and our food was ready in minutes and my goodness was it good. Enjoyed every last bite and the portion size was very good especially considering how cheap it was - the chicken Pad Thai was only £6 and duck pannang curry £7 including rice. Will definitely go back and highly recommend to everyone.

The food is incredibly delicious and the portions are large as well as the prices being pretty cheap. Furthermore the staff are incredibly lovely and helpful. I promise you won't be disappointed Cheers Tom

Consistently excellent, all the dishes are ridiculously delicious and faultless. My only complaint is that they're not open at supper time!

The food is just delicious. Always cooked fresher and served hot. The yellow curry is fantastic! It never disappoints.

I have visited Thai hut plenty of times for lunch with friends and family. They even provided food for my 21st birthday party. They're such warm and friendly people and the food is delicious! Definitely pay them a visit and try the chili garlic pork belly.

I eat here normally once a week and the whole menu is varied with great food - favourite has to be the jungle duck curry as it has that little extra bit of spice or the Pad Thai always tastes fresh - all at great value

I love coming to this place. The food is absolutely divine and served with love! They listen to the customers when it comes to the menu and display their menu daily on their Facebook site, so you know what to order before you arrive. With it being a small local business, I wouldn't want my money to go anywhere else. 10 out of 10!

I love Thai Hut, I come here a couple of times a month for lunch. My favourite dishes include Pad Thai, Jungle Curry and Garlic Chilli Belly Pork. I wish the jungle curry was a little spicer, as it's quite mild for a jungle curry but I suppose this is to cater for a larger crowd. It's still very tasty though! I have never had a bad lunch from Thai Hut!

The beautiful Thai girls are so passionate about their beautiful food and they are so friendly. This is such a treat when you do not want to cook yourself. Since I first tried it I really can't help going back again and again. Such good value for money, so fresh and simply delicious.

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten. I dont normally eat much at lunchtime but this food is so good.

We didn't plan on eating here as we were just passing and didn't even know it was there. ThE food smelt so good that we decided to stop and share some rice with chicken in a black bean sauce I believe, and some chicken on sticks for the boys, they were only £1! The food tasted fab, you can tell the girls know how to cook authentic Thai food. As it was slightly later in the day they had ran out of sticky rice, curry and beef which was a shame as we would have loved to try another dish. Next time we visit we will go early. Both girls are super friendly and very sweet.

Great spot to grab a quick lunch, excellent food and service. The skewers are a delight and the pad Thai is always hot and succulent. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have lunch from here as a take away twice a week. The food is always great and the choice of dishes is always interesting.The Pad Thai is great value for a fiver, and my favourite dish is the Thai Belly Pork and rice which they don't have on often enough for my liking!!!!!The Thai Hut doesn't open every day during the week which is a shame, but there is often a queue when they are open because the food is great.

The food at the Thai Hut is excellent, really tasty at a reasonable price - I would definitely recommend the Honey Sesame Chicken or the yellow curry

Highly recommend The Thai Hut in central Bath for a very tasty lunch. Perfect for workers, visitors and great for a snack when visiting the Saturday Bath Farmers Market at Green Park.

Great value, delicious Thai food! Why waste your money on a limp, nasty supermarket sandwich for lunch when you can have a fresh Pad Thai beautifully cooked? A winner in anyones book. I even got a free bag ;)

Excellent, authentic Thai food cooked with love and great skill. Very good value and a nice, small menu that always satisfies. Highly recommended. Open from Wednesday through to Sunday from around 11.00am.

Buffet lunch for a local business, really great tasting food with a range of dishes to suit everyone's taste - difficult not to love!

The menu is tiny but what they cook is delicious and inexpensive. Great Thai Street Food Place. Shame that opening times can be a bit erratic.
