Very engaging staff Shapon,Marbur,Nor and others with a very excellent Thai head chef that worked at the Edinburgh Convention centre and Grosvenor Park hotel over the past 45 years in top catering management.Tucked away upstairs with large original Thai artifacts welcoming you to spacious dining area with recently refurbished lighting and new paint scheme similar to many visits to Thailand enroute to Oz.Excellent bar with traditional beers and some other choices what can I say!

Very authentic thai restarant. Delicious food, wonderful service, not overpriced. Perfect place for dinner, recommending to everyone.

So average it hurts, Tempura prawns chewy and just tastes like sesame seeds. Won’t be ordering again

Food poor today. Hope this is a one off. The prawn crackers were very stale, not fresh at all and the salad was brown and old - again not fresh. The Thai green vegetables which are normally v good - lacked taste. It felt like because we ordered early on a Saturday evening we got food left over from lunchtime or the night before. We'll try one of the other Thai restaurants in Billericay next time.

We enjoyed the queen's platter What a terrific selection of tasty food Had friends who regularly visit Thailand and they were impressed. Certainly somewhere id go again

The decor was jaded with lots of fridges in the restaurant. I was hoping it might be excellent food but in old fashioned surroundings. I was wrong. The food was like a bland Chinese takeaway and nothing like Thai food and yes I have been to Thailand where the food was amazing. I won’t be going back.

Food as always was delicious and hot. Thank you delivery man is always friendly and happy. Such a fab service

We really enjoyed our food. Went for set meal and we were really pleased with what was put in front of us. Staff were friendly. Definitely would recommend it for an after work treat.

Service was very good, attentive without being in your face. Food was good . The restaurant was too hot for me but we managed . Would recommend.

The food I got as take away was overall…TERRIBLE. The wings was definitely the worst. Completely bland and was missing the rest of the chicken wings. The pad Thai prawn was basic, but worse was the prawns which was only 4 :/ Calamari was okay, but definitely not better than any I have ever had. Honestly, I don’t think any of the 8 dishes we ordered was better than any Thai I have had and it’s my first and would be the last time trying Thai from this place.

Thai crackers were stale, the beef and chicken on the Queen menu was really spicy. The chicken was oily. Not the best meal we’ve had.

The food was really poor quality. Threw the phad Thai in the bin it was so bad! What a shame.

Nice and friendly, food is ok although our beef panang had very very chewy beef in it, although the rest was mostly good. The noodle dish was a little plain, we have had much better elsewhere, beer was on the wrong side of warm/cold. The thing that brings the score up is the service, which was exceptional. Worth a try for a bog standard Thai, but nothing special.

Went recently with my partner and we loved it! Food was so flavoursome and fresh. And it’s actually spicy!! Eddie our server was excellent - great guy who made us feel very welcome. Can’t wait to go back!

We had the most wonderful meal here on Saturday evening. We haven’t been for years and the last time we went it wasn’t amazing, but friends who had been recently recommended we try again. It was fantastic! We were greeted at the door by the loveliest waiter, who looked after us throughout the evening. The service and food were excellent. I had the panang chicken curry and my husband had fish krapraw. Both were lovely. The cost was also very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Went there for a nice Thai, cracker which are my favourite didn’t taste right! Pad Thai peanuts were soggy and got stuck to the fork and the pad thai was soggy and not the true Thai. Golden bags didn’t match up the menu description and tasted like a frozen ball of chicken! Once complained they were to close to my face saying the chef was Thai etc and got very aggressive. Nothing was fresh not even the carrots with the bags. Never again!!!

Soup was delicious. £5.90 for 4 triangles of prawn toast - jeez. The pad Thai was quite unpleasant. Disappointing to say the least.

Superb meal. Really enjoyable and tasty mixed starters and a lovely chicken and chilli dish for the main course. Also had a great beef with pepper and garlic dish and the beef was much more succulent than usual in a Thai or Chinese meal. Plus a red curry. Very tasty. Hadn't been here for a while but it certainly won't be too long before we go back again.

Thai house? Should have been named spice house! I ordered the red Thai curry but have never experienced spice quite like it, it feels like lava has been poured into my mouth! However, it arrived cold and I had to microwave it isn’t that ironic!? The flavours were there but overpowered by the burning chilli’s, such a shame. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be ordering again unless I have a nearby fire extinguisher, very disappointed

Delivery was exceptionally late and the food was mildly warm - we had to reheat in the oven. Very disappointed!

An unexpected gem of a restaurant! It’s not particularly modern looking & some of the decor is a little cheesy, but the food & service more than makes up for that. We had the vegetarian set menu which was excellent, a lovely mix of vegetables & unexpected tofu in the meals. The sweet & sour was a particularly good dish, something we would not usually order. Great food, great value & great service!

Went to The Thai House for our Anniversary. The food was exceptional, so many different flavours, and there was lots of choice. The staff were very friendly, and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Only 3 prawns in the curry and very oily. Not the best Thai I’ve had.

The staff are lovely. I Came here for my birthday a few years ago food was great. Went last weekend and the food tastes and smelt off. Not sure if they have a new chef but they need to learn how to make a pad Thai. As that's not what it's meant to taste like. Not fresh at all. Please retrain the chef to make fresh food as it all smelt like sweat. Such a shame I used to like it here but the food is just not nice now

Had special dishes that catered for a big group of vegetarians and vegans and everyone loved it! Really flavoursome and definitely will come back! Excellent and attentive customer service too.

Quick delivery on a Wednesday night - I’ve known them to be poor at weekends. Food piping hot and tasty. Abound the calamari - it never travels well

They forgot the rice - I phoned, they were very polite (although rushed) and I got my absent rice delivered within 15 minutes. Food good, as ever.

I lived in Thailand for years and this is the only place in the UK that I’ve found that matches real Thai cooking. This place obviously has a proper Thai chef. The food was piping hot and the flavours spot on. Do yourself a favour and order the Chicken Larb. Traditional Issan cooking. I only wish they did this as minced pork. 5 star place

Ordered 3 different takeaways all had chicken breast which was tough and chewy, one potato had dark patches. Not impressed.

This place started off well enough. The food was ok. I ordered the chicken phad-tai, which good enough. However, my meal was horribly interrupted by what I could only assume the owner or manager on duty yelling at a member of staff to the point where it brought obvious distress to the poor waitress. This racket continued for far too long and it reached the point where the waitress simply walked out. Even if the food was the finest in the country, I would never visit this place again for the blatant abuse towards staff, and hope whoever reads this shares the same morals as I do.

Wonderful authentic Thai food. Great service from really polite staff. Owner came over to check all was well and thanked us for coming in. Great restaurant! Would highly recommend and will absolutely return. Five Stars!

Last visited this restaurant a few years ago. Don't know if it has changed hands but didn't feel as authentic as it used to. Staff were very young maybe new and service was slow. The food was good and excellent value but the drinks were not cold beer and wine need to be served very cold they were not.

Had a lovely meal here, food was full of flavour and very good value for money. Staff were all polite and friendly even the nervous young ladies who were learning. Everybody has to learn! Will definetly be returning.

We were informed of a change in ownership when the food was delivered and unfortunately that reflected in the food - the sharing starter was bland and all the chicken was over cooked to the point it resembled cardboard. both green and red curries again had over cooked chicken in it, with the veg being cooked to mush too- the curry used to be really fresh with loads of fresh al dente veg running through it - super disappointing! Hopefully this is just teething issues and things will get better...

Flavourless bland food, ordered baby squid and received cheap squid tubes, Prawns in Tom Yam hard and over cooked, service was poor and uneducated about the menu and I don't believe there has ever been a Thai national anywhere near the kitchen. Not authentic Thai food.!!!
