Food was rich in flavour and excellent service. This is the best Thai restaurant in Medway.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! What a great impression walking through the door. Lovely cosy Thai restaurant. Koi karp pond and several fish tanks around the restaurant. I walked in at 7pm on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Really do call and pre book! I had a sharing platter starter, delightful. Main Phad Prik Khing with noodle. Did these hit the spot! What an amazing resturant, great value for money and service was top notch. If I return to Roch this will be the first restaurant on my list!

Had a great lunchtime meal at Thai Four Two in Rochester with friends!, service was friendly, and the food really tasty. Starters: PHLAA KUNG: Grilled King Prawn salad with a fiery Thai-style dressing, full of fresh kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, chili oil, and carrots. Packs a punch! 🌶️🔥 For mains: PLA RADD Prik: Deep-fried cod served with a tasty Thai sweet and sour chili sauce. Musamunn Curry: A mild coconut curry with a subtle sour note, loaded with beef, onions, and potatoes. Coconut Rice: Jasmine rice cooked in rich coconut milk—full of flavor. Phad Thai Noodles: Rice noodles in a homemade sweet & sour sauce, mixed with egg, bean sprouts, carrots, spring onions, ground peanuts, and a squeeze of lemon. Finished of with a bowl of Strawberry ice cream. My top pick was the PHLAA KUNG— flavorful and spicy, which it went will with a cold Singha beer 🍤🍺. Thank you

The Jungle Curry was very nice but could have been a bit spicier. Apologies to one of the waiters as I was giving a negative review to a different restaurant and when she looked over my shoulder to deliver food it looked as if I was poorly reviewing Thai Four Two.

Delicious lunch! We had fish cakes, satay chicken, miso soup and ribs (best ever apparently) then we had Thai curries which were absolutely gorgeous. My son fancied noodles, the attentive staff helped him with recommendations. Would love to come back, decor is well themed with fish tanks and ponds, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend

I’ve been to Thai Four Two a few times now and it’s become a firm favourite when family are in town. The food is always made fresh and full of flavour, and it’s enjoyed in a great atmosphere. Waiting staff are super attentive and friendly and it’s a pleasure to dine here every time. A real gem on the high street.

Tonight we had a wonderful family meal here. The staff team are brilliant, looking after us very well throughout. The food is world clash, delicious and filling. We had a fabulous time and will be sure to return often.

One of the BEST Thai restaurants I have been to and definitely the best on in Rochester High Street. The interiors have been decorated very well, giving a rustic, homely and traditional Thai feel. The food is very good. Portion sizes were good, and all in all quite filling. Very reasonable prices as well.

A firm family favourite for many many years. A recent return trip was just as fantastic as always. Delicious mixed starters and rich curries complimented by the Weeping Tiger and Tamarind Duck. Thank you, we'll see you again soon!

We came across this little gem a bit further down the road from all the pubs and junk food restaurants. Prawn Pad Thai and Crispy Duck to share were excellent. Really delicious. The Pandan Pancake for dessert was also really quite tasty. Service was exceptional. Prompt, attentive and friendly. I would very much recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves Thai food. It’s somewhat difficult to find a Thai restaurant, but to find one that makes a really delicious Pad Thai is even harder to find. Thank you for a lovely pre-show dinner. We will return.

Amazing service and good. The Thai green and red curries were lovely. Pad Thai was also excellent. Large portions of rice. Excellent value and too this restaurant quality. Best we’ve had in Kent and outside London. Can’t wait to go back. Great service and fitted us in no problem even though it was busy during Dickens Festival.

The food was excellent a little disappointed we were not provided with dips for the prawn crackers for the starter but the main meal was super. If you are in Rochester and want an adventurous meal this is the place to go.

I arrange my friends 60th birthday party here on a Tuesday night . They helped me dress our area before she arrived .All the food was amazing and very quick service nothing was to much trouble and they brought out the birthday cake. We will go back as a group again .x

My go-to thai restaurant, i always go for the chicken kra prao and red curry. I have explored their menu and tried a bunch of stuff and I can say that they are all amazing!! Staff is also always so friendly and the ambience is lovely

We were celebrating our second anniversary of our civil partnership. Given a choice of seats and therfore the view. We chose the window seat. Food and service excellent. We would recommend this establishment. They were turning folk away on a Friday èvening at 6.30pm, which shows really how popular this restaurant is.

The food was exceptionally good as was the service. Had one of my best meals ever, didn't want it to end. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely Thai restaurant. Reasonably priced but the food was excellent. The service and atmosphere was great too. Just make sure you book a table though, as it can be very busy at the weekend. We've definitely found a new favourite.

Been here a few times as the food is always great, but this time was the first since being diagnosed with diabetes which makes eating out a pain as i now live sugar free. They went out of their way to make me a sugar free dish which was delicious and very much appreciated.

Our first visit, the food was superb. The best meal out we've had in a long time. Brilliant service, lovely staff. We will be back soon.

This was such a lovely restaurant! Flavour was amazing, my 11 month old loved the prawn crackers! Just munching and munching it. They accommodated my little one so well and the service was superb! This will definitely be a classic for us now on our nights out as a family.

First time I've been here and restaurant itself had a good atmosphere and relaxing the waiting staff were excellent and as for the food...it was delicious 😋 the best Phad Thai I've ever eaten and the sharing starter was perfect Definitely the best Thai restaurant in Medway and is very popular as for a Sunday it was almost full with customers I highly recommend

We went to Thai Four Two for the first time last night. Immediately we walked into the busy restaurant we felt the good atmosphere. We would recommend this establishment: the food was very tasty, the service excellent (the girls were very friendly), and care and attention had obviously been expended on the decor and fittings. We will definitely be going again!

What a little gem this place is. Service was excellent.....they were so discreet but were always there to be of assistance. Food was amazing and so reasonabley priced for the quality. I loved the tableware used to serve too....it's all these little touches that make a place. It was our first visit there but definitely will not be the last time we go. Highly recommended.

Fabulous meal service was excellent

I recently visited this place with high hopes for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, my visit left a group of us feeling disappointed and frustrated. Firstly, the service provided by one of the staff members named Posti was consistently rude and unprofessional. This greatly impacted our overall impression of the restaurant. The seat arrangement was inflexible, making it difficult for our group to sit comfortably together. Despite requesting a change, she seemed unwilling to accommodate our needs, further adding to our frustration. We couldn't help but feel unwelcome due to a perceived reluctance to serve Asian customers. It's disheartening when any establishment exhibits such behavior towards Asian customers - as clearly majority who dine in and leave positive reviews are non-Asians. Regrettably, we left the restaurant without even having the opportunity to try their food. This experience left us angry and with no desire to return. It is my hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving their service and inclusivity.

I havent visited since 2021, but its great to see there's not been a lapse in service. This was an amazing evening with a wonderful friend. We arrived a bit late, but they accommodated us 😃. In 90 mins or less, we were able to get the pre, starters, have time to consider the menu, place our orders, have starter, main and dessert and pay the bill. That speaks to the speed of service. They're also responsible to their patrons. We declared a shellfish allergy and someone came back to the table to advise one of our options was prepared in a shellfish environment and gave us the opportunity to change it. Amazing! The taste of the food was rich and 'moreish' 🤣. My friend even joked at the end of the evening that we couldn't taste it properly and so would need another round to give a proper opinion! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The team are delightful to interact with. Speed of service - extremely efficient, presentation of food - colourful, professional and clean. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, and will defo be going again.

In Rochester for a weekday day trip and tempted by the lunch menu. Great value, really nice food and great service. Delicious desserts. Only open 12pm - 2pm for lunch but quick service.

My favourite restaurant in rochester and always amazing

This is a little gem nestled in Rochester High Street. We passed by it on several occasions when visiting Rochester and finally decided on booking a table for two in the summer (have been back on a further two occasions since including last night). What can I say! Thai for two is the absolute nuts!. The service is amazing, the food is stunning and the menu is varied and value for money. A three course meal will set you back around £25 including a drink. All I will say, if your undecided on a night out either as couple or with friends, you will have a fantastic evening. Highly, highly recommended.

Lovely staff who were very knowledgeable and helpful in vegan options, said they can do almost anything on the menu vegan. Amazing Thai flavours, very authentic. The vegan pad Thai was delicious and reminded me of Chiang Mai!

Went here for my birthday. There were 11 of us, despite this service was fast and everyone enjoyed the food. All the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Went here for lunch today with my husband and son. We arrived about 1.30, which was quite close to their closing time. We were made very welcome and asked to choose as quickly as we could as the kitchen closed as 2. Not a problem, we decided quickly. Our food arrived beautifully presented, piping hot and absolutely delicious. We were conscious of the time but never felt rushed. Would definitely reccomend coming here the food was amazing and fairly priced, shame we aren't local would love a return visit.

Really love this Thai restaurant. Even when busy we have always managed to get seated within 15 minutes. Not saying that happens for all customers. Food is very good and I love their Sweet and Sour Fish.
