Thai brasserie in Eastbourne

I order take aways from here when I want good quality Thai food. I agree with another review on here that the Pad Thai does need more lime juice, it would be good if they could include a comments section when ordering online through their website so I could ask for this.The soups from here are excellently priced and so tasty, my favourite is the Tom Kar which has coconut milk in it.It's very easy to spend a lot of money here when ordering the dishes sound so good when you read their descriptions.I think it's excellent that there are so many vegan and vegetarian dishes available as that is very uncommon with take aways in Eastbourne.

From start to finish this was by far the most excellent experience in eating out. Service was exceptional and all the staff and management were so friendly. It was the first time I have been to a Thai restaurant and I will definitely return. The food was lush and cooked to perfection. Service with a smile. Thanks for such a lovely evening.

My partner & I were wandering around the area, after visiting the Eastbourne Vegan Market, & happened across Thai Brasserie. I didn't realise it was there, let alone for 10 years! The gentleman who saw us in, & served us was so friendly & helpful. He talked with us about vegan options, which, as it turned out, is most of their menu, especially as it is all cooked fresh. We had spring rolls & corn cakes, which were served with my partners steamed rice & tofu massaman curry, & my vegetable jungle curry also with steamed rice. Their desserts all have dairy in the ice creams, so they made me banana fritters, & were kind enough to pop an extra one in the bowl. The price was amazing, too. We had such a great time, trying things we hadn't tried before, & feeling so welcome. We will definitely return to Thai Brasserie!

We booked here for a meal during our stay in Eastbourne - we arrived at 7 pm and couldn't find the entrance ! There were no signs but we followed another couple around the corner and there it was - a sign would maybe help at the entrance of the complex. We were greeted by a lovely lady who quickly had has seated - some prawn crackers and a drink were brought to the table - nice touch. My partner and I both had the chicken satay - really good then he had a duck dish and I had the pad thai - a little disappointing - needed more lime - it was very busy and buzzing and we would definitely return

We visited based on reviews, and were surprised by the location. It was hard to find even when we knew where ot was. We were welcomed into a conservatory type building at the end of a shopping centre behind the station.We ordered and the food was great

Went here few days ago after a recommendation from a friend, and I wasnt disappointed, food was pretty good, will definitely visit again.

We ate here last week, we were going to stay in as the weather was awful, we were so pleased we went out, the food was amazing, the service was great. We’ll definitely eat here again when we’re in the area.

Second time we have visited here. The first for lunch which was amazing. They do a deal which works out very reasonable. The second was for dinner and that too was delicious. Service is very attentive and you are not rushed between courses. Good selection of food and drinks and we even had room for a pudding. Coconut ice cream was lovely. This is a little gem.

Meal was delivered in time quoted - did need heating up though, I like my food hot.The vegetable Tom Yum soup was superb.The Jungle Curry with tofu was not as hot chilli wise as I expected, the sauce tasted good but the tofu was, I think, overdone, it was too chewy, which was a shame.The chicken Masaman tasted perfect but needed more potato in it as there were only two small pieces. The chicken Pad Thai tasted very good.My son felt the special he had, the Gai rooi fai, battered chicken with a sauce was way overpriced at £11.95 and I had to agree in comparison to the prices charged for the other dishes ordered.The vegetable tempura was ok, but again, we wouldn't order this again as a bit disappointing, it was not crispy but soft.Our food came to £45.35 altogether.I did try to order through the website but it wouldn't accept my payment, so I had to ring and do it that way, which was annoying as I spent a long time on the website, that needs to be made easier.

Really great Thai food, we shared starters and mains. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended but easily missed by non locals possibly as it’s tucked away in a small retail centre behind the railway station.

Cashew Nut stir fried prawn was excellent - we had the 2 courses and a drink for £9-95. Located in The Enterprise Shopping Centre. We ate on Sunday 22nd August 2021

I loved it here. We were welcomed into the restaurant like we were good friends and drinks orders were taken very promptly. Starters of ribs, salt and pepper squid and pork dumplings Tasted lovely and they were quick to come out. Mains of deep fried seabass in tamarind sauce and mixed pad Thai came out beautifully cooked and very tasty. The waitress had a little chat with us and was so friendly it was really lovely and felt so relaxed. Will definitely visit again.

Highly recommend this restaurant, nothing to be faulted. Food was delicious, we had the Veg & Chicken Green Curry, Sweetcorn Cakes & Duck Spring Rolls - portions are perfectly sized and the right level of spice. Staff were really friendly and attentive too, a big thank you to Lita who provided me with a complimentary small portion of Massaman Curry to try when I asked her what it was like as I usually get the Green Curry. It was a birthday dinner and Lita brought out a candle lit dessert after our mains which was a lovely touch - thank you. Would highly recommend

What can I say? AAA is for amazing food. Amazing restaurant. Amazing staff. So just amazing. The food taste fresh and tasty. We ordered 3 salads from their menu. All three was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the beef salad. Spicy but mind blowing. The papaya salad was fresh and perfect for my level of spiciness. The salt and pepper.squid was perfect not chewy at all and perfect with siriacha spicy sauce. My kids had Thai dumplings with rice. We all had the best meal and can’t wait to go back. Btw. We drove from Crawley West Sussex to come here. Highly recommended establishment. Thank you so much

During lockdown I have tried many of the Thai takeaways in Eastbourne and have been very disappointed with most of them, so I decided to look up on Trip Advisor to see if I could find any others available that I hadn't ordered from before and found this one was No 1 for Thai in Eastbourne.I went onto the website to order, it was a Saturday night so I knew it was going to be busy - I was offered times to receive my food delivery and the first one available was for one hours time, I chose that.It wasn't until I was paying that the time changed to one and a half hours, which was quite a long time but luckily I found the food so good, it was worth the wait.You have to order a minimum of £20 worth of food and delivery is £2 and there was an extra 50p charged, I think they add it as a fee for using a card.I ordered a starter of vegetable tempura - it was more breadcrumbs than batter but they tasted very nice and the sweet chilli sauce was very good too, I would have liked more of that - the pot it came in was very small.I also ordered an egg fried rice, that was a little clumped together and there wasn't much egg but it tasted very nice.I also ordered two dishes, a chicken masaman curry - this was so good, the meat was large pieces, lot of it, perfectly cooked potatoes, some carrots and big pieces of onion - the sauce it was in was perfect, so tasty.The other dish was a chicken pad Thai noodle, also very tasty and very good.I was given a bag of Thai prawn crackers which were also very tasty and crispy.I will definitely be ordering from here again.The lady who delivered my food was wearing a mask and was very friendly.

Always a fabulous meal, a favourite for birthday celebrations. Since lockdown they have offered deliveries which have been just as good, delivery has always been on time and communication has been good. The one time they made a mistake it was quickly rectified.

I always have an amazing experience here. Staff are always very friendly and helpful, food is always cooked perfectly and it tastes amazing.

Thai Brasserie is only doing deliveries at the moment as we're in lockdown but when you place your order there is no indication of how long it will take until after you've paid. In our case it was two and a half hours! We tried to ring them but couldn't get through on the phone. It makes you wonder how many orders they take on a weekend and whether it's about trying to take as much money as possible even if they can't cope with demand. Food when it arrived was just average.

We were staying at a local campsite called, paid and the food arrived 20 mins later. Food is to die for, would highly recommend, thank you

Been a number of times with my family. Can't fault the food or the service. Brilliant restaurant, will definitely be a regular place for us.

Este restaurante está ubicado en el primer piso (segundo piso en el término estadounidense) de un pequeño centro comercial nuevo (aunque no hay muchas tiendas) justo al lado de la estación. Tiene muchas plantas y flores, lo que hace que parezca que estamos en un lugar exótico.A nuestra llegada nos recibieron calurosamente y nos acomodaron rápidamente. Tenían un menú de almuerzo con una excelente relación calidad-precio: entrada, plato principal y una bebida, a las 9. 95. ¡Pad Thai (7.50) era simplemente divino! Tenía siete piezas de langostinos jugosos y el sabor y el sabor eran excelentes. El pollo con anacardos tuvo menos éxito y el arroz estuvo bien. Los rollitos de primavera de verduras estaban crujientes y muy sabrosos.El servicio fue muy amable, educado y eficiente, lo que hizo que nuestra visita fuera agradable.

I highly recommend this restaurant, it is a unique gem in Eastbourne,if you are looking for good Thai food, the staff has been exceptional and the food is delicious.

I visited this Restuarant on the 8/08/2020 with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the service was. We had a very lovely waitress and the overall atmosphere was lovely. The food was flavoursome and cooked to our spice level which my friend and I appreciated.

We went here on 29th July and were impressed with the warm welcome and quick attention from the staff. Ella (I hope that's right) was especially good and very knowledgeable and understood our requirements, as my husband and I both like hot spicy food and I cannot eat certain things. We had mixed platter to start and it was beautiful especially the Duck spring roll. My beef panang was delicious and creamy, very succulent meat, and a nice dose of requested extra chilli. My husband had the jungle chicken curry and that was superb, plenty meat which was tender and nice vegetables.Excellent value as well. Definitely would recommend and go again when we are next in Eastbourne.

Found this place on trip advisor and as we were staying in Eastbourne for the weekend and being our wedding anniversary.we were so glad we went as the food was fantastic.All is freshly cooked and reasonably priced.To start we had a mixed sharer and mains I had the Thai jungle curry with chicken hot version and green curry for my wife.probably the best Thai meal we have ever had and what a lovely family.You will find them upstairs behind the train station.

Great welcoming staff. Food was good! Salt&Pepper squid was excellent as was the Prawn Singapore noodles. First week if opening / social distancing so very Confused why they sat all 4 tables very close too each other when they could have spread people around..... even tho arriving an hour before closing and 80 percent of tables empty, perhaps they were expecting a last minute rush lol But apart from that, good overall food!

We visited the Thai Brasserie based on its glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. Well we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant is quaint and cosy and the waiters very polite and accommodating. The menu choice was very good and not to extensive. Our starters were beautifully cooked and the best steamed dumplings we had tasted. The mains were also delicious, the weeping tiger steak was juicy and tender, drunken noodles both full of flavour and light enough to keep eating!!. We have enjoyed the food so much we are returning for lunch again today!!.

Heavenly Thai food, I go there every Sunday. It is the best Thai food I have ever had even in comparison to many Chinese food and Italian food. The closest taste to the Thai food in Thailand you get in UK. 😋

Arrived as it opened at 5.30p.m.. Staff really friendly and food was good. I',m very picky but there were many things on the menu which I could have eaten - that makes a change for me! Well worth a visit.

Went on a Saturday evening,great welcome and atmosphere. Service was really good,not rushed ,food was excellent and fantastic value for money. Another trip is at the top of my list.

I love this place, we normally eat in on the odd occasions the kids are staying with grandparents.

I have been here multiple times in this place i never feel disappointed. Funny beef is a must to try for the beef just taste so nice🌶🌶🌶 will definitely keep coming back.

Honestly I feel that this one of the best Thai cuisines in Eastbourne if not the best. The restaurant is clean and is clearly looked after. Additionally the food is top-tier meaning I would happily eat here again. All the staff were friendly and caring showing passion to my family along with other customers. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a perfect and lovely meal.

I’m from London/Kent area and have recently moved to Eastbourne. I came in here expecting a decent meal that would actually fill me up. I got tapas chicken satay which was as expected (2 sticks) and a main of Thai curry with sticky rice. The portion of curry wouldn’t fill a thimble let alone my mouth and belly. By coincidence/conveniently the draft beer is off too so I had to buy a tiny bottle at the same price. Very sneaky way of presenting the food so that it actually looks more and crafty with the booze. On this basis I would not recommended to anyone even if it’s their last wish pre-death. For those of you who have given the thumbs up/high rating and think this place is good I’ll sell you a bag of magic beans for £50.

We booked to eat here based on TripAdvisor reviews. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant is slightly off the beaten track but well worth finding, upstairs above a small shopping centre. There were a few other tables occupied and a nice atmosphere. We ordered a sharing starter and then a selection including massamam curry and pad thai. All was really tasty. The service was great too, very friendly and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and they are happy to adapt food, as far as possible for allergies and tastes. We recently had a party and it was fabulous. The food was excellent as always and the team managed to produce all the dishes at the same time - not an easy feat with a group of 16 who all ordered different things. Fantastic value too. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We held a birthday party for 23 people today and the Thai Brasserie were so helpful and not put out that we only gave them 30 minutes notice! I had the Pad Thai and it tasted just like home.

I came to the Thai Brasserie with a group of friends. We all enjoyed the lunch time menu and since there was about 20 of us we must have tried everything. All of us lived the dishes. I had the seafood set and would recommend to anyone.

Ho cenato in questo ristorante da solo durante una trasferta di lavoro. Molto buoni il Pad Kee Mao (noodles) ed il Massaman curry anche se avrei preferito le verdure tagliate più finemente. Porzioni abbondanti e ben presentate. Eccezionale rapporto qualità-prezzo. Servizio rapido e cortese. Peccato i set menu siano disponibili solo per 2 o più persone, avrei volentieri assaggiato un po' di tutto.

Usually, I like to order Som-tum and Spicy minced pork but sometimes I want to try another. The Thai brasserie is my favorite restaurant. Often I buy take-aways because I like stay with my dogs in the house. I love the service, atmosphere in Thai brasserie. I'm Thai and I recommend if you want true Thai taste, you need to go to Thai brasserie. I would like to eat in the restaurant next week.

Came for dinner after reading so many five stars reviews but absolutely terrified. We had the 2 people set menus and none of the food was even 'average'. Having had authentic Thai food before, the food was terrible and we did not understand where the high ratings come from at all.

After reading fellow travellers reviews, I was really looking forward to eating here, the resturant it's self is clean, the staff polite, but the food was cheap, frozen and over cooked, burn't pad tai is not tasty at all. Paid £60 for rubbish.

Read somewhere its the best Thai in town and I believe it. Good food at reasonable prices and the staff were all extremely friendly and anxious to explain all the dishes. Plenty of room between tables which is important.

I've ordered some home delivery today and got absolutely in love with the quality of the ingredients and the final food taste and quality.

Went to this lovely place purely because of the reviews on trip advisor and it didn't disappoint. Service was very good, fresh. attentive staff. I had the weeping tiger which was fantastic. Mixed in with some starters and a bottle of Rioja.

Although our group has eaten at various restaurants on our visits to Eastbourne this was our first time at the Thai Brasserie. We chose it based on Trip Advisor reviews which were very positive. The reviews were accurate as we really enjoyed the food and the service was first rate. My main course was sea bass in a typical Thai sauce and was delicious. Thoroughly recommended - but do check the location before you set out to eat there!

The service it’s so good and all the workers are very polite and the food is really nice, I really enjoy every time that I go there. I will be soon back to visit the restaurant

Visited here due to our love of Thai food. We visited purely on the trip advisor reviews. The food was very good and fresh. We were one of the only ones in the restaurant due to visiting bang on opening time, so can’t really comment on much else as it wasn’t hard to get the service right. However we wouldn’t hesitate visiting again, fingers crossed the food is as good next time. The location is a little strange upstairs in the Enterprise centre and the toilets are not part of the restaurant. All a bit of a quirky location and restaurant layout but I would recommend a visit if you like Thai food.

Considering the location above a small shopping centre in a train station car park I wasn't expecting much. But, the restaurant has a calm atmosphere. The menu is varied, food portions were good and the food really tasty. The price for 5 of us was less than a hundred pounds and we all felt full and had beer. The staff are really attentive. A lovely experience and I will be returning. Well worth a visit.

We were on a 4-day workshop in Eastbourne and came across this little gem via Trip Advisor, so glad that we did as it’s an amazing place for good Thai food. It isn’t easy to find for non-locals as it’s tucked away a stone throw away from the train station, but ask the locals as they know where it is! The ambiance is nice, food is very flavoursome and the staff are very warm and friendly. The food was delicious. Very good value for money.

We came here for the first time in the summer on a recommendation and absolutely loved it and went back today and was just such fantastic food!

Ordered to collect, but this just made me want to dine in soon!! Food was fresh, beautiful aromatic flavours across all dishes (sweet and sour prawn, Thai green beef curry, egg noodles with veg) the only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because of the ratio of veg to meat in the dishes, there was little meat/prawn and almost too much veg - Especially in the noodles, which was rather sad as they were addictive. The man on the phone was very friendly and accommodating and they double boxed our food as we were picking up around closing time - so thank you for the extra consideration!! Food was piping hot and much enjoyed. Highly recommended

I visited this restaurant due to the TripAdvisor reviews. I must say that I was not disappointed. I was much more astonished by the affordable prices for the meal. I had to keep pinching myself and asking my wife, 'that can't be the price' the meal was so satisfying, I could not ask for more.

I've dined a the Thai Brasserie on a number of occasions... I always enjoy a meal at the Thai Brasserie. The food, service, and choice is brilliant. I especially enjoy the tapas option - this ensures you don't have to limit your taste buds experience!!

We came here for a birthday meal for 2 adults and a teenager. Upon 1st arrival it was dead but within 20 minute the place was heaving ! All of us enjoyed our food and the drinks reasonable. Staff very friendly

Visited here as one of a group of 24 people today, a first time visit for me although I have always heard good things of this restaurant. The staff were very efficient and welcoming. We chose the lunchtime special menu which has plenty of choices for a two course meal. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. Very impressed at how well such a large group was catered for.

We booked last minute for a birthday meal and were blown away by the food and service - just marvellous. We’ve been to Thailand a number of times and this is the closest we have come to being back there! Food is 5 star - worth noting you can also get it as a takeaway - and the service and surroundings are wonderfully authentic. A real gem next to the station.
