TGI Fridays - Liverpool One in Liverpool

Myself and a friend came up from London to watch the Liverpool game and we decided to grab some last minute dinner here and were very happy we did. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and shown our seats by a lovely lady. Our waiter was Jason who was warm, welcoming, engaging and answered all our questions. Food arrived promptly and tasted great. I can often find chains like this a bit hit and miss, but the food was delicious. It had great flavour, and tasted freshly cooked. (I do wish TGI’s would have more veggie options that weren’t fake meat though) Jason informed us that he had finished his shift and that someone else would be looking after us which happened to be his sibling who was equally as lovely. All staff we came into contact were great. Please don’t let previous reviews put you off this place and I hope management recognise the staff members mentioned.

Lousy host, waitress was good and welcoming.

Overpriced food. Poor service. I ordered a coffee, had to ask for sugar to be told they don’t have any so they gave me sweetener, then I had to ask for a spoon to stir the coffee, coffee was cold. No cutely, given an empty mayonnaise. Seats were dirty. I couldn’t even hear what the waitress was saying as the music was so loud. £90 for 3 burger and chips, wings, 2 waters and 2 apple juice. I wouldn't mind paying that but it absolutely wasn’t worth it.

The food was delicious! The service provided was excellent! And we had a great dinner!

Table and chairs are always sticky and dirty, salt and pepper are either empty or missing. Had issues with staff regarding the service. Been served burnt food and couldn't tell anyone as no one came to see if everything was ok, the person serving me was no where to be found only when my food was ready and disappeared again. Had to ask someone else about my drink after being sat for 10 minutes waiting, then was sat for another 20 or so minutes after I'd finished waiting to pay again had to ask someone else to pay and they disappeared to go get my server. There's only one or two staff members that are helpful all the rest need re training or need to be told how to deal with the public as their attitude is awful. Tired to make a complaint but had no reply. Considering the amount of money I've spent there alone this year I'm greatly disappointed

Food was good. However for the price of almost £80 for 2 people for food and one drink each you would expect to be able to enjoy your meal. Staff were like they were on a night out spent most of the time dancing singing and generally shouting . Hard to talk between us. Was not a good dining experience. One staff said its 20.35 on a Friday crank up the music and started to dance. I think the management need to address this. Also children were also present which was not good for them either

We came for lunch yesterday, food was amazing, our waiter Jason was just brilliant he, always checking if we needed anything and also lovely and chatty, will be coming again

Jason the server has to be one of the best in the business, genuinely kind and very warm welcoming. Taken care of me and the missus after a very busy day and made sure we was taken care of properly. 100 out 100 for Jason

Just want to say Thanks to Jason and Claire and joney I think her name was for making my daughters birthday so special. They brought her cake out an wished her Happy birthday. She doesn't have no family and it ment alot to her that she was special. They was brilliant Table severs was ten out of ten Food was lovely price was so brilliant for what we ordered I was over the moon. Isla said how nice you all was expecially the lady who brought over the cake. The black girl she was so nice . We booked a table for 5 an they let us sit a bit early as it was raining all day we was soacked wet threw Much appreciated guys

1st visit at a TGIs for about 18 months. Dirty tables, sticky menus a lot more care in cleaning required. Hugely overpriced burgers start in the £20++ bracket and are nothing special. Food on the day we went was “just” very average and for the cost should have been out of this world. Chicken stripes dry, overcooked. Need to up the game on food quality or reduce the cost. Service was fine even though our waiter told us 6 times his name I suppose hoping for us to name him in some feedback I assume. Not value for money at all and much better food places to visit with better value. This experience has made me think. I won’t be going back ever to any TGI restaurant in the future. A very honest review.

Good service. Extortionate prices. £20 for a tiny bland chicken burger. There are other places where you can get better burgers for lower prices.

Jason our sever was great. But for us that’s where the great review ends. If you’re thinking of visiting here then keep going and go elsewhere. Wish we’d have read the reviews beforehand. The place felt dirty, all the cutlery on our table was dirty, toilets filthy. The place looks like it needs a good deep clean. Music far too loud, we couldn’t hardly hear each other talking. Cost for what you get is scandalous, never knew TGIs had gone so expensive and don’t bother with the cost of living blah blah, this place is over priced- End of! The food was awful. All the chips were burnt. Portions ( including the kids ) were tiny. We got chicken burgers, the smallest piece of chicken on said burger, cooked so long it was so hard. Smash burgers terrible too. Drinks are also so overpriced. We didn’t even bother to say anything in there, we ate what little we did and left, the kids had had enough and so had we. Will never return to a TGIs again, Wetherspoons round the corner would have been a better choice. Spent just short of £100 and an hour later we was all hungry again. Never in my life have we done that.

Visited around 6pm on Wednesday night. We were a party of 4. Nobody at the front of house upon entering. We had to wait a short while before someone came over. Table we were taken to had dirty seats. They seemed wet with sauce on. Took a while to flag someone down to wipe. Wiped with a wet disposable towel sprayed with disinfectant and just left wet. Would have been nice to have been wiped again with a dry towel after. Instead had to wait a few moments before sitting down. Ordered 3 children's meals and a sesame chicken strips for myself. My son did not like his beef burger which was extremely dry and overcooked. He just took one bite and left it saying it tasted funny. Likewise the crispy chicken burger was just a bun with 2 very small chicken strips inside. On the plus side the children enjoyed their milkshakes and the additional chicken wings I ordered were quite tasty. Sesame strips were ok too but for over £20 quite expensive for what you get. Whilst eating nobody came over and asked us if the food was OK or if we wanted anymore drinks. Ended up having to go to the bar to request some water for my son. Restaurant was only half full and not busy at all. We as a family use to love TGI Fridays but feel that over the years it has just got alot more expensive and level of service is not what it use to be. Unfortunately it will be a long time before we revisit any TGI again after this last experience.

I love TGIs but was extremely disappointed with the food today.My Burger was dripping in fat and the 2 or 3 Patties were soggy and just crumbled into the mess you see in the photo(I only prodded gently with a fork)also they were tasteless,no seasoning at all.Most unlike the lovely butgers I have had before.

The food was very good, but the quantity was a disgrace. Far too little for the hefty price: 4 rib bones for £21.00, salad came without dressing, overall too dirty for a restaurant

Made booking online which was very easy. Had offer through app for £25 off the bill if over £100 was spent. This was then added at tne of the bill. Portions sizes are big, defo value for money Yasmin was our server , she was friendly and gave great recommendations. She recommended the cheesy donuts for a starter , which where gawjus an where bit sweeter than mozzeral sticks. When asked about the drinks she helped us pick an made more great recomendations for us. Helped us to know what offers where availible.she checked on us to make sure we had everything needed. Overall great place for food, drinks and service

Good food and good service. I wish the people working in the bar would have asked us if we wanted anything while waiting for our table. Also, it would have been nice if they had cleared the bar for used glasses the time we sat there. But that was the only drawback. The waiter we had did an awesome job. He made sure we had something to drink the whole time. And he knew to check if we needed something, but not to the extent it was to muc. The food was good. And the eight of us left in a good mood

The service was excellent the young lady was pleasant Ans very friendly. The food however was a different story. I had the double messy burger which was tasteless and burnt I also had the maple bacon cheese fries these were soggy and cold. We both had two cherry cola cocktails the first two were alright the second two were disgusting too strong and not even stirred properly. I'd have gone to spoons and paid half the price of here and got better food. Tgi Fridays has gone down hill big time won't eat there again ever!!

Arrived with the family around 6pm on a Wednesday. Restaurant was maybe half full. Waited at the main entrance to be seated. And waited. And waited. Other groups joined behind us. And we all waited. And waited. All we got was a passing “someone will be over”. They never did. After around 10-15 minutes of being ignored we left and went somewhere else.

Visted on Saturday 13th July. Waited 20 minutes for a table, which was Ok as it was 6pm. Seated upstairs and nobody came to take our order for ten minutes so we walked out. There were plenty of staff and it wasn't overly busy, there were plenty of empty seats. The place has really gone down hill, seats were dirty, floors were a mess. It was just pretty shabby. It's also pretty gross that the food comes out right by the toilet door.

Omg the prices now… menus changed a little. Not for the better. Sesame chicken was ok but the starter prawns are not the same as they use to be.

Poorly cooked and raw meals. The waiter said that they cook from frozen and do not always have time to defrost 😁 £25...

Paid £25 for a burger and chips. The burger was the driest most tasteless burger I’ve ever eaten. I could have genuinely had a better meal in Wetherspoons for a third of the price. It was absolutely extortionate. Please do not waste your hard earned money eating in this place. The whole place is filthy and the muck on the chairs sticks you to your seat. The whole venue needs a pressure wash. £100 for 3 burger and chips and some nachos. Really wished I’d walked out the moment I bit into that dry, overcooked burger. The only redeeming quality was the waitress who was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, no one will leave you a tip after eating there. You should find a job somewhere that doesn’t rip its customers off and where the chef can actually cook, people would be far more inclined to tip.

My son age 16 wanted to go to TGI Fridays to celebrate the end of school. I booked through the TGI Fridays grabbing as many vouchers I could: free dessert, free cocktail, meal deal. We arrived early and was suprised to see the place half empty. Sat down ordered a cocktail - cheekily branded as ‘buy one get one free’ at £16 (that’s misleading and not buy one get one free - if it was, the price would have been £8). Our food arrived… Over cooked potato skins at nearly £9 A char-grilled chicken burger where the chicken was so charred it was inedible Nachos which had clearly been pre made and sitting out all day so they were soggy Honestly there are so many better choices out there and restaurants which charge you properly and don’t rip you off. I think TGI Fridays has had its day… and I’m sorry but I just can’t recommend it. Back in the 90’s TGI’s was the place to go - now it’s over priced and over rated. Sorry to say this but I really would recommend you go elsewhere.

Extremely long wait for food and loud music

We were kindly sent for our meal here by make a wish on the way to the Taylor swift concert, the table was all set out lovely with a hat, balloons and Taylor swift wordsearches, the staff were amazing couldn't do enough for us, food was absolutely beautiful and made our day really special thank you to you all esp the lady who was painting the 13's on hands with glitter 💛 highly recommended

We booked for Bottomless Brunch before we saw Taylor Swift and chose TGI as it was close to our hotel. Jason was the most amazing waiter, we had so much fun with him and their knowledge, enthusiasm and joy was the very best. He kept us topped up with plenty of Prosecco and bigged up his beautiful city perfectly. I truly hope he enjoyed Night 3 of the gigs in Liverpool. All of the staff worked so hard and were having a blast, it's clear they're a great team. Thank you so much! 💜

Food was excellent, I had Cajun chicken pasta which is not something I would normally have..loved it. Great position on the terrace, weather good also, staff all friendly and helpful 👍☀️

Josh was an incredible server for our groups visit on Saturday, really quick and friendly service. Food is much more expensive than I had realised, but was delicious - portion was a little on the small side for the cost.

Went for lunch with my husband and ordered sesame chicken strips. The strips were soggy and ladened in sauce, the meal was horrible. We sent back and ordered a more expensive meal. The rump steak was tough and tasteless, my husbands ribs were tiny in comparison to the ones he had at the Cheshire Oaks site a few weeks prior. We were then over charged on the bill and had to have it adjusted. The price on the menu was not what the till generated. So check you bills when you go pay! We were very disappointed with our £57 meal !

Smallest piece of chicken in a chicken burger I have ever had for £18 the price was ridiculous my husband had new York steak strip and there was hardly any chips for £28 not worth it, for 2 glasses of pop and the above £57 sorry but i like value for money as well as quality

Would not recommend. Very rundown. Nachos were microwaved, fajitas were tasteless, chicken fingers were burnt to a crisp and the moretti was flat. Only redeeming features were the mozzarella sticks and a lovely waitress.

Avoid!! On walking in I should have known it was empty on lunch time, the place was dirty, dust everywhere, tables dirty, seats so sticky you couldn't slide in on the seats , the waiter seemed impatient kept coming back every 60 seconds, we ordered food it was rank the burger was like chewing a Cork coaster, the pasta was dried and over cooked, we where entertaining friends from USA it was embarrassing to say the least 🤔 for the price we paid the food was sparce not like the photos at all. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else !

Very small overcooked portion of potato skins to start with. When I say small I mean tiny. Main course of sesame chicken strips enormous by comparison, but also overcooked like the potato skins. Staff friendly enough.

A restaurant that offers many meals and dishes with delicious taste and distinguished service. It requires requesting a table from the staff before entering.

Went for bottomless brunch. Food was good although not a massive amount to choose from. Same with the cocktails,the choice was limited so it got a bit repetitive after a few drinks,could do with more options.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. The waitress who assisted us kept coming back to our table asking if we needed anything. And she was smiling all the time. The food was fantastic! It was cooked to perfection. The servings were also big. Pina Colada was also delicious. Prices are reasonable. Only concern is the cleanliness of the place. They need to ensure that the dining area is clean and well maintained.

Food was terrible, over priced and cold. Sons burgers bun was rock solid. Restaurant was filthy, either they don’t have a cleaner or they were on strike. My daughter went the toilet with her daddy and he had to bring her out to use the ladies as they were block and disgusting. We went at 1pm and it was pretty empty so wasn’t even after a long busy day. Staff were friendly and pleasant though and we did get a discount for the unsatisfactory food.

Love the location! And the staff are all super friendly! Good customer services from josh. From memory I paid around £18.00-£23.00 for my burger and it was a 3/10.. tastes like a burger from king burger ( and obviously 3x the price ) I thought the kids meal was good value for money and my son was very happy with what it came with! I like the place but it's way to high for the quality of food. - I'd say it's a 3/5 - price needs to be dropped by 15%-20%

We very rarely go out for food but thought TGI's would be a nice experience with our kids (2 and 3 years old), what an expensive mistake. I booked the table for 1.30pm, we had to wait for the table which is fine but we sat at the bar and were never even offered a drink after waiting 20 minutes and it was incredibly loud, not even an apology for the wait. We were eventually taken upstairs where it was even louder as we were below the speaker, so loud we had to ask for it to be turned down, which to be fair they did. It took a long time for drinks to arrive and then food order taken. It was very expensive! £19.50 for chicken strips and chips?! We tried to justify it with the kids mains being free with an offer. When the food came it was warm at best and they brought a chicken burger not beef for.my son (they were quick yo replace but it was a stale bun, dry meat, awful). We ordered ice cream for the children and paid when we ordered dessert to save waiting even longer. 30minutes later and no sign of the ice cream, not even a server and it was completely empty upstairs except us. We decided to leave and get them ice cream from a van in Liverpool one as it wad ridiculous and the kids were getting upset. We told front of house on the way out, they apologised but didn't offer to rectify. Absolutely awful, we will not be returning to any TGI.

My son and his girlfriend were staying in Liverpool and booked a table for 10pm! They walked in and heard the bar staff say, oh look you’ve jinxed it they turned up. Then took there time seating then and serving them! Then told the kitchen closed in 5 minutes! Throughout the meal they kept looking over waiting for them to eat their food! Absolutely disgusting! They were away celebrating my son’s birthday! I suggest you either stop taking bookings for that time and hire staff that want to work and not counting on customers not turning up!!!!

Thanks to Nathan for making some lovely cocktails and pulling perfect pints. He was a good laugh! We had an awesome time and will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed a midweek two course meal for £18.99 each. I believe this option is available Sunday to Thursday only. It is good value because a burger meal alone can cost more than this. I found the food tasty and the service prompt.

Booked for cocktail making and our host Nathan was amazing he kept us all entertained and was very welcoming and polite. Great night well worth the money

The burgers with Jack Daniels sauce are great as always. The fries are also hot and tasty. But salads can be tasteless, drinks are disproportionately expensive. In this establishment, the sofas were so greasy that it was unpleasant to sit on them.

My Best friend and I, visited here on Thursday 8th of Feb 2024. The best service I have ever had in a TGI's! Our server Katy, was brilliant, great customer service, attention to detail, happy, friendly and we were made to feel so welcome. Well done! She is a credit to your restaurant! Thank you

Nice to spend some time with friends

I don’t ever leave reviews but that is possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had. Drinks - advertising it as 2for1 cocktails is cool but when you’re charging £14 for a cocktail in a glorified Frankie and Bennys I wonder what’s the point. I’d rather just pay £7 than think I was getting a deal. We considered leaving at that point but opted to stay. Food- we ordered a Cajun chicken pasta that was basically just oily pasta with chargrilled chicken. It has no flavour and was clearly burnt chicken. At £18 for pasta I wish we’d just gone to one of the nicer places in L1 and paid the same for a nice meal. We also got the double burger which was simply OK, lacking in flavour and I think I’d have got a nicer meal at McDolands for 1/3 of the price. The service was fine and I’m not the sort of person who complains to the waitress so we just ate a bit, paid (a ridiculous amount of money for what it was) and left. I wouldn’t ever leave a review positive or negative and I let myself sleep on it but I’m almost more annoyed today than yesterday.

Haven't been to a TGI's in a long time, 10 years so was a little unsure what to expect. However from initial entry to paying the bill the team, in particular Micky who was fantastic! Looked after us throughout without being over nearing. Drinks were never empty for long and the whiskey sours were on point! Thank you,

Lovely place, little wait time, good hot and tasty

Service was OK, not excellent but nothing wrong in particular apart from the waiter being slightly confused with the meal order. Appetisers were quite nice but the burger was pretty tasteless and not worth the money. I was waiting for so long I even sobered up...

Went for my 60th Birthday and it was a treat to be sure excellent service food was so good we didn't have time for dessert so went back and had it after the show we were seeing

We came eating at around 8:30pm Friday evening,and I was completely impressed by this level of restaurant.I have been working as a chef "now executive chef in Malta" for 15 years and this was definitely the best restaurant I have ever been in my life 💯

The £9.99 lunch deal is alright - just be warned that for the burger specifically it is an extra £3.00. Overall, I had a positive experience here today. The food was excellent and the service was prompt.

Had dinner here on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was reasonably busy and atmosphere was good. Service not overly fast but was pleasant. We had the cajun chicken pasta and the messy cheese burger. Portions aren't huge but was more enough. Used the 2 for 1 cocktail and enjoyed post meal. But at £16 a pop, they are expensive.

Just had some £6 ribs from Sainsburys which reminded me to review this place. The ultimate ribs for £30 were tiny, with no meat, and tasteless and yea drastically worse than 5x cheaper store ribs. The fries were like the cheapest frozen fries from Asda. The drinks were crazy overpriced and gimmicky.

The food was very overpriced we had ribs and for just under £19 each the portion was very small 5 bones very small fries and a small corn on the cob will not be returning.

Had very limited choice of drinks as they had ran out of gas and they wouldn't honour offer menu as they couldn't serve the drinks that went with it didn't allow substitutions- disappointed. Service and food were good

Served by josh. Who forgot to put our order through. Blamed it on a system brakedown even tho people served after us received their orders. He then brought the chips to the table so it didn't look like we'd been forgotten about and 10 mins later our burgers arrived. Food however tasted lovely, so kudos to the kitchen team. Came in today the venue was very clean the man at the desk was very helpful and welcomed me as I waited At the bar I could see the guy waiting on a couple he was very attentive to there needs . It was nice to walk into a clean establishment with the music not so loud the atmosphere was calm and friendly definitely worth a visit

Worst value for money EVER DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! This attempt of a 1/2 rack of ribs was an extortionate £18.80, and was no bigger than the size of a kids meal- hence the £1 coin reference A total perfect example of rip off greed by this franchise 2nd photo shows the total amount of meat once separated from the bones. This was not a one off example either, as my colleague had exactly the same meal and too was a tiny portion. Zero stars for the food Waitress was lovely, and I think was embarrassed with the serving and clearly uncomfortable when we took photos with the coin.

Visited a few times - Always excellent service. Jason especially is always friendly and pleasant. Vibrant atmosphere and the potato skins are to die for!! As is the cajun chicken. Well worth a visit during a busy shopping trip.

Bit of a weird one this. Went here a few weeks back. Staff were lovely, due to shortages we had a 30min wait and business was slow. We were looked after however during this time, as we are patient. Food wasn't great, menu looked tired and worn, my burger was a bit tough, chewy and warm not exactly fresh and hot as my burgers usually are. I eat nothing but burgers and visited a tgi in Athens when I lived there for 3 months and in comparison the Liverpool branch underperformed massively. Everything seems dirty, table wasn't spotless, small and cramped sitting by the til and directly opposite the open door it was cold and lacking privacy having a member of staff stood behind you on a d off whilst they do what they do on their table. Wasn't the tgi experience I'm used too at all. Based on this I'd likely not come again, there are MANY burger places in Liverpool one. Still, a shame being a big fan of TGI.

They gave our table away after we had pre booked, it was my grandsons birthday and they nearly ruined it for him. Luckily, another restaurant was able to fit our big party of people in but bad management from the tgi fridays.

Waited over half hour for food. Place not really busy, when food arrived burger was stone cold. Waitress asked if i wanted another? When that arrived it was warm not hot. Dont know whats happened there been a few times and always been really nice. Won't be going back.

Not the TGI we used to dine. Can’t find even a single light in the darkness…

Visited on Sunday and decided to sit inside to benefit from the air con. Tables and seats all sticky and with crumbs. The waitress didn’t know what the bottomless brunch includes which I find really surprising. I don’t blame the lady but more the management who does not brief the staff on the products. Tex mex Salad was mediocre. We have been waiting long to being asked for drinks . Beer was cold though and I liked it. 50£ for two salads and two beers. Not my cup of tea I am afraid.
