Very expensive! £18 for a basic burger and chips

Menu has been massively reduced in the last few months and prices hiked. £160 for 4 sets of burgers and a drink plus couple of sides. Definitely not worth it. Upgrading your chips to sweet potato will cost you an extra £3. Jack Daniels glaze now removed from almost all meals and they'll charge you £1.25 for a tiny pot if you ask for it. Staff work hard but the menu choice and prices mean we won't be back.

I just want to say James Bromley at this store provided exceptional service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our order of a smashed burger and meatless chicken strips with chips and refillable drinks was prepared quickly and tasted delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The only minor suggestion would be self-service drinks for added convenience. Overall, our experience was fantastic and we highly recommend this restaurant and thank you again to James for a wonderful visit.

The appetisers were very disappointing. Quite small, a little bland (mozzarella dippers and potatoes skins). The mains were reasonable. The ribs were tasty and the chicken was moist. The Cajun Mac n cheese was very disappointing. Not very tasty. The prices seem on the high side considering the venue and the food served. Most certainly not value for money. The service was really good. Our server checked in on us, was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately I fell into the trap of thinking I was getting a deal on the drinks. The menu said 2for1 cocktails. Initially I thought how expensive can a cocktail be, I couldn't see the price on the menu. So we ordered 2for1. Later during our visit, I thought I'd check. £16 for on cocktail. That is ridiculous. It's only £11 at The Alchemist, which is actually a cocktail bar. That's not buy one get one free. If the were £8/9 each I would not of quibbled but £16 is so past the mark. There weren't even very good. This really put a dampener on an OKay meal

First visit in over a yeat. TGIs not as good as it used to be. Very quiet, no atmosphere. Food average. Portion sizes have reduced and prices increased. Probably wont return to the chain as others are far superior.

We came here on the 21st of August 2024 to celebrate my nieces 18th birthday. I must say I’ve never been to anyone of this chains restaurants and I was absolutely delighted from the second we arrived to the second we left. James otherwise known as Hagrid was a fantastic person and served us all evening, as we had made them aware that I was blind, he went the extra mile to let me know where he was putting things on the table. He truly went above and beyond his job to make sure we had a really good time. Well, it is a little pricey here the food quality and standards are excellent And I must say the portions were perfect. One thing I also like about this chain of restaurants is that they do not add a service charge for this. I was more than happy to give James a tip for his service alone. Also, they surprised my niece with a small birthday cake, this was a fabulous touch and it shows that they really do care about looking after the customer. Would I come here again definitely once I have saved up.

Very dated now. The new menu was very small and options were poor in comparison to old menu and portion sizes were shocking! We left still hungry having had starters and mains and we are not big eaters! £18 for a burger the size of the palm if my hand is well on the high side and the Frank's sharing boneless bites we got 8 and they were less than size on a 10p piece!

Wonderful and happy service, dealing amazingly well with this food allergies. Tasty food. I loved the chicken fajita. Great atmosphere too. Will be back for sure.

It's just so expensive for what it is... Nice and friendly service with a good menu, but the price to quality is way off and I wouldn't be returning.

We've always loved TGI's but on the 31st of August our lunch was not to the usual standard...we ordered fahitas. The wraps were hard...the service made up for it which is why we didn't complain! And how can you justify £11.25 for one glass of wine??? Wont be going again!!!

Great meal which came very quickly. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. The mocktail I had was also really good.

7 Adults & 2 Children almost £300! Prices are ridiculous for basic pub quality food that took an age to arrive. We were there almost 3 hours, not through choice. We even had to wait half an hour to have the bill processed & brought to us. Kids eat free?... Only with a time restricted code from the app, one per child! Never again!

I haven't eaten at this chain for some time, and was deliciously surprised! They have a vegan burger on the menu now, and it was really delicious! It came with mushrooms, melty Applewood cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, red onions and pickle. They were out of stock of the garlic aioli dressing, but I was given a Jack Daniels one instead. It was a little sweet for me, but really, really delicious, with the sweetness really balancing the savoury flavour of the burger. The small pot should be more than enough of your sugar allowance for the day. It came with plain fries, which were also very tasty. My partner ordered the nachos and sweet potatoe fries, and we shared some spicy onion rings, both really delicious. The thing that stood out the most for me was the service, and our server, Jack Kaye was amazing! The way he welcomed us and came and introduced himself shortly after we sat down was very memorable. He said something like, "Hi I'm Jack, and I'll be your server today. If you need anything at all, just let me know." We eat out a fair bit, and sometimes I haven't experienced that standard of introduction in some of the better restaurants! He took our drinks order pretty quickly, and the food arrived pretty quickly too. He regularly checked if our food was ok, was friendly and chatty too, but also had the right aire of professionalism about him, like he cared about his job. The other staff gave great service too, and we really loved that idea you have of having the chef come out and serve the food to you! It says on the qr code card you gave us that "We're making TGI Fridays better", well so far you're getting it right in my book! Great experience all round, and when we're next up in that neck of the woods, we will definitely be calling in again!

Overall very nice, had burgers with a friend and was unlimited soft drinks. Soon as drink was low server grabbed another which was great. Only down side definitely on the expensive side for that you get. Doesn't mean it wasn't tasty just with the price of a main put me off adding startes/sides/deserts.

Absolutely disgusting food, left half of it, really overpriced. HORRIBLE.

£20 for abit of chicken and fries. Could have made better in airfryer at home. And as for £6.20 for a bottle of bud. Shocking!! Definitely won't be going back. No wonder people don't eat out.

Kids eat for free for every adult meal. Great deal but the adult meals seem to have gone up a lot in price over the last few years.

We went at about 4:30 so it was quiet. The food was nice and the service was really good.

I really can't fault the friendly staff barring the server who mistakenly thought he could remember our order and returned to the table three times for a reminder, only to have the wrong order turn up meaning i had to wait for mine while my wife ate hers. Granted, the item was removed from the bill (with the item that turned up in its place ! ). The food was distinctly average and distinctly overpriced for what it was . All in all, it's not the best, and I can't imagine a return . My wife's steak was 28 pounds ! Overall bill £87.90 !

I was really looking forwards to renting the hog dog and all I got was a hot dog, nothing on it in a roll. not happy.

Food was tasty although the steaks weren't cooked as ordered one of the desserts was missed off the order but they did sort it out the waitress who dealt with us was absolutely fantastic couldn't fault her really friendly even posed for photos with our group over all a really great night

We had mozzarella dippers and chicken wings to start followed by cajun chicken pasta, sesame chicken and loaded fries for mains (mains in the pic). Nice food, good portion sizes. Got asked to go to the bar for a drink before being seated which seemed to take forever but other than that pretty fast service.

I came here a couple of days ago with my family at least 15 of us to celebrate a birthday our waitress Ciara was so lovely nothing was too much to ask, service with a smile, made sure we had everything we needed she’s a credit to her workplace will be returning 🩷

Visited here last week, food was absolutely lovely - no complaints. The waitress however, was very rude. A young girl with long, too-bleached hair, actually rolled her eyes at us and stropped off when we said we weren't ready to order.... and was utter miserable for the rest of the time as well. Clearly didn't want to be there, but not acceptable in a customer facing role like this.

The menu is small, which is a good thing cause then you don't have to deal with the stress of choosing. We got a starter of mozzarella dippers to share. They were nice and gooey but it was a bit strange that the tomato sauce was mouth burning and the mozarella was not. We then got a main of the New york strip steak and a side of macaroni cheese. The steak had more fat on it than meat, which i found disappointing. Macaroni cheese tasted nice but nothing special. A can of Heinz would have also tasted the same. All in all it was not worth the 81 pounds between the 2 of us. With 1 portion of mozarella dippers, 2 steaks, 1 macaroni and 2 drinks. Service was good. I do feel sorry for the young girl that was working, she was running around like Max Verstappen trying to keep everyone happy. The young male server was nice until he basically told the whole restaurant his girlfriend and 2 friends were coming. When they arrived he dropped everything and went and sat with them for 10 minutes, the poor girl was serving 5-6 tables alone.

Never been to TGIs previously so didn't know what to expect. They had a deal on the menu for 2 courses at a set price which was great value. I ordered calamari to start which was a little overcooked for my liking but still good and then sesame chicken which was phenomenal. Service from hagrid was superb.

WOW!!!! very expensive. Small menue with not much verity and all mains are £18+ which is absolutely not worth it!! Had a strange meal and will definitely not be returning. Could never justify the cost. For a drink and a main it was £56 luckily we got the deserts free with the loyalty scheme otherwise it would have been £78!!

Always have amazing service here and has become a family favourite for celebrating. Food is to die for, especially the wall to wall chicken platter!

It's just really hard to justify returning here as it's so expensive for what it is. The food is nice and the service good - but not worth the prices on the menus.

Tgi fridays As we arrive there were great smile and good service. Got seated and a good presentation of the menu. We got a mixed starter, there were great and tasteful. As main course the Friday burger with fries. It look ok, but didnt tsste good a little to sweet in my taste. One Thing, it is strange that there is refill on diet Coke and not normal. Im allergic to sweetners, and have to drink regular suger soda. The price is to high if you look at Quality of what you get. A BIG high five to The waiter Safiane for great service.

Poor portion size in relation to menu and online chips cold and service slow food was delivered to table but no staff to help after this. We did point out to manager but its to late to replace or resolve issue

Lunch with 2 granddaughters. Ridiculously priced could not believe that a Fanta orange was over £4 ! Did nt want to cause a fuss as it was a treat for the children but if they had nt been there would have objected to portions/prices .

Nicely cooked food, however the prices are too high. Went with my boyfriend and paid £52 for 2 average mains (chicken and chips and the ribs) and a drink each. We would have had dessert but all the main meals are over £20 now. Not worth it for the price. Service was good however and the gentleman that served us was very friendly.

Had a great server Hagrid was amazing really friendly and get a keep us topped up on drinks, plus the other server sorry don't know you name was really friendly too.

The portion size of chips & chicken strips were really small & I ordered corn on the corn but only received one. I order from here regularly & for the price they charge I expect to be full after eating!

Unfortunately prices have risen to a level which is now above those at local pubs that serve good home cooked food. The atmosphere is more like a Motorway Services. Our server was delightful. Will not return anytime soon. Not VFM

We found the food excellent quality and enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, especially the Italian waiter. I chose a free dessert due to downloading the app. A coiple of inches of toasted meringue on top of my biscoff sundae...yummm! Would have been £8.55 (😳🤯), so "thank you" TGI Fridays. The only problem we had was with prices, I'm afraid. We thought they were too high, unfortunately. Both food and drink. We enjoyed the food, but unsure if we'll return. We're 'empty nesters' now but discussed if we had the family alongside us in our visit that we'd almost need a mortgage! Few vegan/vegetarian options. I was limited in this being honest being a veggie. Music was very loud. Perhaps We're older, and it just wasn't for us.

Hollie and the awl fella sound… There was some confusion with which store our click on collect was to be collected from. We ended up at a store 20 miles away from the Birstall one (correct one) I rang them they said no problem couldn’t have been more helpful remade the food that had gone cold even tho was our mistake .Asking how far we were so I would be warm when we got there. Then even give us the spare food that had gone cold. Not the type of service you expect from a TGI. Or most resteraunts to be fair. I really hope they are valued by the company. We went 23rd December, but dubious as my son has allergies but their website looked as though they take it seriously (as so many places don't we usually check reviews etc so not a wastes trip) we neednt have worries as soon as I mentioned the allergies we had another person come over to double check our order and ask if we wanted any substitutes. Really impressed with the professionlism and because of this we now have a new favorite restaurant! Keep up the good work TGI

A birthday treat for my husband, a last minute decision to go TGI Fridays and so glad we did. We walked in without booking, and considering its Christmas and a Saturday they were happy to seat us, 5 adults 3 babies. All staff are so attentive, and nice couldn't do more to be helpful. We didn't order starters as we'd never been before decided just to order mains, two adult cheese bugers with bacon fries, one adult chicken fingers, one extra cheesy burger, cajun chicken pasta, two kids chicken nugget meals and tiger fries, and a added treat 2 of the pigs in blankets. Waited about 25 mins, and considering it was heaving I was impressed. All the food was presented well,and looked appetising. The children's meals looked nice, and well portioned. I can honestly say well worth the trip over, yes expensive bill £143, considering other cheaper alternative restaurants, but it was so nice finding somewhere that was so good, not one complaint,and we was full by the end so didn't have a pudding. If u get the app you get offers there and then, we got free children's meal so took £12 off bill. Very happy indeed, will definitely return and definitely recommend.

Overly expensive now for the quality of food

The service at this restaurant was shocking, the waiter looking after our table was rude as soon as we sat down. He shouted at my daughter when our drinks arrived telling her to make sure my two year old grandson didn't spill his drink. Our starter's came out whilst my daughter was in the toilet and were dumped on the table. Worse was yet to come. My grandson was playing between tables, making no noise at all and not bothering any other customers, again the same waiter came to the table and asked us both to control the child. At this point we were both so on edge that the meal was spoilt. This is a family restaurant we were there at lunchtime and when I complained to the manager I was informed this was his best member of staff. I feel sorry for anyone who gets the worst. The price has shot up too and after today we will not be going back. The stars given were for the food only

The place to visit, whatever the occasion. Last time it was Halloween, then recently Christmas 🎄 in the air. It might be worth coming in for Valentines or Easter! Even just for the decorations. The Hoisin Wings and pig-in-blankets are excellently succulent if you want to avoid the chilli 🌶 flakes. Or the mocktails. The mixologist came up with a berries dash of strawberry, raspberry, cranberry on crushed ice. Delicious 😋.

Cajun onion rings wasn't cooked long enough and the portion chicken ans sesame chicken strips meal portion was tiny very disappointing after paying 20 pounds in total

The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We'd pre-booked, but there was lots of room when we arrived anyway.

Really expensive and to say we didn't get what we went there for as they had run out off rack of ribs main thing we went there for had to settle for shrimp starter then burger and chips for main made a mistake with my bill charged me £24.07p then was told it didn't charge me for everything and still had £50.70p to pay so all paid £75.00 quid for are food that we didn't really go there for would of been more than happy to pay if we got what we went there for which had run out not go back not worth money and service was rubbish even charged me and then come back cos she had got it wrong then manager had to come and help take another lot of money cos first waiter didn't know what she had done and we still don't know just know it cost 75 quid in end. Or and asked for no tomato and came with tomato so they had to take it back and then just asked if it could be same meal just take the tomatoes of and give same cooked meal back minus tomatoes not happy but hey it was an expensive rubbish experience won't go back.

Patricia was our server today. She made sure that we were comfortable and always has drinks, making sure we were always enjoying our food and is just overall a friendly person to interact with.

Pat is amazing, she is always friendly and makes sure we are okay with the service and the food. She always makes genuine conversation and is great with the little one. She's a very welcoming person and makes sure to see to us and always gives us time to decide what we want, even though we take a while!
