TGI Fridays - Leeds Junction 27 in Kirklees

Gone downhill food is so overpriced, which is a shame as I loved TGI over £20 for a average burger! That's more expensive than leeds centre nice restaurants.

Had a lovely family meal here, food was delicious and service was excellent.

We remembered the the branch by IKEA had an outside area, thought we would enjoy the sun, along with some cocktails, the cocktails were amazing, we then had some nibbles, the staff as always were all friendly & very attentive, food was tasty & no doubt we will be back soon.

Absolute terrible time the few times I've visited at this particular tgi's which is the closest to my location! i really like the food but the way i have been treated is appalling!the staff there are mostly very young and rude,especially to my wife and seemed very short with baby shouting, which i cant control! This is highly unprofessional! 😕 the first time hair in my food and i was stood by the door for much longer than 10 minutes with physical health problems. The second time I ordered a glass of coke zero to discover half way down there were a white residue on the inside of the glass! When I asked what this was I was told I do not know! Which was even more concerning to me. The restaurant is absolutely freezing each time we have been we have come back simply for the food as my son is a very fussy eater and this is something he requests! The food is amazing and far from the problem apart from being undercooked on one occasion,. Each time we have chosen this location Me and my family have been placed at the side of the restaurant where we sit with our coats on, it is even worse for me as I have bad blood circulation. Me and family sat down today to eat and was told our host would be over to take our order and we were sat there for 15 minutes waiting and watching others being served and when trying to flag people down one of the 4 didn't pretend not to hear me after 15 minutes! We further was waiting 20 minutes a time for our bottomless chicken to come out after pre ordering on the first batch which i dont believe to be satisfactory as i was ready for more and ordering more and it wasnt been brought over and with the actions and attitude of staff im not sire if this is deliberate but it certainly feels it! Im not sure if it is just my family who they treat this way but I hope this isnt something they are doing on a regular basis and getting away with! I really don't understand and am very shocked how such a big establishment could be ok with projecting this kind of service and it makes me not want to go back even under these circumstances I've shown respect and integrity but I am very cross regarding this and feel robbed of my money for the service I've received. I must say hollie the manager is lovely and very outgoing.

Hagrid was brilliant my friend and I haven't enjoyed a night like this for a long time. Apart from being friendly he was like a host with most. 10 out of 10

Servers are so friendly and food is too good

first time in TGI, place is nice , nothing on menu to suit me but hubby and granddaughter had lunch while i watched/ waited, TGI cant please everyone , atmosphere quiet-ish as earky on, staff friendly and service was good, keep up the good work guys 😊

Came here for a family meal. Burger was nice, fries were super delicious as always. Staff were helpful and present. Music playing and American theme throughout the restaurant. Good time

Went this evening for tea with our little boy . Our server was Jade and is truly fantastic at her job . Attentive friendly service with beautiful food. Jade made a special effort with our shy 5 year old son . Tonight was our first visit but we will definitely be back for a treat. Thank you Jade 😊

We went to try get a kids offer ... Family of 5. On arrival, sat quickly and served quickly. We specifically asked about the kids eat free offer .. to be told yes, you get an adult meal, you get a kids meal free. So we ordered. Food arrived quickly. We found it expensive comparable to other restaurants in the area and in general, but was tasty and a good amount. Then we found the the small print was missing from all advertising... Only one code can be used for free one meal. This was disappointing and left us feeling a little conned. Due to the cost and difficulty in getting the offers, doubtful I will return with the family. To be fair to the server, they told us to download another app on another device and use another code ... It worked, but what a faff. It's the companies fault .. not the staff. Overall ... Won't return quickly with my family. Food was good, staff good, just pricey and difficult to navigate. Cheaper options that are as good are available.

Went on a Thursday so was quiet. Service was excellent. Food was good. 2 for 1 on all cocktails and mocktails is a great idea.

Great experience and fantastic food! I can't remember the name of my server, but he was fantastic! He made sure my family was looked after and kept bringing drinks when ours got low.

Lovely food served by Stephen nothing was too much for him. Fast service food cooked perfectly, had chicken and bacon burger chips were delicious!! All for £7!! Tasty bargain with a great host and fab atmosphere, thanks TGI junction 27!!

The staff were really nice, but you pay a lot of money for food which is very average.

Food was pretty good, service was presant but nothing special, it was someone's birthday and they got sang to and the claps but you could tell the staff wanted to be anywhere but there, pretty poor tbh, on personal preference the normal coke isn't on the bottomless drinks ( joke tbh), they ran out of blackcurrant cordial (realy), aparently they don't sell tea's or coffee, they got rid of the share starter platter which was perfect as it had a bit of multiple starters now the new one is chicken and more expencive and to top it off when the bill arrived it was from a different table, and when the server realised there was no tip the service went from poor to non existent and silent

Service was poor, there seemed to be a lot of staff but not very attentive. Food was alright.

We went on New Year’s Eve to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday the food and service was excellent Thank you. Our waitress Dannie made our visit extra special.

The atmosphere and the staff are great but the prices are laughable. Over £20 for some frozen chicken strips and chips. Near enough £10 for a few mozzarella dippers. Ripping people off

Works Christmas Lunch, 8 people served at same time, all food came out together, waitress very attentive too, never had to ask for refills.

I ordered from here and they cancelled my order. It said it was going to get picked up yet they cancelled it?? I’m disappointed.

Absolutely banging food , service was great very quick and friendly staff,we had a wowcher and 5 of us ate starter, main, and cocktail less then 85quid .highly reccomend.

There was a little pack of puzzles and crayons on arrival which kept the little one entertained while waiting and the food was very quick. We had asked for things to be left out of our child's meal which were left in and the crispy bacon was left out of one meal in error . Some was brought on a side plate but it had never seen crispy. One meal was also quite cold. The staff insisted on replacing it and it was definitely better hot. But overall the food was just too average for the price tag. It had the muted flavours of mass preparation in advance. At over £20 for a burger there are definitely tastier ways to spend your money.

Fantastic bottomless brunch today. Sofiane was our host. Super friendly, polite and was attentive. Food was top quality and drinks never dissopoint. Highly recommend 👌

Just your standard Overpriced generic TGIs

Sat waiting for ages to be served in a empty restaurant , the girls was more interested in following each other around like lost sheep rather than take orders, eventually served, food came was really nice but crazy prices, asked for refill on drink told 2 min , 20 min asked for bill an refill of drink , got eyes rolled at us like we had asked for some thing out of ordinary not to refill the refillable drink, Won't bother going there again, Prices was ridiculous for what it was an service was beyond poor

It didn't start well really. Asked for a table for five in a half empty restaurant only to be told there were no tables available. Left. Booked a table for five for ten minutes later and went back in. Same person told us there were no servers on that side of the restaurant but found us a table anyway. We ordered food and an hour later it showed up. Charred (burnt) and gristly steak. 2 onions rings, a slither of wilted lettuce and four tomatoes along with chips equals a £29 new York strip. The entire bill for three adults and two kids all mains only came to £163. Didn't realize at the time but many of the things on the bill didn't correspond to the prices on the menu. For example the new York strip could have king prawns added for £6 but we were charged £10 for each portion. That's four prawns to a portion btw. Milkshakes just short of £8 each. Overall the food was tasty but it was nowhere near worth the price we paid and to top it off there was a very rowdy bunch of Halloween dressed women climbing on the seats and falling over while none of the staff intervened.

One of the best TGIF branches I’ve come across. Customer service by Hagrid was superb.

Life long TGIer, been going to this restaurant all my life. Sadly in recent visits I’ve been extremely disappointed. Food is incredibly over priced for what it is. Portion sizes seem to have been incredibly cut back. Quality seems to have taken a nose dive too. A member of our group paid £40 for a steak which was tiny and has more plate showing than food! £5 for the turf “upgrade” which consisted of 3 prawns!! Seems a lot of details have been cut back too - noticed they’ve swapped all condiments to bland low fat versions, no free refills on regular Coke etc. It is no wonder TGI are struggling. I don’t mind paying a bit, before it felt much better value, and now it feels cheap and that everything is done on minimum. Only good thing I have to say is the staff are great, but sadly that isn’t enough. I will find it difficult to justify a return.

One of our favourite places to go, the food is always amazing never a fault with anything. I always get the sesame chicken as a starter they are to die for. The cocktails are awesome too, it's great you have the 2for1 offer with those as they are delicious.will be back again soon for definite.

Simply put....the food was cold, had to be returned twice, tasteless and boring but the staff were doing their best in an obviousrly failed business

Bit expensive really for what you get. 2 glasses of cola, 2 starters and 2 small portions of fries and its..... over £40..... I know places are struggling but prices that high are one of the reasons. Lower prices a bit and get more customers and you cover more running costs

This is an update to when we went there 2 years ago at that time we gave it 4 stars. We went again a couple of months ago, wow, what a change. Same place same good service but the food and prices. I don't know what has happened here. Small portions that are okay if you're on a strict diet, the smallest chicken burger, and a portion of chips I have ever seen, and the prices are way way over the top. I suggest you look at the menu before you go in as I personally think it's way over the top for both food and drinks. Especially when you see what's put in front of you.

I just want to say James Bromley at this store provided exceptional service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our order of a smashed burger and meatless chicken strips with chips and refillable drinks was prepared quickly and tasted delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The only minor suggestion would be self-service drinks for added convenience. Overall, our experience was fantastic and we highly recommend this restaurant and thank you again to James for a wonderful visit.

Menu has been massively reduced in the last few months and prices hiked. £160 for 4 sets of burgers and a drink plus couple of sides. Definitely not worth it. Upgrading your chips to sweet potato will cost you an extra £3. Jack Daniels glaze now removed from almost all meals and they'll charge you £1.25 for a tiny pot if you ask for it. Staff work hard but the menu choice and prices mean we won't be back.

First visit in over a yeat. TGIs not as good as it used to be. Very quiet, no atmosphere. Food average. Portion sizes have reduced and prices increased. Probably wont return to the chain as others are far superior.

The appetisers were very disappointing. Quite small, a little bland (mozzarella dippers and potatoes skins). The mains were reasonable. The ribs were tasty and the chicken was moist. The Cajun Mac n cheese was very disappointing. Not very tasty. The prices seem on the high side considering the venue and the food served. Most certainly not value for money. The service was really good. Our server checked in on us, was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately I fell into the trap of thinking I was getting a deal on the drinks. The menu said 2for1 cocktails. Initially I thought how expensive can a cocktail be, I couldn't see the price on the menu. So we ordered 2for1. Later during our visit, I thought I'd check. £16 for on cocktail. That is ridiculous. It's only £11 at The Alchemist, which is actually a cocktail bar. That's not buy one get one free. If the were £8/9 each I would not of quibbled but £16 is so past the mark. There weren't even very good. This really put a dampener on an OKay meal

We came here on the 21st of August 2024 to celebrate my nieces 18th birthday. I must say I’ve never been to anyone of this chains restaurants and I was absolutely delighted from the second we arrived to the second we left. James otherwise known as Hagrid was a fantastic person and served us all evening, as we had made them aware that I was blind, he went the extra mile to let me know where he was putting things on the table. He truly went above and beyond his job to make sure we had a really good time. Well, it is a little pricey here the food quality and standards are excellent And I must say the portions were perfect. One thing I also like about this chain of restaurants is that they do not add a service charge for this. I was more than happy to give James a tip for his service alone. Also, they surprised my niece with a small birthday cake, this was a fabulous touch and it shows that they really do care about looking after the customer. Would I come here again definitely once I have saved up.

Very dated now. The new menu was very small and options were poor in comparison to old menu and portion sizes were shocking! We left still hungry having had starters and mains and we are not big eaters! £18 for a burger the size of the palm if my hand is well on the high side and the Frank's sharing boneless bites we got 8 and they were less than size on a 10p piece!

We've always loved TGI's but on the 31st of August our lunch was not to the usual standard...we ordered fahitas. The wraps were hard...the service made up for it which is why we didn't complain! And how can you justify £11.25 for one glass of wine??? Wont be going again!!!

Great meal which came very quickly. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. The mocktail I had was also really good.

7 Adults & 2 Children almost £300! Prices are ridiculous for basic pub quality food that took an age to arrive. We were there almost 3 hours, not through choice. We even had to wait half an hour to have the bill processed & brought to us. Kids eat free?... Only with a time restricted code from the app, one per child! Never again!

I haven't eaten at this chain for some time, and was deliciously surprised! They have a vegan burger on the menu now, and it was really delicious! It came with mushrooms, melty Applewood cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, red onions and pickle. They were out of stock of the garlic aioli dressing, but I was given a Jack Daniels one instead. It was a little sweet for me, but really, really delicious, with the sweetness really balancing the savoury flavour of the burger. The small pot should be more than enough of your sugar allowance for the day. It came with plain fries, which were also very tasty. My partner ordered the nachos and sweet potatoe fries, and we shared some spicy onion rings, both really delicious. The thing that stood out the most for me was the service, and our server, Jack Kaye was amazing! The way he welcomed us and came and introduced himself shortly after we sat down was very memorable. He said something like, "Hi I'm Jack, and I'll be your server today. If you need anything at all, just let me know." We eat out a fair bit, and sometimes I haven't experienced that standard of introduction in some of the better restaurants! He took our drinks order pretty quickly, and the food arrived pretty quickly too. He regularly checked if our food was ok, was friendly and chatty too, but also had the right aire of professionalism about him, like he cared about his job. The other staff gave great service too, and we really loved that idea you have of having the chef come out and serve the food to you! It says on the qr code card you gave us that "We're making TGI Fridays better", well so far you're getting it right in my book! Great experience all round, and when we're next up in that neck of the woods, we will definitely be calling in again!

Overall very nice, had burgers with a friend and was unlimited soft drinks. Soon as drink was low server grabbed another which was great. Only down side definitely on the expensive side for that you get. Doesn't mean it wasn't tasty just with the price of a main put me off adding startes/sides/deserts.

Kids eat for free for every adult meal. Great deal but the adult meals seem to have gone up a lot in price over the last few years.

we were delivered someone elses order and so didn't get a meal as I was unable to eat the delivered food due to allergies so had a large wasted meal for 3 with desserts

I really can't fault the friendly staff barring the server who mistakenly thought he could remember our order and returned to the table three times for a reminder, only to have the wrong order turn up meaning i had to wait for mine while my wife ate hers. Granted, the item was removed from the bill (with the item that turned up in its place ! ). The food was distinctly average and distinctly overpriced for what it was . All in all, it's not the best, and I can't imagine a return . My wife's steak was 28 pounds ! Overall bill £87.90 !

I was really looking forwards to renting the hog dog and all I got was a hot dog, nothing on it in a roll. not happy.

Food was tasty although the steaks weren't cooked as ordered one of the desserts was missed off the order but they did sort it out the waitress who dealt with us was absolutely fantastic couldn't fault her really friendly even posed for photos with our group over all a really great night

We had mozzarella dippers and chicken wings to start followed by cajun chicken pasta, sesame chicken and loaded fries for mains (mains in the pic). Nice food, good portion sizes. Got asked to go to the bar for a drink before being seated which seemed to take forever but other than that pretty fast service.

I came here a couple of days ago with my family at least 15 of us to celebrate a birthday our waitress Ciara was so lovely nothing was too much to ask, service with a smile, made sure we had everything we needed she’s a credit to her workplace will be returning 🩷

My daughter and my granddaughter and myself popped in for a quick bite

Visited here last week, food was absolutely lovely - no complaints. The waitress however, was very rude. A young girl with long, too-bleached hair, actually rolled her eyes at us and stropped off when we said we weren't ready to order.... and was utter miserable for the rest of the time as well. Clearly didn't want to be there, but not acceptable in a customer facing role like this.

The menu is small, which is a good thing cause then you don't have to deal with the stress of choosing. We got a starter of mozzarella dippers to share. They were nice and gooey but it was a bit strange that the tomato sauce was mouth burning and the mozarella was not. We then got a main of the New york strip steak and a side of macaroni cheese. The steak had more fat on it than meat, which i found disappointing. Macaroni cheese tasted nice but nothing special. A can of Heinz would have also tasted the same. All in all it was not worth the 81 pounds between the 2 of us. With 1 portion of mozarella dippers, 2 steaks, 1 macaroni and 2 drinks. Service was good. I do feel sorry for the young girl that was working, she was running around like Max Verstappen trying to keep everyone happy. The young male server was nice until he basically told the whole restaurant his girlfriend and 2 friends were coming. When they arrived he dropped everything and went and sat with them for 10 minutes, the poor girl was serving 5-6 tables alone.

Never been to TGIs previously so didn't know what to expect. They had a deal on the menu for 2 courses at a set price which was great value. I ordered calamari to start which was a little overcooked for my liking but still good and then sesame chicken which was phenomenal. Service from hagrid was superb.

WOW!!!! very expensive. Small menue with not much verity and all mains are £18+ which is absolutely not worth it!! Had a strange meal and will definitely not be returning. Could never justify the cost. For a drink and a main it was £56 luckily we got the deserts free with the loyalty scheme otherwise it would have been £78!!

Always have amazing service here and has become a family favourite for celebrating. Food is to die for, especially the wall to wall chicken platter!

Tgi fridays As we arrive there were great smile and good service. Got seated and a good presentation of the menu. We got a mixed starter, there were great and tasteful. As main course the Friday burger with fries. It look ok, but didnt tsste good a little to sweet in my taste. One Thing, it is strange that there is refill on diet Coke and not normal. Im allergic to sweetners, and have to drink regular suger soda. The price is to high if you look at Quality of what you get. A BIG high five to The waiter Safiane for great service.
