It had great food.service and Atmosphere. Family friendly staff was great

I been this place 2month ago but I been yesterday again and the meat and chicken and rice and fish really nice cooked this time alot better then 2 month ago I really appreciate the chef and i highly recommend this place now and also me and my family go again there soon

I liked it, the food was fine and so was the service. Only problem was we were at a table near the entrance where people are standing around waiting for tables, very uncomfortable.

Went with family yesterday. Have to give the food 11/10 better than I expected. Perfect portion size and the food stays warm. Brilliant service and facilities/ segregated facilities prayer space tea on the house. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend 👌

I had my mendhi here last night and it was amazing. The food was delicious, tasleem was so attentive in making sure the night ran smoothly. Cannot recommend enough, everyone had a fantastic time.

Food was lovely, decently priced. We got the Tawa for 5 (huge) and a Charsi Lamb karahi and it was delicious.

Food was absolutely delicious - everything cooked to perfection. Staff unbelievably friendly - encouraged the babies to eat and gave lollipops and tea on the house. So friendly especially the manager’s wife. Tawa’s were nicely portioned - perfect. They turned music off for us when we prayed - very respectful.

Adam and amaan were excellent with the service and the mullet guy was cool too, all showed great service 👍

Second time I’ve been here food consistently good huge portion sizes will definitely fill you up, lamb chops were okay just like the rest of the starters, the donner is very nice but best of all are the 2 dishes you get meat and chicken.

This is a gem of a restaurant that once found becomes a real call when you fancy a good Asian meal. Great grills and the Tawa plates are something else. Would really recommend.

A huge letdown. The food was really bland/ hardly had any taste and the portions were ridiculously small. On top of that, the service was terrible. The staff seemed like they couldn’t care less about the customers and was treated in a very rude manner. Honestly, the whole experience was disappointing and definitely not worth the money. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Need to fix up on Customer Service, training required as they missed out parts of our order and was not sympathetic in any way. Not worth it!! Trust me!!!

Nasheeds are are beautiful and the servicing was really good as well as the scenery around the place were beautiful as well

Very nice Tawas in Batley. Very difficult to find nice Tawas nowadays so it is refreshing to know that there are some good traditional tawa places who serve nice food.

Four of us visited this restaurant on Sunday around 7pm. It was relatively busy with mostly families ordering the Tawa. The Tawa was a good size so we ordered a Tawa for 3 which was fine for the 4 of us. Staff were attentive and friendly. It is not licensed and you can’t BYO either.

If you want privacy don't go here I came with my family and didn't feel conformable as I had a worker continuously staring toward my family

Had tawa dinner today. Taste was good but there was hardly any meat pieces in the curry - just mutton bones was there. Routine sauces were also charged separately. Quite disappointed with the falling standard of service.

Loved the food, and the portion was a lot bigger. Everything was spot on and lovely that the staff come to ask how you are. Love coming here on an evening, it's close to home.

Food was bland fish tasted like it was cooked a week ago chops were cold, small dinky plate of salad for 4 people was a joke not worth it at all everything over priced would’ve preferred a Tesco meal deal tbf staff were so rude especially that aloo who took our order and the woman walking around like 10 men tbf she was the size of 10 men, overall what I’d suggest is burn the place down and start fresh

How is this place open? Don’t overlook bad reviews because they’re 100% bang on shame I’ve seen them now and not before I visited. Waste of a journey from Manchester. Tawa was served in 5 minutes. Cold food , fish stunk , rice was off. The curry’s were bland (looked like left overs were served) chappati and nan were like they been there for a few hours. Chips were dry. This place you need to stay away. If you want to waste your time & money go ahead

Was invited at an Iftar Party almost 2 weeks ago. Food was excellent, and had a unique concept of serving various dishes on Tawa. It was jammed packed, and staff was struggling to serve almost everyone. Located near Dewsbury (In South of Leeds), ideal location for people to travel from all over Yorkshire. Unsure about prices, as i was invited as a guest.

The dining experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food was bland and tasteless, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying meal or pleasant dining experience.

Chops weren’t well cooked. Everything was served within 5-7 minutes literally tasteless and cold. Doesn’t worth even £20.

We came here for our companies Eid celebration. The food was resplendent, so much so that we ended up packing the leftovers to take home. The restaurant is absolutely lovely and beautifully decorated. We were given one of the function rooms upstairs, and this suited our needs perfectly. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. A special shout out to Tasleem! A true asset to the business, she eloquently dealt with every request and couldn't have been better. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend for those who love good service and traditional desi food 👌

By far the best tawa I have had a yes better then the popular Huddersfield cabana in my view.the food was like home made and not catering type give them a try the tawa for two is more then enough to feed 3-4 people

Good staff. The price is expensive. And sadly we’ve noticed the last couple of occasions the lamb chops and the chicken wings (which we usually enjoy at restaurants the most)- have not been piping hot or fresh, and it spoiled the experience. Could’ve done better in that regards. Disappointing that they’ve not been fresh .currie is best part but Won’t return.

Owner lady is very rude,we booked a table and request her for to ready the meal for us on time, we have fasting ans she mention come down and serve the food at 7.00 o clock ,she has no respect for ramadan. Wao what a great service

From Sheffield and came to open our fast, food came after a long time. Not nice when been fasting all day.They' hv got staff working snail pace and all of them no smile or nice welcome.unorganised unprofessional.Had to get up to get what I needed which wasn't nice as I was with young kids. Came to open our iftar! Please avoid they bring the food 40 mins after iftar it’s ridiculous! I know they don’t care about prayers etc. But that’s shocking!

From Birmingham, we travelled to The Tawa House. Straight away, we were greeted with a friendly face and a big smile. Such a warm welcome. After a few minutes, we were seated. The lovely lady by the na.e if Tasleem, came Iver and took our order. We ordered the tawa for 4. It was huge! And delicious! We all fug in straight away and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The aroma was tantalising out taste buds. Can't fault the food and the service. We had such a lovely time. After we ordered the desi tea which was perfect! Tasleem went way n beyond to meet all our needs, even gave me plain yoghurt as l found the food a little spicy. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It's a must try! We will definitely pipping by again soon after Ramadan in sha allah.

It was nice, apart from the lamb chops (worst I've ever had) price has gone up from £25 to £40 (for 2 people) with the new owners seems all they have added is some rice. Salad bar has gone, which is a shame. Never seen it so quiet. Staff was nice. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back with the price rise.

Bit stuffy inside as it's a small restaurant. Wait time wasn't too long as we'd called ahead. Ordered the tawa for 2. Curry and starters were good but the lamb chops were a bit tough. Men's washrooms were a bit dirty and there were a few cobwebs above the toilet.

Food unfortunately was very mid tier, nothing stood out. The only decent thing on the platter was the lamb chops. However the service here let it all down, forgot a dish took them 10mins to rectify. No cutlery given, had to ask 2x - had to go get napkins myself as they kept forgetting. Just not the place for me.

PLACE HAS GONE DOWNHILL,from the service to the food. I visited yesterday with family and we didn't have a good experience. First and foremost, the tables/plates and cutlery we received were dirty and still had food on them. Then we received our food after waiting for ages, it arrived cold and the curries were full of oil, and lacked flavour. The starters had a smell them. We had asked the waitress for more drink, however we didn't receive as she forgot, totally clueless.Get more clued on staff who know what they’re doing.We will not be coming again. Avoid this place!

Place is good value for money in terms of portion sizes. Food is average though.

I ordered the 70 pound Tawa and it just seemed most items were pre cooked and heated when ordered if paying that price I would expect fresh however the lamb and chicken curry was nice but for me the food was not up to the standard of what I paid.

I’ve been here twice recently once with family, guests from South Africa who loved the food, and again recently with a freind where we just wanted a cosy quite evening , which they helped accommodate a good seating place for us and went above and beyond so both experiences were lovely! The food both times was superb! The chicken karahi reminds me of my mother in laws cooking, lamb chops were perfect and the dessert and complimentary tea was lovely too. The service overall was to a high standard, we normally go to Bradford but I’m glad we came here as everything was perfect! Nice cosy friendly, family atmosphere, so Thankyou to all at Tawa House for making it a lovely evening for us all!

Oh my gosh, Tawa House was absolutely amazing! I got their food for a party, and let me tell you, it was the best food I've ever had! The flavors were out of this world, and the meat was so tender. Plus, the portion sizes were huge - more than enough for all my guests. And can we talk about the staff? They were so nice and answered all my questions without any hesitation. I actually drove over an hour just to get there, but it was totally worth it. I would 100% recommend Tawa House to anyone! 🤩🍽️

Wow, awesome. There were 7 of us and we were out for a birthday celebration on 13/12/2023. Lovely and polite service. Delicious piping hot fresh food.

Usually it’s decent food, however this time around it was not up to par. The donner was cold and not fresh, the lamp chops tasted old, starters felt dry and stretchy. Dap though the staff was lovely, I had asked to get my food packed 3 times and they just ignored that request.

All of the starters were soo dry and stretchy, soo hard to chew. But as alhamdulillah I shouldn’t complain about food but as my and my wife were finished with the Tawa for 2 I asked 3 times!!! To pack the rest of food as loads of it was left (mostly curries and donner) but they didn’t reply soo I just left. Waste of £47.50 for 2!!!!! The only things fresh were salads

Bad place to eat waited 25 minutes for dinner meat and chips was charged £10 for it asked for garlic sauce and onion and lettuce on it garlic sauce was in a tub in the bag and salad in another box (LAZY) dinner meat dripping in grease proper disgusting waste of £10

Their food is lush,good size portion, we always come here and bring our friends and family, staff is very helpful and friendly and service is spot on Meat and chicken are cooked properly, and meat is juicy and not chicken isn't dry, naans and rotis are properly made. Went with my family of 8 ( 1 member is a baby ) Great food very tasty. Had the Tawa for 6 Meal and had leftovers still. The quality and quantity was amazing. Price is good considering how much food was on the Tawa. Great service aswell. I recommend the Donner highly !!! Family really enjoyed the meal. Only issues was there restaurant has very poor heating system as you can see we had to use floor heaters to keep ourselves warm. Also parking is very limited mostly single yellow lines.

Traveled from rochdale thir got tawa fpr 2 £40 portion looked decent but 2 big lands we had it all wasnt full lamb salan had a smell like it been reheated to much the chiken salan waa nice seek kebab waa nice roti and nice was decent the lamb chops was dry waa not nice at all chiken wimgs waa ok masala fish was ok i give 6 out 10

Wow fantastic place had seen all recommendations on Google so thought would give it a go. Had tawa for 2 and was loaded with a right mix everything. All staff really helpful and friendly will definitely be going back

Mate & I looking for food before heading to the Arts Group nextdoor. Really well looked after on arrival. Waiter really good. Very busy evening but happy to accommodate us. Apologised for slight delay with food. Ordered family grill and blimey!! Just about polished it off. Great atmosphere. Loved the decor. Very friendly. 5* all the way!!

Mashallah, really really enjoyed the food and the vibes. Perfect for a family dinner or even for a celebration. The customer service was amazing. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Everything was definitely worth the price and we all enjoyed our time at the tawa house. My dad is usually quite picky when we go out to eat and even he said its a 5 stars 😂. The food looked so good when it came out that we forgot to take pictures lol. Really liked the prayer room at the back too, very accommodating. InShaAllah look forward to coming back soon.

Excellent food and service Well worth a visit

We got the tawa for five and it did not disappoint. Fantastic value and portions - the picture says it all really. The fudge cake for deserts went down a treat too. Helpful, attentive and pleasant staff

Great service Free tea and very big platter of food

First time for me on the recommendation of a friend. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Staff attentive to your needs. We ordered the tawa for 4 and struggled to finish it. Afterwards, we were given a nice kawa tea. The food was very nice with generous portions. I gave it a 3 but the only reason it's not a 4 is because I found the menu somewhat limited - yes the tawa is the speciality but I prefer to eat my food separately e.g starters followed by mains as opposed to all at once.

My dad has eaten Asian food all over England and abroad and can be quite fussy and he says this is the best food he had ever had the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.

Went to tava house on the 16th august and I have to say it was just amazing. We were the first people there and as soon as you walk in the waiters gave us Salam, they spoke in a polite manner and it was just really friendly. The restaurant was spotless just fragrance as soon as you walk in. The toilets were spotless no dirt or anything anywhere the hygiene number 1! best I’ve seen in a restaurant. Really good ✅ we ordered a tava for 5 it was £70 absolutely worth every penny. Had a variety of food a bit of everything, so nice. The tava came out nice and hot simply just FRESH The food was so flavourful cannot fault anything one bit. There was also a lovely prayer room for people to pray. After we ate we ordered tea which they gave us for free and some complementary kawa. Definitely going to go again soon. 100% recommend to anyone who’s thinking of going. HONESTLY JUST GO YOU WONT BE LET DOWN!!! Thank you tawa house!!

I visited today with friends and we got the tawa for 4 and a few drinks. The food was delicious and was piping hot, starters were full of flavour and fresh. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and seated very quickly. The customer service that we received from iqrah and the other staff members was excellent. She was very professional and well spoken. I can’t wait to bring my family here as the atmosphere was family friendly. They also had nasheeds on which we all loved listening to whilst we ate our meal.

Travelled here with my husband from middlesbrough, purchased the Tawa for 2 people. Delicious and great service. Prayer room lovely touch after washing hands my husband could prayer before we set off back home

Came here for the first time today. The best food we’ve had in soo longgg! We travelled from Leeds to try it out and we’re definitely not disappointed. I love the atmosphere too- seems very family friendly. Service was excellent too. Will definitely be returning with family soon! The food was delicious- wouldn’t be able to pick one favourite item. We had the tawa for two and it was more than enough for us.

We recently had a family get-together at Tawa house. I would just like to thank all the staff, especially Tasleem, for such a lovely atmosphere, welcome, and being so friendly and patient with us. The food was amazing. It really felt like home from home. I would definitely recommend this place. 👌 amazing, thank you for such a warm welcome. Will definitely be coming in regularly. 😀
