Good food served by friendly staff.

This is my first time trying this place out! It has absolutely amazing service and food. I went for the burger, it did not disappoint, and the men were respectful whilst serving. I love that they have a prayer room! Highly recommended.

Got the desi breakfast and English breakfast both very mediocre… we then got the French toast with berries.. they used frozen berries and tinned peaches again very mediocre. Also we had to help our selves to cutlery and tissues which were across the room, not ideal..

This is the best coffee in the area. The owner who I would consider a friend is highly passionate about coffee and taking care of his staff. The environment is great with mood lighting and a hint of a personal touch. Extra points for having books as well! The food is very good too, Shahid the cook is skilled and the menu is carefully curated with minimal amount of items with maximum amount of thought put into it.

Hi, I agree with Jibran. I have been many times, waited to be seated and told almost immediately to take a seat at a vacant table. I am not aware of a waiting system nor have I ever been subject to that.

Just been inside and got taken out the seat with my family when it doesn’t say waiting or anything anywhere, it is normally go sit down and order very disappointed and was told there was a waiting list. But there were no people waiting we did great leaving and going papa B’s down the road great food recommend them more then that place please try them before going to this place

Lovely brunch! Service took a while, cutlery was missing when food was served, then coffee didn't arrive, and when coffee did arrive, there was no sugar/milk etc. Food was really good though and staff was nice.

The food at brew is always lovely and the staff here are very welcoming and give great customer service a 10/10 all around . I have only one suggestion that I have would be to have new items on the menu added as it’s always nice to try different and exciting new dishes .

A busy but not loud cafe serving some of the best food in the area, their breakfast options are incredibly varied and I have yet to have a bad meal there and have experienced nothing but first class customer service. I highly recommend Brew to everyone I know

We drove 40 min to get to this place. It was an absolute waste of time and money. We ordered two Indian breakfast and on egg on toast. Food was cold, hate frozen paratha and puri were not nice at all, everything in that thali was cold and no flavor , environment was cold not cozy at all. They gave tiny cups of hot drinks with no flavor.

Don’t fall for the instagram pics, they probably just have a good photographer . The food was average nothing spectacular considering the price. The atmosphere is awful, happy smiling staff would make a real difference. It’s overpriced considering what it actually looks like. Can hear everyone’s conversations so maybe put something on the speakers. Also ordered a coffee and had to search around the room for sugar. Just my opinion. We won’t be back

If you're going to charge restaurant prices at least provide restaurant service. No paper menu, no table service, no "Is everything ok? How was the food?" Ordered the shakshuka without peppers, got it served with! Had a dirty taste all day. Avocado/toast - toast was cold Pancakes/nutella/strawberries - nice Coffee's were served 5mins before food and was cold by the end.

Waited 1 hr & 30 mins for them to cancel without any reason. If they couldn’t do the order why not cancel immediately? Ridiculous

It was okay ok my first visit, only because the guy who does coffees there was very friendly and the man who offered to put pistachio cookie in a microwave for few sec for it to be gooey and tasty. Thumbs up lads. But the girl at the till is just fully switched off from the process with zero communication skills. Like simple question what beans do you use confuses her and she doesn’t know what to say and how to respond. And not being friendly at all. Second visit, my sister came in 3:45 just before I got there and they’ve told her they’re closed. when I arrived I went in and the girl just sat in the booth said we’re closed, I was like are you not open until 4pm tho, only wanted to get the drink and a cake for takeout. Which she went and did for me, but why saying to my sister you’re shut then before me? Confusing.

Been to this gorgeous place a few times now, the jacket potato with pulled chicken is just 😍😍😍 the Nutella san Sebastian is the best I've ever had. Such cute decor - definitely one to try guys! Check them out😍😍

Respectful, friendly service, greatc places for breakfast/brunches

Placed an order with uber eats and requested to swap the beef option for chicken due to them being meat options i assumed this was no problem , i was then called to be informed they can’t swap out meat options for other meat options and i must pay extra for this? or i can swap it out for some mushrooms? beyond a joke when the meat option i was given automatically with the breakfast was also on the list to be added as an extra for the same price? bizarre. Then my order ‘disappears’ from uber eats and they claim they didn’t cancel it when the woman advised me to but i didn’t get the chance , poor customer service.

I came to Brew with my friends. There is plenty of parking etc which is an advantage. We didn’t have to wait but we’re just shown two tables from a distant to chose. I had to ask where the menu was opposed to being told to scan the QR code. The food was very good. However, the restaurant is worn out - needs some attention. The table we initially sat at wasn’t level in terms of the single chairs and the bench. The second table was unstable and the wall had some holes in it. It is apparent that they haven’t had any work done on the premises for the last 6 years since opening!

I came to this place with friends for brunch. We didn’t booked so there was a wait of 20 minutes. We got the Indian breakfast, Nutella French toast, Nutella pancakes, and loaded chicken fries. For drinks, we got the desi tea and raspberry mojito. Everything was delicious, we really enjoyed it. Definitely would come again.

This is definitely one of my favourite food places. The food is lovely and the staff are really friendly, especially Unaisah who is always so polite and happy to help. I often bring my family here

Great cafe for breakfast and brunch

Average and one toast, eggs and sausages,English breakfast and a cup of tea. The price is high compared to other places in Batley and Dewsbury. A full English breakfast with a cup of tea should be just around ten pounds. They tell you to wait outside when the table is available and they phone you when the table is ready for you.Small town people no smile or friendly service like in Bradford, Leeds, Manchester, Leicester and London.

The food looked amazing, but it didn't taste it alot of the food just wasn't cooked well it gave off the vibe you go their to take pictures of you food and not acc eat it

Absolutely love this place. Clean, staff friendly food is absolutely outstanding had the canadian breakfast great the indian one was even better dont need big portions when the food is so tasty and good quality which it is going for the english next cant wait will be back 100% keep it up guys

Went for a full English breakfast and a full Indian breakfast. The full English left a lot to be desired. Portion was on the small size and a third of the plate was mushrooms. The Indian breakfast tasted better bar the omelette which was drenched in oil and lacking taste. The Spanish Latte was nice. Room for improvement definitely, but I would return.

Awful service by the girls and this guy kept staring at our table, and when we tried to get someone’s attention, he looked straight at us and turned around. They don’t seem interested in serving people or even cleaning tables, they really need to fix up.

Love brew! My all time favourite place to go... i get all my friends to meet me here.. also a nice place to take the family, the staff are friendly and accommodating, the area is spacious, it has beautiful decor, a clean space with calming nasheeds in background also has great parking , clean toilets and an area to pray salah. The food is delicious and they have dairy free alternatives which is amazing!!! And since we dont support the genocide we dont meet with work colleagues at star bucks or costas anymore we now meet here its a good place for a quick work meet up if needed! Highly recommend! 10/10

Breakfast was gorgeous, I ordered the sausages with sourdough bread, scrambled egg and smashed avocado!! It isn’t my first time here and definitely not my last. Jazakhallah for the support too ❤️

I absolutely love brew. Brew is by far the best cafe in town!! The food is spot on. Never disappoints! Food and service is a solid 10/10 - specially the Canadian breakfast for me!! Visited today with my family for breakfast/brunch the first time and was very impressed. Nice ambience and very clean spacious cafe. I ordered a full English breakfast. It was delicious. The chicken sausages had so much flavour(best I’ve had) the hash browns were crispy and perfectly done. Everything on the plate was cooked beautifully. My husband ordered the loaded nachos and the pulled beef..it had lots of flavour.The cappuccino was lovely too. 10/10 the staff were very pleasant and calm. Will be visiting again.

Food is 10/10 amazing 100% would give it a try. The only thing that could be improved is the service. It was my first time coming to brew and I sat for a good 10 mins and didn’t know whether someone comes to the table or if you order yourself. But everything else was fantastic.

Me and my two boys love having breakfast here. It is lovely. This time I tried the loaded fries...the beef ones and they were divine! MashaAllah. The beef was so soft and succulent and all the little additions really brought the dish together. Lovely place

I popped down here for breakfast with family. We ordered the indian breakfast and the canadian breakfast. The canadian breakfast was something new for me and I really enjoyed it. The Indian breakfast was also nice, however I noticed the paratha wasn't fresh . They use frozen parathas instead. The chai was good. The service is lousy. I noticed the workers were stood around chatting to each other and not cleaning the tables as customers left. I had to tell one of the workers to clean our table from the previous customers left overs. If the manager is reading this then I hope you tell your workers to get their act together as they seemed very unprofessional.

it takes them more then an hour to make your breakfast and then 10 minutes to serve. they give you drinks as soon as you arrive so they can get cold by the time your food arrives. enjoy your late breakfast with cold tea in the morning. not worth it at all!!!!!!!!

Nice place and the staff was friendly and willing to help. The desi tea was a let down, tasted weak and out a packet not real desi tea. The French toast was tasty!

Been twice for take out coffee. Inside it’s quite open and feels like it lacks atmosphere. When ordering you can see behind the counter and they have a rubbish bin out in the open and both times overflowing with rubbish. The coffee is average. My main issue is customer service. The girls working there lack customer service skills. No smile or chat, they lack the urgency to get orders ready and out. The cake display never looks appealing. We did get a sprinkle cake and it was very dry.

Really enjoyed the food, there is parking on site which makes it easy. Also the food come out in 10 minutes which we really appreciated. Highly recommend the French toast, wow wow wow

OMG!! Best burgers in Batley (and beyond)! So chargrilled and delicious. Hot and fresh. And the burger stayed in one piece until the last bite. Rather than the filling and the bread going in opposite directions like often happens. Great fries too and the burger sauce was ace. Thank you. Will definitely order again soon

We took my brother out who has Global Development Delay for some brunch and I have to say the staff were very attentive, food was delicious, service was spot on and atmosphere was a little quiet but it was ok as my brother enjoyed the quietness. I would definitely recommend this place as it really is GDD friendly and staff are genuinely friendly. Thanks to the staff!

Was greeted with a friendly hello & smile, cleaned one of the booth tables for us straight away. I ordered the berries & maple syrup pancakes came with 3 pancakes more than enough fruit & the maple syrup separate in a little jug which I liked as you could put on as much or as little as you wanted. My daughter ordered the full English breakfast there was more than enough on her plate & she said it was cooked nice & tasted really good.

Seen posts on Instagram for a while so been looking for a chance to call in. Food was good, nice and tasty with a good bit of spice. Had the jacket potato with pulled chicken and the full Indian breakfast. Kids had pancakes with Nutella and strawberries. All food was finished without complaint. Had a couple of latte's and an Indian tea with the breakfast. Would definitely go back, well worth a visit.

Had a great experience at Brew having travelled from the south. Quality breakfast with great portion sizes. The tea (chai) is also really nice and authentic.

It was our first time at the Brew, we went in for brunch, ordered the Canadian breakfast but was told that they didn't have the brisket and only gave us a choice of toast or beans after placing the order, which was disappointing, we felt that it was missing the meat on the plate and the toast didn't suffice when we paid full price for the Canadian breakfast. We also had the Nutella french toast and chicken loaded fries, which we enjoyed and very filling

Have been here countless times, the breakfast is always spot on. Can be a bit pricey, but the place is great and the staff are fantastic. Parking is vast too and free. Great seating, and plenty of facilitation for children, toilets and even disabilities.

Asked to scan a QR code to see a menu, low battery on phone so had to use their iPad. Staff didn’t seem bothered to help or like they wanted to be there. Place was unclean. Food was good, but overall not something I’d recommend as somewhere to go.

This has to be the worst food experience of my life. The breakfast was awful and the chana just tastes like tomato sauce. The staff were also very young and bad mannered.

This place is in a good location with lots of parking nearby and a lot of seating space inside, we found it easy to get a big table with a large group. The menu was quite good - a lot of variety and options to cater to everyone of which everything is Halal. The full english was nice but I've definitely had nicer ones from elsewhere but it did the job. The coffee (Spanish latte) on the other hand really stood out for me - it was very nice and it really did hit the spot! I do have to say though, the prices are crazy - I can find a full english breakfast in London for £8 with more on the plate than this place which charges £12, it's too expensive for what it was in my opinion.

The food really was 100% maximum 5/5 everything you ate was nice bite after bite, however the service is really poor, Walk into a seat, then go back to the till to order, they took a very long time to get the order, have to go get everything yourself, sauces are sachets too.

Thought it would be better than I expected but it wasn’t unfortunately however I am hard to please as I’ve been to many places for breakfast so I know what’s good and what isn’t. The breakfast was average or even below I got the full English. The sausages were really good, however the scrambled eggs were not even seasoned at all literally tasted of water which was disappointing. Didn’t quite like that you had to put butter on the bread yourself as the bread gets cold but it’s okay no worries about that I understand the point of it. Vegetables were nice hash browns were okay-ish. I got the Spanish iced latte which was average and that’s because I’m a big coffee drinker was quite disheartening. The staff were not attentive and engaging. Not even a hello or how is your food? Seems like they don’t want to be there, not even a smile though c’mon guys. No music as well which made the environment a bit awkward. The seating was odd one high and one low made it so uncomfortable what’s going on there? However some good points include quick service and availability of parking was great. Wouldn’t go again though it’s standard/basic not worth the pricing. But I guess it’s batley not Manchester or bradford.

They have parking which is good. Place needs more colour. Food was good, nice flavours. Kitchen know what they are doing. Could do with more in terms of quantity considering the price. Seating uneven high/low. Empty display cabinet? Service could be better as no smile hi,hello or salaam especially when your making effort to engage. This creates an odd vibe. Need to work on the customer service skills as it's a customer facing job. It's worth trying for the flavours/options.

I've visited The Brew many times for breakfast since its opening. The food is really nice and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Usually have really good food here, but unfortunately had a bad experience today where I ordered a pulled beef eggs benedict and got an eggs benedict with the rashers. I pointed out the order was wrong and was blamed for ordering it wrong? I specified and corrected what I had ordered and they offered a tub of pulled beef, to pay for. I didn't want to argue so agreed to pay for the extra. I then found a hair in my food, before touching it, and they said they'd replace it (unsure that they actually did?) I wasn't sure why it wasn't just easier for them to now make the correct order since this one should have been discarded, but they gave my plate back with the wrong order still and a tub of pulled beef. I was fine with the situation until the communication, the service wasn't great at all unfortunately. I understand mistakes happen but the way this was dealt with and "rectified" was unprofessional.

Took my brother out for lunch on his birthday, we both had the halloumi on avocado toast with poached egg and it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

We were the 1st in at 10am Sunday morning. Seated straight away and served in minutes. Ordered 2x Desi/Indian breakfast. Food was hot, fresh and tasty Well worth a visit if you haven't been before. We will be back 🤗

Came today and food was really good however, disappointed with the service, food took more then half an hour to come out and I requested for drinks to come first and still had to wait half an hour for them even though I asked staff more then once for them. It really shouldn’t have taken more than half an hour just for a drink from the fridge to be brought to the table. Atmosphere is nice but wouldn’t go back again.

I visited brew not so long ago only to find that the staff are all amazingly polite, with great service and amazing food. i recommend this place to all my family members and my particular favourite is the Indian breakfast

It was my first time in Batley and we picked Brew for a quick coffee. It was a well located with ample parking spaces and felt safe. The cafe is a ‘order at the counter’ service and they had a good range of drinks and food. Service could have been slightly quicker but the peach French toast made up for it.

This place is expensive as hell, the atmosphere is dead kind of like a family argument took place and now no one is talking to each other. I can't believe I paid a tenner for a pancake "stack" only to be given 3 mini pancakes which take 2 bites to eat! Proper scam. These guys used to be good back when they opened.
