TGI Friday's - Fareham in Fareham

Staying in the premier inn next door, popped in for a bite to eat. Food was a little pricy but was very tasty so can’t complain too much. I was served by Max. Probably the best service I’ve had all year. A hidden gem in this little restaurant here. Ask for him he’s fantastic and someone give that man a raise. Cheers Max.

Great food served quickly and efficiently, we were served by Max who was extremely polite, courteous and helpful. All in all a great experience yet again from the staff in Fareham

We had an incredible dining experience, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding service from Max. He was beyond amazing – attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, making us feel so welcome. Tilly at Fareham TGI Fridays was excellent. We were seated efficiently. The food came quickly and she was very attentive to our needs and Brilliant with our daughter.

I had the spare ribs. They brought it without my sweetcorn. The coleslaw was the tiniest portion you ever saw. The ribs whilst cooked were pink and anaemic looking , they didn't have that barbequed texture & sticky sauce they should have . They looked so unappetising. The whole meal looked like it needed some colour. A small portion of ribs, BITS of chips and soggy sweetcorn ( eventually ) for £20.95 . Total rip off. My husband had a burger which was £18 . Joke ! They tried to make me have both of my cocktails ( two for the price of one ) at the same time , and I said no because the ice would all melt in the second one ( I don't drink quickly ) . Very disappointing and won't be coming back. Weatherspoons food was better than this at a quarter of the price too ! !

Went with partner and three kids, 10, 3 and 1 for a Wednesday night dinner. Restaurant had a fair few tables occupied but we were seated quickly. Vikkie our waitress was the shining star of the whole experience, she could write a handbook on what great service looks like, she absolutely aced it. Vikkie was patient, friendly and accommodating. We generally visit every month or so and since our last visit they had a new menu, more expensive and our favourites the ‘time square big share’ and the ‘franks hot chicken burger’ were both removed from the menu. Vikkie quickly took our drinks orders and the kids food orders while we looked a little closer at the menu. She returned and we weren’t quite ready, she answered some questions we had about the menu and was very informative regarding the kids eat free offer they have. Annoyingly you have to have a code for each child but the app will only generate one so my partner quickly downloaded the tgis app so we had two codes, you also can’t order from the set menu which offers better value for money and use the kids eat free offer. Vikkie returned and we ordered our mains, she was very accommodating and helped us ‘tune’ the dishes to be more like our old favourites, it was not too much hassle and all done with a smile. She even made some balloon dogs for our children which was a really nice touch and kept them entertained as we waited for their food. When the order went to the kitchen Vikkie returned and said they actually agreed to just make the old dishes for us which was a massive win. Our children had chicken tenders and fish fingers and we had the hot chicken burger and a chicken finger blt with starters of mozzarella dippers and boneless hot wings. The children’s food came quickly and our starters at a similar time. The prices on the menu have ‘jumped’ quite a lot, you’re looking at £20-25 for a burger and more for everything else, kids meals are about £8. The cocktails although ‘241’ have doubled in price so it’s not so much of an offer! Our bill with two kids go free was £117 which feels a bit expensive for the quality of food we received but Vikkie was so amazing and I would return based on her and the experience she gave us.

Overpriced. Food OK, but not fantastic. Havent been for many years thought we'd give it a try, not a good choice. Using the same plates I remember from the 90s!!!

And then we arrived. Started badly but should have been an omen. The big yellow taxi ‘theme setter’ outside had a flat tyre, and weeds growing around the rear end, and it didn’t get a lot better. A sign on the concierge’s dais advised us that there certain things not available. White chocolate buttons, Duros (whatever they are…) I can live with but Chimichanga and Ribs (RIBS!!) were unavailable. As it turns out were hand wipes surprisingly out of stock too - what an amazing coincidence - I can understand if your meat supplier isn’t making the grade, but your wipes too? Wow! A waitress who was pleasant enough but wasn’t happy with the gentle ‘ribbing’ (sorry!) about the lack of their star item, but when she added that they didn’t have any Guinness either… she couldn’t get away from us quick enough… Red flags abound to my commercial mind and I’m glad I hadn’t ordered and paid too far ahead. No coffee? Getting silly now. No still water, passion fruit juice (but they could still manage Pornstar martinis!) We ordered a sharing thing which was ok, and an ultimate grill which again was ok, a slightly bigger steak compensated for the lack of RIBS! All in all, a visit not to be repeated. I do t know (and I genuinely can’t be bothered to find out) if these are franchise operations but if they are the management of the franchise process is woeful. Sticky tables didn’t make things much better

Absolutely outstanding afternoon at TGI Fridays with Dom as our server! The Mozzarella Dippers, Tiger Fries, and Meatless Sesame Chicken were all mouthwatering. Dom's attentive service made our day truly special.

Really nice atmosphere, food was brilliant, I may never need to eat again. Ordered the chicken platter, soooooo much on that plate, all the food was really nice. Service was outstanding, Vikkie was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Will come again, next time will remember to take photos.

The restaurant is perfect for you if you like sticky wooden tables, overpriced inedible food and drinks and tardy service.

On a business trip and the restaurant was next door to the hotel. Never been to a TGI Fridays before and won't be returning. The food was amazingly expensive (even though It's not me paying) and really boring. My loaded fries were just fries with a cheese sauce on and a sprinkling of bacon bits (nothing like the picture in the menu), for a grand fee of an extra £2.75. For £30, I expect a proper quality meal. Really lazy unimaginative food. Service was also pretty slow and there were only about 10 people in. Wish I'd driven to Wagamama's now, cheaper, healthier, varied and fresher.

Food was of good quality and arrived in reasonable time. I had a burger the bread used in the bun was notably good. The burger sauce was especially tasty. Sat well on the stomach. Restaurant has an energetic party vibe. Probably a little more expensive than I would like, but I suspect the cost of eating out has gone up generally recently. Staff were friendly and helped maintain the party atmosphere.

We come to TGIs Fareham quite a lot and it never disappoints. We had a large family get together for a birthday. Tilly looked after us brilliantly and was always on hand to help us. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Tilly is brilliant!
