Tesco Cafe in Moray

Nice cafe food is good and prices are reasonable very clean.

Have eaten lunch there on 2 different occasions. Very nice food with a good selection, chips are really nice . Friendly helpful staff .

Coffee was good, staff were very friendly.

So disappointed that they can’t offer gluten free options. When I asked about this - Tesco has plenty gf food in store-i was told “we are not part of Tesco “ which I found strange, but also not really a reason!

Breakfast good value for what you get

Use café regularly. Staff are always very helpful and friendly, usually have breakfast or lunch, coffee and cake. Good food at reasonable prices and excellent service.

Lovely little cafe I love to visit for catch up with friends, we usually spend 2-3 hours here ordering brunch then go back to order another coffee & cake. However today the queue was unbelievable & had to wait 15m for that 2nd order of cake. I felt so sorry for the girl on check out & can’t help feeling that there should be 2 tills on during busy periods. I overheard a lot of customers complaining about time spent in queue. You’d up your profits Tesco Elgin if you had a 2nd checkout during busy periods & at same time keep your customers happy.

Frequently eat at Tesco Cafe for breakfast, always find the food cooked well and the quality excellent for the price. Wifi is provided free of charge, which is brilliant if you want to check your social media or work emails. Staff are always friendly and professional and the restaurant clean and tidy. Never any complaints.

Lovely cafe, staff are efficient and helpful. Traybakes and scones are very reasonably priced and tasty 😊

This is normally excellent and fairly priced. However on being offered sourdough bread and not being told it cost extra we were disappointed to receive white bread NOT sourdough as shown in the massive posters by the till!

Always a very pleasant experience coming to the tesco cafe in Elgin. Staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and happy to serve, there's always plenty of space to sit and tables are always clean. The food and coffee is always very good quality, well presented and delicious, and the value for money is exceptional in these difficult times!

Cheap, cheerful and delivers what it promises. Visited last week for breakfast. Food is what you would expect for Tesco’s, mediocre quality and filling. A value for money breakfast that was really enjoyable, no complaints. Fast service and staff were pleasant 👍👍

The lady behind the counter was excellent. She looked up the gluten free food and carried the tray to our table. She was the same with everyone. Pleasant, polite and knowledgeable about allergies and the food being served. The cafe was very clean, service was quick and all the staff were pleasant.

Food was pretty good to be fair . Adults and kids enjoyed theres.

Got 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees and was extremely expensive for all you got.

The service frae staff is excellent and the food can be hit and miss but overall very palatable. Cleanliness is nae bad, the cafe does become very busy at times and the staff do their best but seem overburdened. They do however perform miracles in overcoming this and deserve much more than they are paid.

Ate here twice during our visit and the food was good and the staff pleasant and helpful. They didn't get the orders right either time but it was only minor things and they were quick to rectify the issue and were very apologetic. Would recommend.

God a friendly welcome from the staff member and we ordered our food + drinks separately and that was allowed by the staff member. I had Fish & Chips and that was very good. Drinks was ok. Overall Good lunch and very good value for money.

Went in today with my granddaughter. Service was excellent. Food lovely. Felt safe with all the restrictions in place due to coronavirus. My granddaughter wants to go back tomorrow.

I love this cafe, nicely hidden away from the hustle bustle of the store. So unlike Asda's cafe there isn't masses of people walking past gauping at you as you eat. Very nice down to earth food at very reasonable prices, served by very friendly helpful staff. You really cant ask or expect more from a supermarket cafe. Well worth a visit.

The Elgin cafe was serving Eggs Benedict so ordered it as a treat for breakfast. Unfortunately, the resulting plate of food did not do justice to the dish. Rock hard toasted muffins that I was unable to cut with my knife and a piece of ham, not bacon. The egg ,was to be fair, perfection with a dollop of hollandaise sauce on top with some herbs scattered on it. The ham and the muffin (which you could use to build a house!) really let this dish down. I realise staff have to follow guidelines for the preparation and presentation but the company should take a serious look at the ingredients they put in this particular dish. Needless to say, I will not be ordering this again.

food was disgusting everything was over cooked you could hammer in nails with the tattie scone it was that hard staff all have sour faces would not recommend this place at all the only thing I would recommend is to close it down

The breakfast items were that’s solid if you threw them up you could knock out a pigeon. Disappointed that people have rated this 4 out of 5. I feel bad for what you think is good food.

I've lived in the area just over a year and only realised Tesco had a cafe now it's so well hidden at the back of the Upper level. Beautiful fresh cooked food and helpful, polite and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced, cannot fault it at all and I would definitely recommend.

Always pop into cafes at Tesco, this one is not great and it's expensive.

Came here with a friend for cuppa and cake it was very good value at about £6 for 2 teacakes and 2 teas and tasted very good It was very nice to see the staff behind the counter chatting to customers and helping carry an elderly lady's tray to her table. Great service

We had coffee (Americano) and a muffin here before we did our shopping in the store. The coffee and the muffin were good.
