Tesco Cafe in Liverpool

Great friendly staff, food and coffee is good. Gets very busy but staff are always ready to help.

I live very close to this Tesco. Today I decided to eat there, with my 2 children. I'm the only one of us three who got a hot sandwich. After 10 minutes of waiting, I asked for my sandwich, politely, with a smile and very calmly. The sandwich arrived as soon as I finished asking... I apologized, smiling and embarrassed... the girl behind the counter, with a fake smile said "it's not a Fast Food"... making herself heard by me and the guy at the checkout! She asked me what table I was at... so as not to disturb more, I smiled and did it by myself. I don't know if they treat all customers like this or just the "stupid" and kind ones! This Lady, is not very kind to the public. It is not an obligation to do these jobs, if you don't like people ..

It takes forever to get served. One member of staff who is unable to work the till, also makes the drinks, and shouts the order at the other staff members, so the basics take a long time . Explains why the cafe is empty when there is little competition nearby. The shouting was because half the menu was missing ingredients, and the multitasking member didn't know what was available. He clears tables too, so relaxing for the other staff. The 1960s still exist.

Café staff need to go on a customer service course, specifically the blonde lady in the yellow blouse, very grumpy, misrable, not friendly or welcoming at all, deffently not the kind of person you should have in a customer facing roll, she needs an attitude adjustment.

Breakfast was very unappealing,,hard dry sausage!!hard dry bacon,the egg and hash browns were OK,,,no caramel or vanilla for coffee,,just a waste of time and money!!!!

I waited more than 30 minutes in a queue of 5 people, then I waited more than 45 minutes till they finally brought our order (2 simple meals). The quality of this simple food was also disappointingly underwhelming, eggs were literally raw and it was just yolk with almost no white. Hash browns were probably sticked together while frying resulting in an oil-soaked, non-crunchy something. On the other hand, coffees were quite good and done quickly as well. This place might be good for getting a cup of coffee in an off-peak time, but really avoid eating here, and if you see a queue of 5 people, account for 30+ minutes just to be served.

It's only simple food which is ok but some things are not very nice . Coffee good bacon butty ok but didn't like there full English . So I give it a average

Good for a reasonably priced menu

Stopped here after dropping off at Liverpool Airport and on the way to the Waterfront. Huge Tesco store, cafe doesn’t open until 8.00. Friendly service and full breakfast for £4.30! Healthy options are available and it was very nice coffee. Handy parking with lots of blue badge spots and a lift up to the store.

As breakfast is getting more and more pricey by the day. Tesco cafe was just right. We were staying at the Travel lodge Edge Lane where the breakfast was priced at £8.?? “Every Little Helps” We had 3 vegetarian breakfasts & I had a toasted tea cake n tea. We even got to use our Tesco staff discount. Service we great. Food was nice and hot. We were all pleased. We walked out saying how nice it was. Cheaper to go out!!!!
