Wonderful pasta sauces and fresh el-dente pasta. I had the bolognese, and she had the carbonara. Both were excellent.

Doubt anyone would care what I think, But I highly recommend this small local business. Absolutely gorgeous food.

I used to work on castle street in my first year of university and EVERYONE raved about this pasta place down the road. Bare in mind most of them were scousers so they knew where the goods were at. I decided to try a carbonara from there one shift and i swear to god my life has actually changed. I have dragged everyone i know to that place both takeaway and sit in. It’s literally top tier and so worth the price which is not crazy at all. I’m at home right now and can’t wait to go back to uni to order one. 10/10.

Ordered the salmon and prawn pasta, and the meatball pasta. Salmon and prawn pasta was fine, quite pleasant to eat. Meatball pasta was a let down. Only got given 4 meatballs, very little sauce. The whole dish was dry with very little taste. Both meals were slightly cold. Cheesy garlic bread was good.

Pasta Cosa is a lovely spot on Castle Street if you're in the mood for takeout pasta. This place offers both inside and outside seating and is cozy and small, perfect for a lunch break. The pasta is of high quality and extremely delicious. I highly recommend the boscaiola. The service is fast, and the prices are cheap considering the big portions you get. The staff is welcoming and lovely, especially the manager, who is really friendly. I highly recommend this place for an authentic Italian dining experience.

Wow. Absolute scumbags with them portion sizes. My 2 year old son has bigger portions.

It’s more of a takeaway place to me but you can sit in or outside if you wish. Don’t let the prices fool you. It’s restaurant quality which makes it a 5 star ⭐️ in my eyes. Friendly service and really really nice food. I’ve been over 20 times over the years, I reckon. You choose your pasta, in most meals. Then which dish and then any extras. i.e onion, chicken, mozzarella balls, smoked salmon ect. My favourite is Torchietto as my pasta choice. Pesto as my dish selection. Mushroom as an extra. This week I had - Sedanini bolognese bake. It was my first time ordering this and it was spot on. Not to Dense, just the right amount of cheese and nice sedanini pasta with a tasty mince all going together perfectly. I also got a garlic bread. Please note, I’d already started eating the garlic bread 🥖 before I took the picture. It is a little longer then in my picture. Sorry, I couldn’t wait lol 😉 All for under £13 and I was full. Well worth a visit :)

Tasty and cheap, simple and good.

Great place for quick delicious food

Forget going to the WAG infested Panoramic. For great, affordable food Pasta Cosa is the place to go. Nestledin the bustling Castle Street it’s easy to miss but at your loss. Whether you are on a lunch trip at work or out and about late night shopping this is a gem. Polite and helpul staff and a great selection. There’s no toilet or parking but don’t let that put you off.

Nothing special and the portion size was a bit small. This is really a quick dip into for an easy bowl of pasta as it is very small and cramped inside and you won't want to hang around socialising. A lot of reviews I noticed state that the pasta is "greasy" ..... I think they are mistaking this for its tasty coating of virgin olive oil which was nice. Overall glad we tried it though.

Pasta Costa is a lovely little canteen with outside seating right opposite the Liverpool City Hall. I had the Torchietto Arrabiata with the Tomato & Mozzarella Ciabatta. The pasta does feel homemade and, as they describe it, made to order. From the time of order until serving it was about 10 minutes so no complaints there.

My favourite place for pasta in Liverpool. Theres normally about a 10 minute wait so I wouldn’t go if you’re in a rush. Lovely place to go in summer for takeout and eat it near the docks :)

The food is good but it's small and I still hungry after finishing it. I advise to order with sides and the main course are not enough

Pizza was a little dry, not too much cheese. The pasta did not have carbonara, it did not have much flavor. The amounts seemed small to me. The service was fast.

Hello, all - Dave Evo here from CMA CGM UK. You may know me from frequenting the main stand at Anfield or being a regular at the Nine Dragons on a Friday night. Ordered lunch today for my colleagues and I, and what arrived was a shock to the system. I went for a Pesto gnocchi with Sundried Tomarters, N'duja Sausage, Spinach and Mozzarella. What turned up was greasier than Danny Zuko's barnet. To say this was swimming would be an understatement.. Michael Phelps could've iliterakky trained for the Olympics in this. Won't return. A really tiny but authentic Italian restaurant. Not a massive choice, nor many seats but we managed to sit down to eat. Definitely a different experience than the big pub chains, a lot more intimate due to the size of the property. Seems to be popular with students (maybe they get a discount), but not too rowdy. The two members of staff we saw worked hard and were lovely.

Friendly service and great value for money. This place was perfect for some decent quick and casual food.

I've had Pasta Cosa twice now since moving to Liverpool a month ago and it is truly a delicious meal and all round great experience each time. Highly recommend the Vegetarian Pasta Bake & the Primavera!! The Arancini is super tasty also

A brilliant find for food in Liverpool, beautiful little restaurant with freshly cooked pasta and a fab choice of sauces. Discovered this place while on holiday with my fiancé, we will definitely be returning when we visit the city again! The mozzarella arancini is heavenly😍

More delicious than some big restaurants

Looking for somewhere quick and casual whilst enjoying the River of Light and this was ideal. Relaxed, friendly service and perfectly-cooked pasta. We had torchietto salmon and prawn, and torchietto vegatable aglio e olio and the latter was a brilliant example of a simple dish done excellently.

Stopped for a bit of lunch as I wanted something quick. This place is awesome. Really friendly staff but the main point here is how good the pasta was. I can’t even remember what I ordered but it was exceptionally good and very well priced. Definitely recommend trying it.

Carbonara was probably the worst I’ve ever had ….over salted and claggy. I asked for extra olives but bizarrely a bowl of mixed olives were tipped in when I thought it would be black olives. Tiramisu was dreadful and nothing like a real tiramisu …..just thick cream with coca powder on top. It’s my favourite desert and the only time I’ve taken one mouthful and threw it away. Love the concept but expected good Italian food - so disappointed

Small welcoming restaurant, with seating both inside and outside. Really run by Italians. I recommend the gnocchi with pesto and the crunchy bread like at home 😁

Absolutely amazing food and staff and environment.

Ordered online through ubereats, they somehow missed an entire pizza off my order. If if wasn't for that I would have given a 4 or 5 star rating as it was tasty. Just disappointed they missed a whole frigging pizza. Whoever is responsible needs a coffee.

Wrote no onions in the notes & it was full of them. Garlic bread with cheese is mad it’s just like a baguette with cheese melted on top not garlicky at all. Waste tbh didn’t eat it

Ordered from here on Uber Eats, got the carbonara with added chorizo, not much flavour, ended up adding my own garlic salt onto it for taste. Also small black hairs in the food. Regretted spending £25 here 😞

Great pasta dishes as good as eating in Italy and great value for money. This is more a takeaway with limited seating inside and outside if you want eat there. However we were able to get seating for 5 of us on two ocations and the food compensates for the basic seating. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ace place - so good visited twice in the week for takeaway food. Food same as eating in but wrapped, Very tasty - not cheap but it is restaurant quality. Nice if you want to sit in the street on a fine day. Staff super and friendly

Nice food. I had pasta with salmon, prawn, cream and chive, my boyfriend had arrabbiata. Both were a nice fair portion (I struggled to finish my pasta). It's worth the money, and the place is small, but cozy. The staff was nice and smiling. A place to keep in mind if you're fancy a plate of pasta, in town, quick and a fair price for the quality and quantity.

Tiny portion. £9 for the nduja broccoli gluten free pasty, had about 5 tiny pieces of broccoli and couldn’t really see or taste the nduja. About a cup of pasta. On top of that, I can’t quite put my finger on it but the pasta itself was… odd? Maybe undercooked? I’m not sure. The texture was odd and the sauce was flavourless. They were also rude. After 15 mins waiting I asked where my order was as I needed to get back to the office for a meeting and was told another 5 mins. 5 mins later I ask again and am told “it’s been ready for ages” I’d like me you’re gluten free and need something in the area, sure why not, it was edible. But personally I wouldn’t return.

Carbonara was only cream with some bits of bacon, tasted of nothing. Pesto was bitter af. Can't recommend.

Great location to stop for an hour and enjoy Italian cuisine at a more than reasonable price. Quality cook and flavours to shout for.

Love this place, we went after a recommendation and was so glad we did, lovely pasta and gnocchi, very filling, lovely staff and we will be back again.

Nice place, you can assemble your dish by choosing the pasta and side dishes. For an additional £3.50 they serve delicious garlic bread and a cold drink. Two people (who weren't very hungry) ate the bolognese bake, which was hot and delicious.

Creamy spinach, mushroom pasta. Delicious. Handy for a quick stop for pasta. Not table service.

You can choose the type of pasta and sauce you want, if you want to add something extra (like chicken, fish or a vegetable) you are charged extra, if you want bread you are also charged extra. There is a “make it a meal deal” promotion for £3.25 more (add a drink and garlic bread), but it is only from 12-3pm; I arrived after 3pm, so I couldn't choose it like that. I ordered tagliatelle pasta in pesto sauce (£7.45) without any extra, I ordered garlic bread to accompany, which I thought was very overpriced: £3. The bread is not bad, but it doesn't have any garlic or butter flavor, it's supposed to be garlic, it doesn't taste like anything. I definitely wouldn't recommend it at all, it seems very expensive for what is offered, the place is nice and cozy, but the food is not good or cheap.

Great choice and nicely prepared pasta. Like to treat myself there some lunchtimes when in the office. Can be a bit of a wait at times, but that's because they are busy and they are busy for a reason.

I had the spaghetti it was ok but the sauce was very thick and wasn’t all that tasty. I was given a fork only to eat my spaghetti and had to ask for a spoon. It was adequate but once was enough for me.

What's not to love. The food is decently priced. The recipes are authentic. They will customise things if you ask and if they can. A walk to wok type concept but for authentic non greasy Italian food.

Didn’t get told about a swap for a tiramisu and ended up with some sort of cheesecake which had nuts in so I’ve ended up rather unwell. Apart from that, pasta and the cheesey garlic bread were fantastic, but restaurant should really consider sending substitutes with nuts in

Tiny little place that packs a punch. Super tasty sausage and broccoli pasta for me. Colleague had similar with different sauce. Lashings of garlic bread - one plain, one cheese. Really tasty meal. A little cold by the door but loads of trade coming in over lunchtime. Go early & grab a table - great place. Service friendly throughout.

Really yummy and decent value for money. Dessert was so good.

Took a very long time for a rider to be allocated

Initially got told it would only be 30 mins delivery time so timed it for my lunch in work. Had to ring up as still hadnt had a driver assigned 30 mins later. When I called I offered to collect the order instead which I was told I can’t I’d have to cancel the whole order and just go to the shop and order at the till, but that someone would be assigned soon. The woman on the phone was rude and unhelpful. I called back around 5 minutes later as I couldn’t waste any more time. Was told now I can’t cancel as it was on its way. 40 minutes later the app was finally updated to say driver was on there way, to which it looked like he was lost as he was just circling the building. Once it finally arrived the carbonara was unedible and tasted like soap / chemicals. I had been warned of this by a colleague but previously it had been nice so gave it a go. Was a mistake to order and should’ve listened as it was repulsive and had to go in the bin. Garlic bread was covered in grease and rogue onions on the base from being cooked with something else / on an unclean grill. What a waste of over an hour and £18 will never bother there again so rude and unhelpful.

Gnocchi was nice enough but pesto sauce was SO greasy. Paid 1.50 to add olives and they added FOUR olives. I mean come on, I know times are hard but that’s a joke. Paid nearly £10 for a meal I could have made better myself. Haven’t been in a few years because I felt it was overpriced, thought I’d give it another go. This will be my last, sorry.

Pasta is always delicious but every time I order they get it wrong and miss off all the extras I've paid for like cheese on the pasta, and no way to request a refund on it from just eat without cancelling the entire item so I keep paying for food that isn't right. I hate leaving a bad review for a local business especially when the good is delicious but every single time I get the wrong thing. Why have an option to customize if you don't follow the requests??

Nice flavours, the quality of some ingredients could be a little better. I ordered the gnocchi with carbonara sauce, with extra parmesan and black pepper - although I could not taste the pepper, and a side of gorgonzola sticks. Cheese sticks were delicious (the sauce that comes with it not to my personal liking, as it tasted like raw tinned tomatoes and raw garlic blitzed together). The gnocchi itself was delicious, I don't believe it's made in house but it was really good gnocchi. tit was cooked to perfection and they were nice and plump. The carbonara sauce was nice and creamy, nicely seasoned and the cheesy flavour was very generous. Bacon could be of better quality, or perhaps much crispier, as I felt it was chunky and greasy, and quite chewy (similar to budget lardons you'd get from the supermarket). Portion size was great. I also picked up a Tiramisu, which was delicious. Not a light textured cheese like I'm used to, but it wasn't too sweet, which was a perfect touch to the super coffee soaked biscuits and the heavy cheese. I ordered to take away, and I was really pleased with the quality of disposables they use, and the attention to packaging they offered. Overall I will happily eat there again. Was it the best pasta in town? Nope, but it was very good!

It’s a really cool concept. I had the Gnocci with salmon and shrimp. You can customise your pasta in many ways. The portion size may look small but the pasta is really filling
