Still the Best Pizza in Liverpool

Really amazing proper Italian style pizza. Really tasty gluten free pizza (in pic) and some nice mocktails made by Kit! Bit loud but it was a Saturday night. Lovely date night with the partner and will likely bring the parents sometime. Definitely going to try their takeaway for a great GF pizza and pasta! Very very tasty truffle and parmesan fries

Brilliant pizza and a very good range to choose from. I had the Pizza Straccetti which was lovely, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Nice atmosphere and good service. It's also still serving quite late which is a real bonus.

Living in France and on vacation in Liverpool with my girlfriend, we discovered this restaurant by chance and we loved it! We were particularly well received by the staff who were warm and attentive. We had a pizza and a plate of pasta which were delicious and plentiful. We recommend this place 100% if you want to eat good Italian food for cheap. 👍

Questa sera abbiamo provato con la pizza Da crust è stata una piacevole delusione. Il menu rispecchia fedelmente i “must have” delle pizzerie veraci italiane (con alcune eccezioni come la “piccante”), così come gli ingredienti, la cottura e l’impasto. Ottima anche l’offerta e l’attenzione al gluten free, con cottura in forno dedicato. Purtroppo, come il preambolo, sembrava proprio di essere in Italia. Good job guys! Buona fortuna!

The pizza is like pizza in Naples you can taste the care taken from the ingredients to the cooking.

Don't know what the hype is about.. pizza was plain tasteless oily had better frozen pizza soo bad! Waste of money staff could clearly see basically a full pizza left but didn't care just wanted the money wish I said at time but just wanted out the place

Bread of the pizza is good. The carbonara is lightly flavored. I love the lasagna more. The sweetness of the tomatoes was there.

Fantastic pizzas, really very good. Fantastic service. For me the spicy pizza was fabulous. I know that salaries in hospitality are very low but even so the team is fantastic. Cheer up, you do a fantastic job.

Arrived at 4:50 and ended up getting food at 6:30 people arrived after us but still got their food before us. My spaghetti Bolognese was hard and the pizza was soggy and burnt

Went on Sunday afternoon without booking, we were gladly served. The pizzas were amazing and fresh. Our service was very friendly with us and we watched her being the same with everyone else, while singing all the time :D Sorry forgot her name though! Surely will be back when I'm in Liverpool again

Walked in, was seated promptly and ordered two pizzas for takeaway. After 40 minutes of waiting (trying to be understanding that it was busy) I asked a member of staff if they could check on our food, moments later they arrived at our table, cold and the girl who brought them didn’t say anything, just put them down and walked away. Must have been sat on the side for a good 15 minutes, bitterly disappointed by what is advertised as one of the best places in the centre.

went for food and took a while to be served. others came in after us and got seen before. food was lovely until my vegetarian friend who got a margarita pizza took a bite and found ham in the pizza. manager asked if it was ham from my other friend's carbonara which was upsetting to hear as my friend literally had the ham in her mouth and had to spit it out. will not be coming here again.

I quite enjoyed the clazone and desert and the atmosphere was quite nice. Overall the stay was amazing especially due to Nadias incredible day and really made the day for us.

Cozy restaurant, clean and with nice decoration, very friendly and professional staff, food and desserts with very good flavor and well presented, (we did not try the pizzas, but they had a good image), to put something negative, we thought the volume was a little high of background music, which makes customers speak louder and creates a volume in the atmosphere that is somewhat annoying for a restaurant, but ultimately how important the food and service are, excellent. PS: Thanks to the entire team.

Exceptionally good pizza (I had the gluten free) and incredible service! For anyone with allergies, they have a great menu. For regular folks, their menu is extensive and delicious! The food is incredible and Nadia, my server, was the loveliest and kindest soul! She set the mood of the room, floated between tables, and chatted with everyone. I highly recommend stopping by!

Busy place but service is fast. Good food for a fair price.

Tried it for the first time last night and it was amazing. The dough has some kind of crack in it that I’m sure keeps you coming back. It was so good! Service was great too. Will be back! I had the garlic bread, Caesar salad and my husband had the gnocchi and shared garlic bread.

Popped in mid-shopping with wife for a bit of lunch. Delicious steak pizza wrap and chips with cheese and pancetta were genuinely amazing. Great service and a good vibe. Looking forward to coming back soon

Very impressed by the fresh, gluten free pizza bases. I had a margarita with added ham and pineapple. Plenty of toppings came on the pizza as you pay extra for them which is great. My only problem was the pizza sauce on the gluten free bases was very thin and didn't taste of much making the base itself quite soggy. It was very tasty but a bit of a let down. Service was friendly but not the quickest however, we visited on a Friday night so nothing untoward. I would visit again but choose my pizza wisely.

Pizzas are really very very good and great value (especially before 5pm as half price) and I found the staff really friendly. Recommend A++

Service was very good. Foods were okay however tables are tiny and placed a bit too close to each other.

Ordered online at 6pm. 3 pizzas arrived after well over and hour. All cold. Three more pizzas arrived after nearly 3 hours. Stone cold. Absolutely awful and this should be refined. Tried to phone. They did not pick up. emailed. No reply. I’ve eaten in which was great. Delivery is dreadful. If they can’t fulfil the orders then they shouldn’t take them. They might say it wasn’t them it was Deliveroo which is not going to cut it.

Waiting 3 hours for cold pizza via deliveroo. Why?

The service at Crust was top-notch. Our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The ravioli was flavourful and cooked just right. The pizza was equally good! A must-visit for anyone who enjoys great food and service.

Loved the Black Dough experience, which is really healthy. Calzones are a must try, too.

Upon arrival they made us wait 10 minutes to be seated, and once seated and taken 20 minutes to come over to take our order the server couldn’t even greet us with a smile. Our drinks took 15 minutes and. food took 25 minutes to arrive. My daughter had a carbonara and barely touched it due to lack of taste, and my other one had prawns that were labelled as “king sized” however they were smaller than my thumbnail. My partners chips were very dry and cold. So very disappointed in the food, as well as the fact no one came to check on us during. After food, we asked for the bill which took 20 minutes and the waitress made conversation with other customers whilst serving. Very disappointed and won’t be coming again:(

I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. I have been to this place a few times before and it was alright. The service was ok yesterday but the food was disappointing, I ordered a smoked salmon farfalle but there was no salmon in it, the al dente pasta was a bit chewy and the thin sauce was very runny. The portion was quite small too. One of the sides came out about 15 minutes later than the others, we also ordered truffle and Parmesan fries but there was no truffle to be seen. We also didn't get asked if we would like any extra Parmesan cheese with our 4 meals either. We spent over a £100 yesterday but to be honest it wasn't great value.

Had a lovely meal in here, service was spot on, laid back atmosphere, pizza is veryyyy good and the Bueno cheesecake is unreal.

The new GM was a bit weird, talking to customers at the wrong time while they are eating. Talking about his life outside of working and talking negatively towards the customers. Not really in engaging with dirty tables that needed resetting and also telling me about how 'easy' it was to get the job when clearly he doesnt have a clue what he is doing. Im an assistant manager myself and i can bring more atmosphere and customer service.

I mean this has to have taken the top spot for best pizza in Liverpool. 6 of us visited and all pizzas were incredible, the courgette fries were incredible and dough balls the best we have had. The bill was so reasonable I thought they had missed stuff off.

Crust Liverpool is an exceptional place to eat pizza! We found it by chance while walking, and as soon as we saw it from the outside, we knew we had to go in. We ordered a pizza and a calzone to try both, and the quality and flavor were outstanding. We also had some beers to accompany the meal. For us, a pizza and a calzone were a bit much (I was with my girlfriend), but the locals there can definitely finish a pizza each. I would come back without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Wonderful porchetta and parmigiana pizza with garlic olive oil. A 10!! Then we saw that they have the first prize pizza in the United Kingdom.

i came here with family and i was not expecting the staff to be as friendly as they were! They went above and beyond for us, took photos of us and just constantly made us smile and laugh. The food was INSANE. I really recommend the dough balls, they were the best i have ever had so so delicious. Defo defo come here!!!!!!!

food was good but in comparison to other restaurants in bold street it wouldn't be my first choice. the only thing that stood out was the tiramisu

The service here was lovely and the waiters were all very helpful. Food was ok, but pizza was very soggy and hard to eat as it all fell apart if you picked it up. Biggest problem was the 10% service charge that was given because it was a group over 6, on the website it said it was optional but ended up paying £17 service charge without realising and without being told. Overall wouldn’t go back, don’t really think the pizza was too worth it considering it’s a pizza restaurant.

Great for a birthday meal. We had a group of 11 people and we all enjoyed the food and the staff were lovely and friendly. There were a lot of things the staff didn’t need to do but went the extra mile with. Really great experience and will be coming back.

Went to crust last night monday 12th aug 24.. Been previously and returned as we both really liked it. Ordered 2 x arribatia penne pasta and diavalo pizza. Food came out within minutes.. Penne pasta was smallest portion of past i have ever seen...i counted 22 pieces of penne ? If i mpved a peice of pasta I then hit the plate.. Pizza arrived...4 pieces of salami on a full pizza..... mainly dough n tomato sauce..and it all stii fell apart when lifting..soggy salty pizza yuk The pasta portion was unbelievable and the fact that those sitting around us had spaghetti dishes with plates piled high . Wont be back ! Be warned .. no great

Really bad service, bad experience and even worse customer service when raising an issue with them. Staff are not trained properly, unable to take basic food orders, rude and will take your plates while people at the table are still eating.

Very good discovery. The staff is amazing. He's not around too much but he's there when we need him. There were 7 of us at the table, we started with wine and cocktails and then there was a classic calzone, a pizza with Gluten FREE dough, there was a pizza and then there were 4 carbonnara doughs.

Prices on the website are lower than in the restaurant. E.g. steak wrap is £12 not £10. Dough was very undercooked. Poor service overall. Bill was inaccurate (missing items) and came with a service charge that was not clearly indicated as optional (i.e. not legal). I am ok with restaurants adding an optional 10% to a bill, but adding 12% is starting to take the piss.

First the staff! Led by a Wiganer this very scouse crew were cheerful efficient and attentive throughout. They made the atmosphere of the celebration meal. The food was excellent fresh and served piping hot. Plenty of topping .. including cheese, veg etc on well cooked bread with a crust that showed it had been created in a suitably HOT oven! Accommodated my request fir a seafool calzone. Looking forward to going again.

It took a long time before someone would help us after we got a table. The food we got was not very good. We were 4 people who ordered 4 different dishes. Everyone was quite happy. When you brag about being an Italian restaurant and don't even offer oil or spices for the food?? Should be ashamed to be called Italian (and I know well what Italian is since I'm in Italy at least once a year!) Bad stuff!

We went for a family meal. The chips with cheese and pancetta are amazing. The dough balls are an acquired taste and bit like deep fried doughnuts and garlic. The main issue was the music was so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. The cutlery also needs to be thrown away and new ones used, the wood handles are terrible and so loose you can’t cut or pick up the food !

Went on a Saturday evening it was very busy but managed to get a table. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful and the pizza was the best we have had in Liverpool. We have tried most of the pizza places and regardless of the good reviews have always left feeling a bit disappointed. Crust will now be our go to place when we want pizza, it was delicious.

Terrible customer service, employees have changed but there is no customer care, we told everything 5 times and no one greets you at the door, I think the woman who is tge manager place , she is just hanging around, I wish she would train her employees, but I think she needs it too

Pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Ropewalk district of Liverpool my twin brother and I decided to drop into Crust to grab a meal,been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this restaurant, interior is light and airy,great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Bold Street. We ordered a pizza each ,a short wait and our meals arrived steaming hot and what a treat. My pizza was really good, a thin crust, a more than generous topping, beautifully seasoned,a delicious pizza that was just what we needed it to set us up for a few hours. We both really enjoyed our pizza's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Crust we had a great time. Crust is easy to locate along Bold Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 8am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Excellent pizza option in Liverpool.

The pasta was lovely however the focaccia was more like a garlic pizza bread. The Mango and Passion fruit lemonade was amazing! It was a lovely evening to sit outside, The service was a little slow however we were in no particular hurry, The staff were friendly and attentive.

I was really excited to come to crust as I’ve never been before and the food looks amazing .. the pizza was soggy, I don’t know how any chef can think that is edible. Service was terrible and we sat there for ages waiting to even get someone to come over. They brought the pizza back out and again it was soggy and there was no apology. It seems like an on going thing of people complaining about soggy pizza.

Don’t waste your time. Me and my fiancée went on Saturday. We ordered pasta, I got a lasagna and she got a vegetarian pasta. It took a hour and a half for them to bring it out to us. Asked multiple times for the food and people around us who ordered the bland looking pizzas had been and gone before we even got anything. Currently it’s Tuesday and my belly is still a little achy and my fiancée definitely got food poisoning, throwing up all the Sunday and she still struggles to eat and feels sick when she’s in a car. Not worth the wait. queue at the door made us think the place was nice but clearly they can’t handle the orders from the amount of seats they have And food quality and cleanliness goes out the window

Absolutely disappointed in the meal my partner and I recieved. Have had a good experience in the past eating in Crust itself but delivery was so disappointing. Food was soggy and cold, the dough base ripping at the slightest touch. And topping bunched up together. It was inedible and we've not been able to eat it other than the dough balls. Hope we get a refund and we complained to uber eats

The food was decent, nice breakfast. Service was slow considering there were just 3 tables occupied at the time (not busy). I noticed it was quite crowded in the evening, seemed like a popular choice for pizza with friends.

Called today for breakfast. We were the only people in there at the time, took a while to come and serve us. Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale. Eggs too well done and although the bacon was nice, my partner said some of the salmon wasn't cooked. Waited ages for the bill so ended up just going up to pay. Breakfast was expensive.
