It is a great place to enjoy Thai foods. Authentic tastes. Loved it. In side the restaurant is having some nice aroma. You will love the place. Reasonable prices. Service is quick. Friendly staff

The restaurant surely needs to change their menu. Asked for vegetarian red curry, was served, veg curry made with shrimp paste ? well if you add shrimp paste in a veg curry it doesn't remain a vegetarian dish anymore and clearly your menu is misguiding and misleading to customers. Was offered green-veg curry after i raised it, where in the menu stated, it contains aubergine, i requested not to add it, chef agrees, but comes back with green curry containing aubergine. - Total disregard to what a customer has requested. Absolutely unprofessional and dont even know how to rectify their mistakes after mistakes. Saying sorry once doesn't help.

Worst Thai food we’ve ever eaten the soups were extremely sour, the Pad Thai was just noodles with tomato sauce and the curries were mid. Compared to the prices the food was extremely disappointing. Thai is my favourite cuisine and I’ve eaten Thai in Thailand as well as restaurants around the world, and both the Tom Kha and Pad Thai didn’t come close to authentic Thai cuisine. We asked for takeaway because we couldn’t eat it, it was barely touched, the waitress threw it away by mistake, and hence gave us another one for their mistake, we thought this one would be better and there was some mistake because Pad Thai doesn’t taste like this, but the second one tasted just as bad. If that’s called “free food”, lol!

Lemongrass is an incredible Thai restaurant, the food was so good. We had the spicy beef salad, lamb massaman curry and pad thai. All of them were so good, genuinely really yummy food. Perfect spice levels and flavours were AMAZING!! So delish !!!!! Defo recommend coming here

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and looks very classy and on theme - the staff were really attentive and friendly. The food was reasonably priced (around £14 for the pad Thai) and we got a good portion per person 🥘 however the pad Thai was quite sweet and the chicken grill option was minced chicken that was quite salty. They have Thai larger on tap ⭐️

We recently visited this Thai restaurant in Liverpool which had a great ambiance with beautiful decor.The staffs were really attentive and cheerful. The foods were amazing. We ordered Thai red curry(creamy and slightly spicy) which perfectly matched our tastebuds.The pineapple fried rice literally served on pineapple has become my absolute favourite. The tom kha soup(coconut soup) in this chilly weather is a go to I must say.Overall,I feel like lemongrass is the most authentic Thai restaurant in Liverpool.

Very close to authentic Thai food. Dishes have been slightly adapted to the English palette however, still very tasty. Will definitely eat again. Highly recommend: Tom Yum Soup (slightly hot, I mean just slightly. Sweet and sour). Red Thai Curry (not too spicy and authentic). Jasmine Rice Chicken Pad Thai (not spicy. made with flat rice noodles & veg in tamarind sauce. Comes with crushed peanuts & a slice of lime to garnish). The portions are pretty large.

The pineapple fried rice is a must-try; it’s incredible. The Pad Krapow, chicken satay, and thai red curry chicken deliver a delicious taste that you simply can't miss. The waitresses are exceptionally kind and always ready to help. This is a fantastic Thai restaurant with outstanding food that you need to experience.

I have visited many Thai food claimed restaurants but when I visited this restaurant I feel the real taste of Thai food. I will prefer this restaurant to everyone must try their dishes. They delivered food to your door step and drivers are very efficient and cooperative.

It’s the most authentic Thai food in Liverpool, probably in the UK too imo. We’ve ordered King Prawn Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Soft Shelled Crab and Mango Sticky Rice, and all the food are all delicious and cooked in the traditional way as in any Thai food restaurant in Thailand. The seafood are flavorful, the portion is large and the mango used in the Mango Sticky Rice is super juicy and sweet, unlike many other Thai/Asian food restaurants we tried in the UK. Seriously the food are so good I cannot pick just one to be my favorite dish here. If you want authentic Thai food, this restaurant is THE place to go.

We ordered a takeaway delivery from this restaurant. By far, the best Thai food, I had duck pad thai and my husband had red Thai curry. We definitely recommend, our for was hot and delicious! We will definitely be eating here again

The coconut rice was tasty, but the menu was more expensive than other venues serving similar dishes. The service felt rushed, especially at the end when receiving the bill, we were barely given any time to review it before being handed the card machine

baby's food ,chips and nuggets were cold and for the £10 expect hot food. ribs cot cold fast and my duck meal was full of just fat and skin. fish meal was spot on bit rest was disappointing for temp . we ordered the ribs all the time but looks like no care was taken in this case, badly chopped and over done

Best Thai takeaway in south Liverpool

I went here today with my family we are a family of 4, 2 adults 2 children as I arrived at the restaurant there was not a member of staff in sight there was one family eating nobody else in restaurant it took about 6 minutes before anyone came out to see us we then sat down ordered our food and drinks Starters came out Salt and Peper chicken (so salty to much salt) Sui mais (overcooked tasted like rubber) Mix platter (was ok) Tempora vegetables ( the batter was thick and was still wet inside not cooked enough) So didn't say anything just thought don't like complaining waited 25 minutes for our main There was noone else in restaurant but delivery were going out felt like they took priority. Mains eventually came out Pineapple rice (this was nice but only had 4 thin slices of pork in it) Then we got the grill with meat and fish when we ordered this we asked the waitress what meats and fish were on it she said lamb chops chicken steak prawns scallops so as it arrived there was no lamb chops no scallops, the steak you couldn't chew it was that overcooked the ribs on it were just fat I feel totally ripped of this is so sad because it could be a really nice restaurant as the decor it beautiful won't be back again if I want a thai I'll be going to chaba chaba

Spicy Udon Noodles!!!! FANTASTIC My usual but I take red chillis out which leaves the noodles with perfect heat. Lips on fire but not too hot. We used Uber to order and it came in 55 mins. Happy to wait as we know its good!

Ordered a takeaway said it would be delivered in 1 hr 15 mins, food took nearly 3 hours , 3 phone calls to the restaurant who kept telling me it was on its way, it was stone cold when it arrived 3 hours later and the king prawn dish I ordered that cost £19 had 3 medium sized prawns in

We are visiting family in Liverpool this weekend, and they took us to Lemongrass for dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic. Top quality, fresh, and fantastic taste. I am not Thai, so cannot comment on how authentic the food is, but it is certainly better than any Thai I food I have had in London or elsewhere in the UK. We will be coming back here again every time we visit Liverpool.

Awful delivery time. Kept being pushed back without communication from restaurant. We had to ring 3 times for an update. We were not issued an apology nor a refund. Ordered 7:12 didn’t get the order until 9:30 disgraceful

Called to find out why it hadn't been delivered (45mins late) to a rude staff member who first said there was no order, then that they gave it to someone in a different flat - didn't even try to buzz the correct flat number. Then called back to accuse me of having the wrong phone number on the account (it wasn't, I triple checked), mumbled they would honour it (!) with a redelivery. Food was adequate. Won't be dealing with them again.

New favorite Thai restaurant! We ordered pineapple duck fried rice recommended by the waiter. It was heavenly and rich, even came in an actual pineapple as the bowl. Mixed seafood dish was also fresh and delicious, had the biggest scallop, king prawns, mussels, calamari etc in flavored sauce with fresh leaves, went down well with sticky rice. Service was excellent, attentive staff, came to £48 for two adults including a beer and 10% service charge. Great quality food, highly recommended, probably the best restaurant in Smithdown road.

Prices have recently gone up significantly as of July 2024 making it way too expensive for what you get and compared to other similar places locally. Servers can be a bit rude and add automatic 10% tip to your bill. Food varies with each visit.

Seems to be a trend with the review for this place - the takeaway food is really subpar. The food was bland and pretty expensive for what it was. Ordered tofu khao pad Thai and was just given a box of tofu, rice and veg - basically no flavour at all. £8.95 for four spring rolls is extortionate. Very disappointed all in all and wouldn't order from here again. A shame - it seems a lot nicer in person.

I don’t know why this restaurant doesn’t have all 5 star reviews. Tonight was easily the best food I’ve ever had, and huge value for money the portions are big… So be warned! We had pepper beef, lemon grass Sui mai and ribs to start (I know we are pigs) then a curry each with a side of rice and salt and pepper chips. Needless to say we couldn’t finish it and have packed up our tea for tomorrow night. The food was beautifuly presented too, it must cost them a lot of money on ingredients as they are really high quality. We will be back! This is our new favourite place 😋

I was expecting a bigger quantity for all 3 dishes for the price but received much less.

Food was absolutely delicious. Really fresh. Good portions. Service was nice when they came over it was just a bit difficult to get their attention for another drink etc. Atmosphere was nice but we were seated right in the middle of 2 couples. Seats were too close and it felt like we could all hear each others conversations. No music was playing so it felt a little awkward. I'd understand if it was busy but it was quite empty. All in all I'd go back again as the food was so nice and the staff were so nice when they came to us. I'd just maybe choose where I'd like to sit if possible.

Really nicely decorated restaurant, very friendly service & the food was amazing, the best Thai we’ve tried and one of my favourite places in Liverpool. Highly recommend definitely give it a try
