Went here last night with my girlfriend after a recommendation. It was best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Staff are excellent and great atmosphere I’ll be back again very soon

Fantastic meal at Chaba Chaba. Every dish was incredibly flavourful and really fresh. Really enjoyed the steamed mussels and red Thai curry. Lovely staff and nice , lively atmosphere on a Wednesday night Definitely would recommend and would return!

I have great love for this restaurant. I was in Liverpool for work for a week and I went to Chaba Chaba three times for dinner during that period! The staff and owner are the friendliest and very attentive to customers. Every single dish I’ve tried are absolutely delicious and authentic. If I have to pick favourites, they would be prawn toast, Panama curry and spicy fried rice. I’m so sad that this restaurant is 170 miles away from where I live but will defo return when I’m next in Liverpool.

Disappointed overall with our experience of eating here last night. Booked for 8pm but phoned them to say to we’re running late so got there about 8.15pm and ordered our food at 8.30pm. Prawn crackers nothing special served with average dip. Starters came out very fast -chicken satay and vegetable spring rolls. Again quite bland and same dip served with rolls as crackers. We ordered king prawn red curry and hot wok crying tiger sirloin steak, with sides sticky rice and mixed vegetables. The mains came out before we’d even had a minute to digest the starters. The steak was dry and the curry watery and bland. The rice was congealed not sticky and the mixed vegetables tasteless. Had to ask for soy sauce to add some flavour. Main course dishes appeared to have been sitting on a hot plate ready to be despatched once we’d finished our starters! Some dishes and my partner’s wine glass taken away before we’d finished eating. Not asked if we wanted dessert or another drink. The place had cleared out by 9.15pm and we felt they just wanted to tidy up and shut up shop! Total time dining including a bottle of wine: 50 mins. More like a fast food outlet. Left us thinking we shouldn’t have bothered dressing up and making the effort to go out for a meal in a restaurant on a Friday evening.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, the mixed Thai platter for starters is superb and both curries I’ve had have been faultless. It’s worth going just for the coconut rice, it’s off the scale good. The service both times we’ve visited has been exemplary.

I find food average to say at best, service is very attentive and girls are lovely but food is bland and I really don’t understand the hype?

Thai is our favourite and this bastion of a place always delivers flavour and spice in equal measure. Whether it’s a weekday or the weekend make this a place that you take the time and saviour all this special place has to offer. This time we opted for a delivery which brought the restaurant to our dining table.

I may be biased but this is the finest Thai restaurant which perfectly does take out :) I'm there twice a month at least 👌 09/06/24 update still just as good :)

Lovely restaurant serving delicious food that doesn’t break the bank! Went on a hot day and it was a tad stuffy and hot inside. Overall such a great place and deffo recommend!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating inside or trying a takeaway. It's quite simply the best and has been for many years. The staff are lovely and it's a high standard for everything. The massaman curry is outstanding.

Lovely food starter came very quick but had to wait for mains as kitchen was busy.I really enjoyed the king prawn green curry when it eventually came out combo starter was very nice too.

Chaba Chaba is the best Thai restaurant in Liverpool, I can say this as I have tried them all....Chilli banana was my fave but no longer with us, so this is my new No1. Staff are fantastic and predominantly Thai, even the delivery guy is super friendly and most importantly the food is excellent and tastes authentically Thai. Don't waste your time trying others this is the One.

This is a must if you like Thai food or if you're wandering about Allerton Road trying to pick a restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating inside or collecting a takeaway. It's quite simply the best and has been for many years. As a bonus, the staff are absolutely lovely.

Been about 18 months since we’ve had a takeaway from here ! Forgotten how good they are . Saturday night take away - impressed how they answered phone with hello and my name - their system also recalls addresses and saves lots of phone faff ! 45 mins we were told it would be - came in just over half an hour . Food lovely and hot ! The world’s best Thai prawn crackers ! Starters excellent ( thick , well portioned prawn toast and delightful tempura )! Great variety of mains - well portioned ( noodles , curry and stir fry )! Lovely flavours . Thank you

We visited on a Sunday night and had a great time at ChaBa ChaBa. The food was very reasonably priced, well portioned and most importantly delicious! We’ve had a takeaway from here before, but never dined in, until now and we’ll certainly be returning. Genuinely can’t think of a better Thai meal that I’ve had…….superb!!

I'm not joking, this is an ABSOLUTE GEM of a Thai Restaurant in Liverpool. For me it is the BEST in Liverpool. We ordered a few meals and all tasted amazing. My wife is Asian and we also travel in Asia quite often so we can tell. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable! If you like Thai food, you will certainly not be disappointed here.

Most authentic Thai food in Liverpool. Spicy level as requested. Recommended spicy salad and curry (red and green), they are a must to order! Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Except the portion which is relatively too small. But overall, highly recommended if you crave for authentic Thai food, it’s pretty similar to what you can have in Thailand.

Eaten here often. I like spicy food and they will make any dish more spicy to suit your taste. The food is fabulous and the staff lovely and attentive.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Really tasty Thai food (the best I've had in Liverpool so far) and it's delicious whether eating in or for takeaway. The duck pad Thai was lovely and packed full of duck and the veggie sharing starter was great (especially the sweetcorn fritters). Really great value for money and friendly staff as well!

We ordered a takeaway, if we had eaten in I would have returned some of the food. Thai fish cakes, had a weird texture a bit like tofu no evidence of actual fish. They were not freshly made, more like the bought in frozen type. Pad Thai, noodles were stodgy and were clumped together..worst I have ever had, however the sauce provided in a little pot was delicious. Mussels were excellent, sauce was vey nice and green curry was good but very sweet.

Good variety of Thai dishes, always well prepared. Staff very efficient and pleasant.

I come here every week and for good reason. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious and excellent value and the service cannot be faulted. The atmosphere is always upbeat and Lee, Richard and the team go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Haven’t been for a while, as last time it seemed to have slipped. tonight was exceptional the food the service was all spot on. A party of four we all enjoyed our food,good ambience, service great without being intrusive, lovely staff.

Good authentic Thai restaurant good menu

I reckon this restaurant has been open about 15 years - I couldn't count the number of times I've walked past it but somehow never got round to eating here. When friends suggested it as a venue for a pre Christmas meal, I was keen to try somewhere new and was very happy that we did. Food was outstanding - we had a sharing platter and then 4 different curry dishes - I tasted them all and couldn't pick a favourite, they were all so nice. Value for money was excellent, and we will definitely be back.

This is my go to place for a takeaway, I've never had a bad meal here. The staff are lovely but the food is incredible, the green, red and yellow currys are all excellent. The pad thai is delicious. If you enjoy starters then the chicken satay is fabulous.

We first got our sharing platter for 2, it was basic fried, quick frozen food which was ok! It was straight away followed with our mains (pad thai) & (sweet and sour chicken) with fried rice which was just ok! Our server was good and he was very polite and attentive ( sorry i didn’t get his name) I would come back maybe in the future but would hope for better produce! £55 for a sharing platter, 2 mains and 2 alcoholic drinks wasn’t bad atall! just wish for better ingredients 🙏

Just had a beautiful meal in Chaba Chaba with my wife. We started off with the Chaba Chaba platter between us. For main we had the yellow curry and the coconut rice. It was beautiful as usual. Will be back soon and will try something different from the menu.

Just happened to be in the south of Liverpool so booked a table. Beautifully cooked food. A menu for all tastes Excellent service and friendly staff. If you want the taste of Thailand give it a go.

Was really dissapointed, maybe we ordered the wrong things but my chicken was dry and my soup greasy. Place was full and everyone else seemed to be enjoying their meals, so maybe it was just me...

We went here with the family for the first time amd found it such a lovely restaurant. Greeted with big smiles and soo accommodating. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Fantastic value for money. We be making this our go to Thai restaurant in future.

We visited Allerton Rd on a Saturday night, group of 4 friends on a catch up. We have never been before so thought would give ChaBa ChaBa a go, we weren’t disappointed. Food was really good, some of dishes had a nice kick to them....

Wow!!!! Absolutely brilliant place. 5 of us went, 2 vegetarians who had the excellent veggie options which had packed loads of flavour into the Tofu. 2 others went for the banana leaf wrapped sea bass. I had tge duck curry, which balanced tge sweetness of the fruit in it with heat of the chilli brilliantly. Staff are attentive and helpful. If you want a criticism, then I would suggest that they need some soft furnishings to help absorb the sound as it was quite hard to hear each other speak with all the other tables booked and the music playing, but apart from that go here you won't be disappointed
