Miiler & Carter Albert Dock in Liverpool

Tuvimos una comida encantadora en la que el filete era el lugar. Rebecca era camarera que era muy agradable y nada era demasiado problema para ella a pesar de que mi pareja estaba dando cuerda a ella, pero ella simplemente se rió de ella.

Gran lugar para la noche de citas. El servicio era muy amable y el personal era muy atento. La comida era absolutamente fabulosa. Pedimos la tabla de compartir bloques de carnicería (dos filetes, una rabadilla, un ribeye, dos lados, dos salsas y dos ensaladas). Los filetes estaban muy bien cocinados y el plato en su conjunto era de gran valor teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de comida en él. La selección de bebidas también es genial. Sin duda volveremos!

Went Sunday night, service was good and Dan the waiter was very friendly. We had the Sunday platter for 2, the meat was lovely, however the sides were very unbalanced. We had a ridiculous amount of green beans, enough for 5 or 6 people, and a ridiculously small amount of roast potatoes, 3 smallish potatoes between 2 of us. Mash was fine. As a roast potato lover this was disappointing and don't see why you you should pay extra for a few more.

We had the Ribeye steak which was lovely. The restaurant was very busy but it didn’t affect the service and the waitress Ruby was very helpful and friendly.

Tried to make a group booking, had a reply back saying fully booked on that day even though 8 months away. Rang up and the gentleman was rather rude and unhelpful. Aparently on that date there is an “event on the arena” I suggested the friday to be told we dont take large bookings on “fridays or saturdays as risk loosing money if we kept them tables free for you”

Lovely venue great staff and food

Went for mine and my girlfriends anniversary. The food was great and we got a bottle of red wine from boardeux too. Would go back again.

Food was spot on - me and my dad both had the ribs. So tender and very tasty. Nice location situated on the docks. Staff very friendly and attentive. If ever I'm back in Liverpool I'll definitely be visiting again!

I ordered the Butchers block which was a good amount for what you pay however the food did come out lukewarm which was disappointing. My server was very polite and did their best to provide me with good service however I was waiting a very long time for my meal and for it not to come out hot is very disappointing. When getting seated I asked to be seated near a window for view however I rudely got this request denied and when I enquired about why we were unable to sit there I experienced a very dismissive and patronising response which I did not appreciate. The same lady who sat us down then proceeded to bring the food over and once again she was very rude, when I asked for sauces she didn’t acknowledge me and when bringing them over just slapped them on the table showing no manners whatsoever. I’m unsure if I offended her by asking why we couldn’t be seated near the window, regardless that is no way to treat a paying customer! I do not normally write reviews however the way I was treated by this particular member of staff did not sit right with me.

The food was superb. Although their service could be better because the staff had keys on their necklace and it keep going in the water so many times but non the less it was a good experience

My last experience of a Miller & Carter over 8 years ago stopped me from going. BUT What an eye opener, my taste buds have never been tantalised and spoilt Dan was really helpful and attentive made us feel at home. Your staff make your business you should be very proud of your team. We will be back. Thank you for an amazing night

What a let down. I'm only 49kg but could have eaten my meal twice. Tiny portions and overpriced. £8.95 for the smallest tiramisu I've ever seen. Would not recommend. Bill came to almost £60 and definitely not money well spent.

our server was dan , an absolute star totally made our experience we’ll be 100% be retuning thanks to him . he needs a promotion a total 10/10 !! Food was nice too !

We went for our friends birthday at the weekend. We couldn't decide what to have so we decided to order the butchers block £80 for a few cuts of different steaks, 2x 5 oz fillet, 8oz ribeye & 9oz rump (i think those were the correct weights). We asked for it all to me medium and not one piece came out medium. The ribeye was well done. Whilst the 2 fillets and rump where so under cooked you could barely get a knife through them, they were still blue. Everything was chewy and barely edible. The waiter came at the end of the meal to see if everything was OK to which we explained it wasn't, which you could see as there was still a substantial amount of steak left over on the block it was served on. He called the manger over who said we should had said something earlier. After this, the waiter came to clear the table and his whole attitude towards us was completely different from when we first arrived. On a plus note the chips and Lettuce wedge were nice. Also when the bill came there was £40 discount added to the bill to soften the blow, but I'd rather have paid the full price and had a decent meal. Only reason we went as we couldn't get in the cow sheds. Note for future, don't leave it so late to book cow sheds.

Food was cold and my steak wasn’t cooked right which was extremely disappointing. My waitress was lovely, however I was sadly sat next to the kitchen where I heard many arguments and the use of racial slurs (N word) by two white members of the team which made me extremely uncomfortable.

We visited for my husband’s 40th and it did not disappoint. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the cocktails were fantastic. I really appreciated the personalised dessert plate. Thank you to our server Ren for being so accommodating, you are great at your job!

The quality of food leaves much to be desired, the steak was burnt, the salad was hardly delectable or eatable, the only two things which did not disappoint were the quality of service and the dessert.

Called in for pre show meal we had dirty burger and salmon fillet with sides of garlic mushrooms onion loaf and mixed salad all well presented and cooked to perfection 10/10 for food and service

Anniversary meal and my wife's chicken was dry overcooked. Did get some money of the bill but serving food dry & overcooked is not good from such an establishment.

I visited Miller and Carter Albert Dock on Wednesday 25th September with my daughter. I have eaten here previously, but my daughter has never previously been here before. We decided beforehand to have the Chateaubriand. We were served by a guy called Daniel who was very attentive and saw to our every request. The Chateaubriand was ordered along with a 16 oz sirloin on the bone, both done medium to well done. They were both delicious and cooked exactly to our taste and request. The steaks were accompanied by sautéed mushrooms, vegetables, new potatoes and fries. Although I couldn't finish the fries, through being full, the rest of the food was eaten. As I had dined here previously I knew what to expect but my daughter was extremely happy on her first visit here and enjoyed the food and the evening thoroughly. Will visit again soon.

The food was brilliant. Steak was done perfectly "medium rare". And all the extras, were too much food for me. You won't leave this place hungry.

The service was of poor quality. The waiter was impolite in his service and unprepared with the instructions on the menu. They charged unduly for the service and when we complained we received very poor service. I ended up paying a higher amount than was due so as not to have any more hassle. Bad experience

Love visiting Miller's wherever I visit anywhere and this place didn't disappoint. The food and freindly service was excellent, a very freindly and helpful waitress called Ruby really looked after us well. I will be visiting again for a nice dinner next time I'm in Liverpool.

An amazing view with great food

The rump steak was cooked reasonably well but a substantial vein cluster reduced the edible meat by about 1/3! The meat did not have a lot of flavour and delivery came without salt or a napkin. Red wine sauce was lovely. Baby Potatoes were too £3.60 for 330ml coca cola is an total rip off and they couldn't change the full sugar one I'd accidentally ordered to a diet coke. All in all a disappointment and I will not be ordering from them again, or based on this experience using their restaurants.

Busy restaurant, to be expected on a Saturday. I had the ribeye 12oz and tbh I've bought better ribeye in a large grocery chain (granted I could choose!). Too much grissel for a so called gold award steak and consequently somewhat overpriced imho.. I guess trimming would reduce it below the weight stated but honestly, this should be top dollar quality if that's your principal product and your raison d'etre.

We went for lunch at Miller & Carter Steakhouse, located at Albert Dock, very pleasant atmosphere, very beautiful view of the inner part of the docks, where we could see all the action. Polite and attentive people served us. Good variety of drinks and starters. We ordered four starters, from fried squid, chicken to mushrooms, all very tasty in quantities compatible with what was proposed. The main dishes were equally tasty and well prepared. The Fish and Chip, crispy and very tasty. The tender Pork Tomahawk is tasty with all the seasonings on point. The rump had a firm texture and was also very soft. The restaurant is very good, in a pleasant location, served by polite people in a cozy atmosphere. If you go by car, there is ample parking at the Albert Dock. It was an excellent choice. $$$

Make sure you check you bill, we order 2 meals off the lunch special and only 1 was put through that way, other was put through at full prices resulting in a £13+ overcharge, didnt notice till home. We had 7 people dinning so quite a bit on bill and we had a few drinks. Also one of our starters was not put through, they did say they could get it but would end up with one person eating starter and holding everyone up. Food was very good and apart from these 2 instances service was also good, I marked down because of above. Would I go back, probably but I would ensure I check bill. Also Banoffee pie not great

Chateaubriand was good. Fries were overcooked, hard and stuck together. Scallop starter good. Prawn cocktail good. Desserts - banoffee pie excellent and creme brulee okay. Server was not good. She showed no interest in customer satisfaction. "Everything OK?" and walked away without waiting for an answer. Stood over me whilst I was entering card payment. I did not want to leave a gratuity for her but the payment machine takes you to a gratuity site straightaway. Hard to avoid leaving a tip.

Went here on bank holiday Monday with my family for the first time and I had a lovely evening! Our waitress was Meg and she was what made our night so memorable. She made recommendations for our drinks which were spot on plus she was so attentive throughout the time we were there. The food was delicious and we all had a great night. City break to Liverpool. First ever visit to Miller and Carter. It didn’t disappoint. Three courses for a little over £20. Excellent quality and value. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be attending again.

Note: i dont post this to spite the restaurant, I completed their online survey and was asked to post this. Just wasn't good. The steak menu is convoluted and confusing. The "buffalo wings" are not buffalo wings by any description. The 16oz ribeye had little to no intramuscular fat and therefore lacked the flavour or tenderness expected. The t-bone also lacked flavour and was dry. I asked for no sauce but got one anyway. We ordered the salmon, presented with trout, and by the time the salmon actually came out, the entire party had finished eating. The salmon was horrendously overcooked. I also paid £30 as a deposit, which was not deducted from the bill.

Food took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering, drinks 30 minutes. Steak not cooked as requested. The restaurant was generally untidy and the windows were filthy. Staff seemed to be under a lot of pressure but were generally pleasant. I doubt I'll be returning.

Service was really poor. We weren’t asked if our meals were ok and one our steaks were not cooked as per our order. We would have sent this back but no one came over to check and we had already waited a hour for the food. The drinks were incorrect and generally was not a good experience. The atmosphere and service in Spoons is better.

Very lively place, great for food, drinks and people watching

The apple pie was vegan only offered for custard. I did expect a butter pastry and home made pastry. It was palatable but rather like a cheap apple pie from a supermarket. This was the only negative so I will try a different sweet next visit. The pork was perfect and tender and tasty. We had 2 cocktails which we enjoyed. This was our 51st anniversary in liverpool for a few days, so it was an opportunity to try m@c for the first time. The staff were all polite. I was impressed to be offered water which is so important to be offered before the meal. Except for the apple pie, we enjoyed our experience here.

Arrived a bit early but were shown to our table and was introduced to our steak expert Kam who we found very helpful. We had the early dinner menu which I prefer as it cuts out the cabbage wedge which is a mystery to me why? Great service and good food.

Very generous quantities and very good flavor. We ordered a sirloin, tomato salad with burrata. For dessert I recommend the orange bomb with chocolate mousse

i have only been a steak fan as of lately, so tried out my first steakhouse which was coincidentally miller & carter. the service we received from the second we walked through the door was immaculate, i have seen some bad reviews about the dress code which i do not understand since the code was followed by all the customers and everybody looked so smart who was in the restaurant. other than that, not everybody can wear designer or can afford it! anyway, the meal and starters me and my partner received were cooked to perfection.we shared a bread board which was lush, i then had a fillet steak (which i’ll be getting again if i return!) and my partner got the ribeye which he enjoyed just as much! we were beyond full after we ate, there wasn’t a mouthful wasted 🤣🖤 everything was fairly priced for how good quality it was, service was immaculate, food was gorgeous. what more can you want? ✌🏼
