Tesco Cafe in Carmarthenshire

Staff were friendly, food was served quickly and cafe was spotlessly clean, but the ham and cheese panini was one of the saddest, dryest things I've ever eaten. Also, surprisingly bad value: £4.50 for the dreadful panini and £2.05 for a can of Coke

Excellent service this morning 7/7/24.Young gentleman at the till was super efficient and showed lots of common sense. All staff working conscientiously and an effective team. Good start to my Sunday morning, delicious breakfast too 😋

Lovely choice and great for Vegans and Vegetarians. We had the lovely Vegan Breakfasts.

I waited almost an hour for my breakfast to be cooked this morning and when it arrived it had obviously spent most of that time basking under a heat lamp! The fried eggs were rock hard and cold. Everything else looked like it had been cooked hours previously and then was just chucked on the plate when they got round to it! I used to breakfast at this cafe regularly on my trips to west Wales but not anymore!

The worst breakfast I've had in the county. Slow service as the cafe was understaffed. My poached egg was solid, my bacon cremated and the sourdough toast ( with avocado) was tough. By the time it was brought to the table it was all stone cold.

Quick pleasant service. Food (Halloumi Burger) was tasty

Long wait for poached eggs on toast. Our drinks were drunk by the time food came (20 mins later). Eggs were hard, toast was cold. Very disappointing, not cheap either.

Went to have a creamed tea scone tea ok nothing natural about the cream icky and sweet rubbish jam and stale scone

Always love Tesco, best bit good service and extra club card points. Staff always pleasant and good to see customers wearing masks

Was in the cafe carmarthen Tesco today and was served by a VERY NICE Asian Lady VERY POLITE and HELPFULL WAS A REALY NICE CHANGE THANKS to that Lady and the drink I had was VERY NICE TOOO (WATERMELON ICE TEA) YUMMY Mr Caradog Taylor

Always have a smile on my face when coming in here. Food is always fresh, tasty and reasonably priced! The breakfast is amazing and so is the fish, piping hot and so flavoured. The staff are such humble people here they always stop and talk in between us ordering and serving us at our table. Coffee and drinks are always top notch too 👍🏻👏🏻 place is SO clean too it literally shines

The place is well presented and staff are nice burger was lovely my partner had fish and was offered beans with it and said yes cuz that's actually what he prefers with his fish but it came out with peas why offer and also asked if he wanted tartare which he replied no but it came with it anyway like I said staff are nice just need to listen a little more this is reason for my 3 stars..

Served quickly at till (where you order). Food arrived fast and hot. Very nice.

Well love the decor it's so with what I expect from Tesco compare this to Haverfordwest which needs a overhaul. Staff were lovely, friendly inviting. I was impressed, relaxing chairs. It has a abeance of relaxation. Difficult in my case with 3 small children. I enjoyed it cappuccino lovely frothy. Food good choice. Handy lift straight to the cafe. Other end toilets. Cafe has it pinned would I recommend it. Yes this is one of the best tesco cafes I have been to. Now use this cafe as a template because this cafe offers customers its needs. Food usual fair ,good selection of drinks , children choices and cakes oh yes. I always push for lower prices 3 kids obviously. You are what your team is and well done because we will be back as Arnie would say. Very good indeed call in customers.

Nothing to write home about. Food is what you'd expect of a supermarket restaurant. Staff efficient & welcoming.

Called in with my husband as I know they do a 'good for you breakfast' ordered that and a large breakfast, however the first mouthful on both was luke warm but tolerable but as the seconds passed away they got colded and colder, we deduced that the air conditioning was to blame. Food is usually good with fair size portions, just turn the aircon down.

Whilst doing our weekly shop my wife and I usually have coffee at TescoCarmarthen.l have a cappochino,my wife has Latte.We also have a toastedtea cake.The service and​ quality of the food is always excellent.The price is very reasonable.Have also seen many customers having a full meal which always looks very appetising and very cost effective.Would fully recommend this cafe.

Excellent customer service, cakes to die for!

Wasn't too busy, so was served pretty quickly. Food was good. However food and cutlery were left on at least half of the tables. Tables were dirty amd in need of a good clean. Floor area needs a good mop too.

Had two chances. Failed both. Cannot see food only have a short menu. Both occasions food was slow, not far off cold and very dry.

Clean and tidy cafe with staff that were engaging with the customers. Maybe that's because the cafe is seen as part of the community, a place to meet and chat.
