Fantastic takeaway service with rather incredible Chinese food. Somewhat decent value for money in comparison to the competition.

Can't really comment on the atmosphere as it's a take away not a restaurant. Parking is not too bad. Food hygiene 5. Large portions, quality food. BE AWARE ITS CASH ONLY.

Just had a take away from golden dragon kidwelly i have to say it was one of the most disgusting food i have ever eaten! the crispy chicken marinate was so thin and the acidity through the vinegar could have stripped the varnish of any wooden piece of furniture or even the paintwork on a car god only know what a mouthful has done to my inside!

Worst Chinese iv ever had. Felt sick after and thrown away 90% of it and I hate wasting food.

Ordered chefs special Cantonese chicken, it was chicken in salty gravy with carrots & LETTUCE!! Worst chinese ever...if I could have given zero stars I would. £7 down the drain.

Pancake rolls not edible- dripping in grease. Food generally bland and tasteless.

My meal was lovely, except for the pancake rolls, neither myself or my partner could eat it, very oily and not nice, My partner meal she didn't like it it, I couldnt fault my duck with sliced mushrooms that was lovely. Hopefully put this down to an off night

Ordered over the phone.Had Chicken Balls with sauce.Was told they would be ready in about 10 minutes.When I arrived in 10 minutes and gave my name the Gentleman proceeded to rather a large bag in which food was being stored.The Chicken and sauce were Fabulous and really good size portions.However the batter was really soggy by the time I got home.The next time i 'll just go down and order at the premises.Would Certainly go there again.

Food OK, missing rice from order when I called up they wouldn't deliver or even offer an apology. Don't think I'll go again unfortunately 👎

Food was OK, but took a while for someone to come to the counter to serve me. I had ordered 15mins prior to arriving, when I got there I had waited in the shop for 10mins with no signs of anyone

Ordered twice from here and had something missing that I've ordered and payed for on both occasions. A shame because the food was reasonable. Poor service

Such a shame the customer service here is so poor as the food is lovely but when the order is wrong or items missing nearly every time and the boss lever cant even have the decency to sort it out and just hangs up on you then I won't be supporting their business no longer, terrible service

On a weeks break down this way. Fancied a Chinese. The Golden Dragon food was lovely, very tasty, decent portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Really disappointed. Chose a variety of dishes..but they all looked & tasted the same! How much different can you get than a rich,spicy orange red kung po sauce and a smooth and peanutty yellow satay? Yet both these dishes had the same brown, salty peculiar tasting sauce. Even the egg fried rice and Singapore noodles were brown, stodgy and lacked flavour. Such a shame as the menu looked quite exciting but the reality was very bland and poor cuisine

Chicken balls and salt and pepper chilli chicken was the most delicious thing ive ever tried. All the food was hot when delivered and tasted amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Stale prawn crackers . Chips tasted strange .. ñot great .Order was also missing item. Too far to go back

Recently visited this takeaway, on arrival back to the caravan found our order to be incomplete and incorrect. Chicken curry was bland with the taste of salt. Won't be visiting again when in the area.

The service has changed, not as helpful as it used to be and the meat in tonight's special fried rice and beef curry was like shoe leather! Won't be using them again!

When you have to drive back because your order was wrong, to be told basically that it's your own fault by the boss who starts shouting at you instead of apologising for her mistake, you change your review from 5 stars to 1 star. After 9 years of spending money here, never again. Disgraceful customer service :(

Best chinese in the kidwelly area in my opinion. Will definitely be getting food from here again. Everything ordered was of a very high quality and very tasty.

We read peoples reviews before buying food at the Golden Gate but the place has very mixed reviews. We decided to take a gamble and the gamble paid off. The food was delicious. Will definitely use them again when we stay in the area.

Awful food, I've eaten from plenty of Chinese restaurants and this was by far the worst, plus I when I asked for my wife's mushroom fried rice to be made spicy I was charged an extra 50p, but on the menu it was on 10p for the same dish to be made spicy, I would strongly advise against eating here

Have food from here every time that we stay at Camarthen Bay. Well cooked, good value and tastes fabulous

I am never ordering from here again. Once again my order was wrong even after ordering in the take away. Only noticed after getting home when and dishing out...I Phoned and they ask for me to bring back down which I did. Thinking it wouldn't take long. Yet I had to wait an additional 10 minutes!!! no apology what so ever !!! even though I said I'll be eating on my own now and not with my family... As by the time I get back everyone else would have eaten........not been her for a while! Even after last time they gave my children sweet and sour ...hot ... Verdion ... By mistake ..... Now they gave me prawns when i asked for chicken! and NOT GOING BACK..EVER ..... Even though very very local!

Fast service-ready when I asked. However the food was poor quality. The chicken in both special noodles and chicken balls was dry like cardboard. The chips were awful, However they did agree to a full refund when I take it all back-Wednesday!
