Tesco Cafe in Carmarthenshire

Nothing wrong with the cafe but the lift has been out of action for months so the cafe is inaccessible to anyone in a wheelchair or who needs mobility support. Which is unacceptable.

I usually only go into the cafe for a coffee. However, by my limited experience and its reputation, the food is very good and well presented. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful, and you are always greeted with a smile. Excellent service. The menue is pretty good by supermarket standards. The only criticism that can be levelled concerns the frequency with which the lift is out of action (over the past few months anyway). It must put off some less able customers.

Been 3 times recently looking for a cooked breakfast, apparently served ‘all day’. They are as the staff decide to stop cooking whenever they feel like it which is as early as possible. Twice told only cakes and coffee, and today arrived at 14:30, 90 mins before closing to be told toasties only. Had a toastie which wasn’t toasted, just a big warm, floppy mess of a sandwich. Disgusting. All served with a side of attitude from the older female staff member. Useless cafe.

Called at Tesco in Ammanford today, while working with a gentleman with additional needs. Firstly, can I add the two staff, that were working, were exceptional and, still maintained, to carry out orders and cooked food/coffees, at a brilliant standard and time frame. The lovely lady on the tills, believe her name is jessica, is a credit to your store. Always happy and helpful and made our experience, 10 times better. Thank you jess, your a diamond

Arrived at the cafe at 4pm. About 7 customers seated Asked for scampi and chips. (No signs saying they don't serve hot food (. I was told they close at 5pm so unable to make me a hot meal only drinks and a cake if required. Terrible service. A whole hour until closing time but couldn't be bothered to cook a meal Two members of staff chatting continually behind counter. Took 10 mins before I had my coffee.

Very welcoming staff, good prices.

All they offered was a Toastie. It was un-toasted bread with ham on top, another un-toasted piece of bread with cheese melted on top… bunged together. Order took 20 minutes? Cost £7.50 Happy, not at all.

Food is tasty and affordable. Better coffee than some of the specialist shops

Tables weren’t cleared from previous customers, long wait to try and get served and there were only 2 customers infront. Staff totally disorganised. Very poor. We left with buying as with two young children they were getting restless and hungry.

Food expensive not as good value as Asda.

Food was nice and wasn’t left to wait too long for it. Only issue is one member of staff don’t know her name she was very rude for no reason not helpful at all. She wasn’t very polite causing problems no reason and over charging for a small meal. When I politely went up to her and asked her she kicked off and asked another member of staff to sort it out. lovely food but unfortunately just that one member of staff was very rude she shouldn’t be allowed a job!

Perfect portions and price, the staff always make the experience so good too.

Love coming to this cafe. The young lady with green hair is absolutely superb every visit.. Every time we come in they always give the best service

Come here all the time. Nice staff and decent food.

A good place to sit and drink a coffee or tea while looking over the store. Situated at the rear of the store on the first floor. Assistants always polite and friendly. Drinks and bakery items at a good price.

Like warm and rock hard egg. Not sure if it was bacon or a bacon crisp

My grandchildren always look forward to their "Tesco Breakfast" each week, and so do I! The hardworking staff are very friendly, ensuring that each meal is served hot and is of good quality;. As of November 2022, still offering excellent and unbeatable value for money.

Had lunch today with my son, wasn't particularly busy, had to wait nearly 40 minutes for the food,was it worth the £17 I paid for a tea,latte,a breakfast and a bacon egg roll,NO the breakfast was over cooked the roll was under cooked .avoid this cafe at all costs

Good range of food. Piping hot and good value

The 2 staff on yesterday morning were rude & unhelpful. We waited 2 mins at the front where they could see us and we werent acknowledged until we almost walked out & were asked "Do you want to order food?" We ordered 2 breakfasts which we were told would be 15mins& they took over 30mins. During our wait we saw them doing lots of eye rolling when other customers were asking where food & drink was. Very unprofesional.

Very disappointed there was no rolls for sandwiches only sliced bread and no muffins .it was only 11 o'clock. It's tesco for god sake they sell bread rolls.

Great for avocado toast or eggs Benedict breakfast.Mark is great and very helpful. There is also traditional breakfast menu always available but I have not tried it.

Nice sausage bloomer (decent sausages!) And a nice cup of coffee .what more could you ask for? And the staff are friendly too.

Popular self service cafe. They do a nice breakfast at a reasonable price
