KFC Llanelli - Trostre South Retail Park in Carmarthenshire

Apart from the aweful music being played instore , this is a great place. Great food.

I always enjoy a good kfc but when I order a kfc threw a delivery service they always end up not giving me an item that I have ordered and I can never seem to get ahold of them ever

Danny saved the day. People in the back totally messed up my order and going to KFC is a treat so I’d rather get it as I want it. Whoever hired Danny was thinking because he’s doing his best and sorted my meal out.

Food was good restaurant was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly.

You need to sort your mobile app out, your taking the money then saying the order is cancelled

Drive through took ages, speaker either intermittent or staff only half listening. Male taking the order not helpful at all. Young female at the service window didn't smile or actually say anything at all, not even a thank you for the custom that keeps you in a job as customers can easily go elsewhere. Miserable experience but food average, so thanks KFC Trostre, you can put a dampner on an experience, buy elsewhere and feel more valued, for sure.

Do not visit KFC on a regular basis,we just find it better value than another fast food outlet situated in close proximity.

Quite often order kfc normally good. This time missing items poorly prepared cold food. Worst of all tried calling store at least three times no answer. Online complaints not working just keeps loading page on submission feel like I've been robbed. One thing to get food your not happy with. But to not get what you have paid for. Want be using again.

Dried up chicken on the bone. Mink chocolate milkshake was full of ice and tasteless 😝

Absolutely shocking place for food. Staff handling food with hands and no tongs or gloves.. food was cold when I got it, and the 3 meals were thrown on a tray all mixed up.

Need to learn to read apparently as they clearly can't just ordered food from uber eats and got the correct receipt with all wrong food in it I'm fuming

Every time I order food to my house there’s always something wrong either missing items or items replaced with stupid changes no effort to maintain stock level to demand or clearly don’t care either get better staff or staff that care

I've had better and worse from KFC, this was ok at best but better than McDonald's at anytime.

Why have a contact number when you never answer? We ordered a 10pc wicked variety bucket with yourselves and received a 6 pc and the fillets were missing. This isn't the first time this has happened. For the prices you charge you'd think you'd get it right. 👍

Nice and clean, always a fast service and food is fresh.

Ordered at Llanelli drive through on 23/05/24 was served by such a lovely lady named Rhia. Customers service was excellent and such a happy positive person. KFC are lucky to have her on the team .

Finger licking good, good food as always, given exactly what was requested, and we enjoyed it.

Ordered a boneless banquet meal with pepsi. Not a lot of pepsi, a lot of ice. Was a lovely suprise half way through my meal realising I had nothing but ice left to drink. £10 for a boneless banquet now and they are just ripping you off.

Good service, bit of a wait though. Had to wipe table clean ourselves. Disappointing food- we found chips coated in something spicy/pepper so couldn't eat them 😔

Ive been to this KFC many times in the past, the tables are always dirty. The waste bins (now segragated into c6 bins) majority were over flowing (it was quiet with few customers). My order was done within 5 mins, though the place was nearly empty. Despite not being under any pressure to get food out, they still got my order wrong. As I was tired and hungry, I just ate it rather than the faff of waiting again whilst the rest of my food would go cold. All of above, something I see alot of now in many fast food outlets, this is what you get for employing kids!

Prices have increased so only come once a month now as a treat-service inside a bit slow

When they manage to get the order right it's fine.

I'm not happy the fact that they do not deliver where I live anymore 😒 😕

Food wasn't consistent, some chicken tasted of corn flakes, not good

The person (girl with black hair) who served us on drive had a terrible attitude. Not one please or thank you just barked the price at us and said nothing else. The food was half cold because it was just sitting there in a bag for 10 minutes while the other food was cooked. The fillet bun was a bit stale.

Always good food when I've been here. The service inside and through drive through is fantastic.

Food is good, it's a KFC so easy enough but check your order when using drive thru. They have a tendency to forget something on a regular basis

No exaggeration, every time I have a delivery it's wrong. Three times I've received beans instead of gravy. Twice no fries and no drinks. Shambles.

Had a chicken strip meal eaten a half a strip and swolled it to find the meat looked like pink cat food. I was ill for 2 days and lost 2 days work also. 22nd Feb 2024 Ordered a box me then got given 4 fries in it. Being mugged off now! If that's not taking the piss then I don't know what is. Worest KFC by far I have ever been too. 👍

Shocking! Ordered takeaway this evening and they forgot drink, which was paid for. Stated not ordered, so showed them the receipt. Driver said nothing he could do and left. Tried to call several and no answer - what a surprise!

Food was somehow slightly over cooked. Staff were friendly and polite. Was concerned to see on 2nd visit that the floor and tables were untidy and unattended even though not busy customer wise. I thought the first visit they must've been busy but the staff don't seem to clean up properly between customers. Food and rubbish on tables wiped onto the seats then the floor but not removed from floor.

Food items missing from order. Had a 4 mile round trip to collect the missing items.

Staff were ok. Mini fillet burgers were overcooked and buns were dry. And pepsi was half full (half of which was ice) . Such a pity it is the only one in Llanelli, they have no competition and can afford to serve poor quality food and give a poor service.

Paying by cash, we had to wait to be served as the girl was busy filling orders from those using the pre pay machines. Not sure if everyone should be wearing disposable gloves still, Covid is still about, and food hygiene is essential. Food was quick and hot.

The food tasted really nice but there were several bits of our order missing and the smell for another family who ordered before us so just best to check before you leave.

Searched for the vegan burger on the self services menu, could not find the option. Asked a member of staff if it was available, the staff member asked then shouted across to a colleague a number of times, as he was enjoying a funny conversation with another member of staff, and was not paying attention, he was then told no not doing then today. No reason why, I felt from the attitude of the person serving, was unprofessional and they were behaving childishly. I can honestly say I get the impression that they just didn't want to have the hassle of cooking it more than there were a reasonable reason for not having it on the menu. I think a more mature member of staff is needed to monitor the staff. Poor service, very disappointing.

The gents toilet are absolutely stinking. The smell of ammonia is overwhelming. I don't think its even something that can be cleaned. I mean pee smells of pee but when there's so much ammonia and it makes your eyes sting it must be ground in to the tiles, floor, pipes, urinals. They say you should judge a restaurant on the cleanliness of the toilets, I dread to think how hygienic the food prep areas are.

They first got one order wrong.. asked for a twister wrap meal.. received a popcorn chicken snack box (really don’t know why these sounded the same). Then told them we have the wrong order.. charged us and extra £4 for STILL not the correct meal. We gave up and left with the chicken pop corn that we didn’t ask for.. for it to have MOLD on. Never ever ever again.

Clean and tidy with a prompt service. Food was hot and well presented. All items were available on the menu.

Shocking!! Manager is an absolute melt of a person… shocking service from this branch.

Food as usual as you would expect, service was quite long and forgot some of our order so had to return to collect.

With a drive through this restaurant is handy if you've limited time. Good selection of food, served quickly. Normal KFC pricing. No faults whatsoever.

We both had a boxed meal my husbands fries were half the amount of mine, the corn tasted old. I went to the ladies before eating and there was no loo roll in either cubicle, yet the sign stated that toilets are checked regularly??? I spoke to the duty manager who said that they'd been very busy, I told him that this would not have just in the last hour and that it would take 5mins for someone to check and fill the dispensers. We haven't been to this restaurant for a while but have always compared others we've visited to this as it was always good but not anymore. We are very disappointed with you in Llanelli.

Customer service training would be a massive benefit here. Waiting by the window after ordering, not 1 member of staff acknowledged us, we were there about 12 minutes before they even took payment. When they finally came to the window I asked what was going on as I'd been here ages and not even acknowledged by anyone even though they could see me, to get told Staff Change over (bear in mind I can see everyone), no apologies just attitude, and then to add to it, they got my order wrong.

Two pieces of chicken in this banquet and about 35 fries that looked like they had been in the fryer a week. If this is a banquet then I hate to think what the budget/saver menu is like. Awful food.

Food was cooked well and was hot. No issues with this place. Nice and quiet too.

please put the prices on the menu and actually display what’s available because some of us don’t know and can’t guess

Was pleasantly surprised how clean and tidy. Most K F C's we have been in have been untidy and not very clean.

In need of a lot more staff, as the service was extremely slow, the food was cold, and everything you touched was greasy. Not a good experience. This is the reason for the low ratings.

Tasty chicken, colonels secret recipe, all that stuff. I did enjoy a face full of chicken, mayonnaise on my cheek and salsa sauce all over my fingers. There's no feeling quite like it. And to experience this under the unblinking gaze of Colonel Sanders, his portrait pasted onto the walls above you, is a joy. The service is mid-paced, as fast food gets slower all the time. But that's not a problem, and nor is it limited to this restaurant. The slowing tempo of fast food restaurants is universal. I've never met a fried chicken that I didn't like.

Delivery food was more prioritised than eat in customers. No atmosphere I'm the restaurant, was being watched by staff

When asking the staff what came with the boneless box he had no idea. Asked was it his first week and he said no been here months. Find it shocking your staff don't know what is with a meal... other than that food was nice

Always get my food very quickly. The staff are very respectful and aim to please with whatever request I've had from them on every visit. Some are so friendly even that they throw me some good sauces for free, extra drink for my friend, even got free cookies on occasion :)

I got nothing nice to say, food was terrible worst kfc I've had, attitude of staff was just disgusting. Need a proper adjustment, if it wasn't in an establishment those in particular would of had some repercussions.

Used to love the hot wings but now they always seem dry and over cooked with hardly no taste to them

Lost than usual eating as the last time I went there for a take away, I had an issue with ordering on the app. It does appear flakey and doesn't always work first time. I was charged £31 three times. Still waiting for 1x £31 to be refunded. Disappointed.

Service was excellent and food was good would definitely pay another visit to this place

I went here tonight and I'm absolutely disgusted with the quality of food, standard of hygiene, and lack of cleanliness in the restaurant. I will never eat here again. Everything was dirty in the restaurant, the toilets were the cleanest area, no staff were in the eating area, the bins were over flowing, every table was filfthy and the standard of food was terrible. I will be eating in Pizza Hut next time. What a horrible experience. Worst meal and environment ever!

Orderd 6 piece family bucket , the meal was off extremely poor gualiy, very little meat all fat and skin and was extremely greasy , worst meal I have ever had in a kfc ,they would not have 1 star rating from me ,but that was the only way I could write this review ,avoid 😡

Used loyalty app for 2 Zinger burgers, fries, drinks, hot wings and side orders - £10. It was delicious.

Food well overdone, staff didn't know what they were doing, couldn't work till, no manners and just didn't care. shop was empty.

Never eating here again. The food here gave me severe food poisoning that lasted more than a few days, which caused me to miss work. Wasn’t even that nice.

Not very clean but this is typical of most KFC premises.

Firstly this is the only complaint I’ve ever written. Just ordered a boneless banquet and was shocked at what I received. Firstly I was not offered a sauce choice when in the drive thru and I was not given a spoon or fork with my order when my side of choice requires one. Secondly the amount of food was terrible. One of my three mini fillets was probably around a third of what a normal mini fillet is. A handful of chips and a tiny popcorn chicken. All thrown in a massive box. I appreciate the state of the world at the moment but paying for a meal which costs over £7, I would expect better than that. Or even get the things that are included in the price! Not good at all. Won’t be rushing back.

Ordered food at 9:15pm as a previous place we ordered from cancelled the order, at 11pm our order was cancelled from kfc, there was a driver waiting for the order to be picked up at 10pm but they cancelled so another driver got there and because they probably took too long my order was cancelled meaning 11pm is too late to order any other delivery around by me, the service is absolutely shocking 🤮

Very poor ordered a ten peice bucket 7 were all leg meat. Never again.

Order system didn't work as we had to queue to get to the window to order. Also ordered family feast and chicken looked barely coated with batter and greasy. Shame used to love kfc

We use the KFC in Trostre fairly regularly. Have learnt to check the order before driving away as they ALWAYS forget something: side, dips, popcorn chicken. We tried delivery tonight, boneless bucket and a burger. No burger in the order. Food might be great but their service is just shocking and never seems to improve :-(

I only order delivery twice a year maximum and for good reason it always arrives stone cold. Thank god we have two air friers lol but seriously they could do a lot more to ensure customers receive thier food at least at an edible heat. The food is sound for a takeaway obvs but sound non the less.

Absolutely terrible service, the staff were acting as if they were in their own home messing about, locking uber drivers out, falling on the floor, being really loud. It was a horrible atmosphere for the young children with us. Food order almost all wrong, no receipts and no table card stands

Mighty bucket meal simply horrible Dry chicken and very salty. Chips dreadful. Last time I will go and order this dross. Service good hence the second star

The vegan burger is banging. Absolutely lovely. I waited for 15 minutes for it to be cooked when my order finally came out it was wrong... Very apologetic staff.

Gravy double bucket missing pop corn chicken when I got home. No receipt in the bag, so no way to complain.

I like KFC I do, but they make so many mistakes with online orders for delivery they need to re think their system, I've wasted money on items I've wanted and not got, will not order online again

Visited this KFC while on holiday in the area. Food was tasty and hot quick effecent service.
