Tesco Cafe in Coventry

Such a disappointment! Sad to say we won’t be going back for a repeat breakfast. As the photographs shows, the sausage was burnt, the bacon was covered in black “bits” which didn’t look appetising in the slightest. The beans were very congealed and had turned a very dark colour and the egg was as hard as a bullet. Having a cooked breakfast is a real treat but unfortunately this cooked breakfast was very, very far from being a treat. Finally, to top it all the toast was stone-cold. When a staff member came over to remove plates, we told him the breakfast was dreadful and received a shrug but no words as he waked off. At this point, we just wanted to get out of the place. We won’t be going back for a repeat breakfast!

I had a toasted tea cake and a tea it was excellent you actually got a little pot of butter enough for the whole tea cake excellent value and the tea was lovely

Tesco cafe has recently been refurbished and is now inside Tesco’s Ricoh arena. I am not a supermarket cafe person but I would choose this as my place of choice anytime I want a coffee or some food without the airs and graces and prices of other establishments. I like the fact that it is spacious, clean and bright. The staff are friendly and the coffee is great! I like the fact that all their food is displayed with the calorie content so I know what I am eating. The triple cooked chips are divine. In fact I just love everything about it. There is enough space to keep you trolley by your table. The best thing about the cafe is the quality and presentation of their food. I like the fact the coffee is served in a proper cup and saucer too. 10 out of 10

Popped in with my wife for lunch. Were greeted with lovely friendly staff who were so caring as I am disabled they took special care of us. We had an all day breakfast and couldn't beat it. Lovely food great friendly staff and good price what more could you ask.
