D&D Picioca - Restaurant in Coventry

Very good food.. prices ok.. I'm glad they added more things to the menu. They had to. The octopus was super well done. Great bean and perissaure soup! I recommend! I'm back with changes...I've been there twice..and the food was full of oil..extremely much oil. This makes me not want the octopus there anymore. Update: I went again.. the food was super salty.. When I said.. he didn't even bother to apologize or offer us an alternative.. a pain in the c.. like I've never seen before. Not a single bit of common sense. Total disregard for customers. I don't see them anymore. I do not recommend! He doesn't respect his customers at all!

I was in this restaurant for the first and last time, the waiter does not understand English at all, my wife and I ordered 2 dishes, the waiter brought only one after 40 minutes of waiting, it turned out that she simply did not understand that we ordered something else. When we asked for the bill, she brought beer, well bill and beer are almost the same words😂😂😂 The dish we tried was oversalted and tasteless

I ordered a beef soup. They reheated the soup twice in the microwave so hard that I had to wait 20 minutes to eat it. Luckily I also ordered small ones, otherwise I would have left hungry. I also had to pay £8 for a reheated soup. Better say you don't have anything fresh. I will not come to this location again. The other is 3 classes above.

My partner and I visited today as we have always had Papanasi on my birthday and we were passing Coventry so stopped to try. Papanasi was amazing. Quantity and quality. Mici was one of the best I've had from UK and back in Romania

Beautiful authentic Romanian food and at a very decent price

Food is not good at all. I ordered the mixed seafood platter and the octopus was uncooked rubber with no taste. It was just boiled and put on the plate. You couldn't even eat the lobster. The fish was underdone and the squid was chewy. The prices would be ok if the food was done properly. The little ones were also unmade.

The restaurant itself is good. Food very nice. Service no problems. I have 3 stars only because every time I go there always missing something on the menu… they need to fix this. Make sure what is on the menu have it! That’s not good for business. If you don’t have it take it out of the menu.

I have been to this restaurant several times. The food is generally good with few exceptions and the service is fast, but the waiters are typical Romanians, angry and upset, you can't tear away a smile from them. At one point I ordered papanasi and sent it back because it was callous. The patron came to take care of us that he tasted it and that it is cold from the cream. I have eaten papanasi in the same location before and they were hot. I recommend the patron to go to English restaurants to see how a correct service is done and how to approach such a situation. At one point they had some menus as if they had been through the war and they changed them with ones that you say are from the time of communism, on which they wrote the new prices with carioca. Everything seems to be done cool. Avoid live concerts on the weekend where the soloist screams not sings and the music is loud for such a small venue in my opinion. The bathrooms smell bad and the hand dryers don't work. The general aspect of the location is unkempt.

Change the time so that the world comes at 10:30 p.m. and say that it closed at 10:00 p.m....

It was awful, absolutely disappointig this place. Food was bad as the staff. Fodd wasn't fresh, undercooked. The server was arrogant.. We was on the other place in D&D Picioca Coventry Shawarma Romaneasca in Lythalls Lane wich absolutely briliant 5*.Best Shawarma in Coventry. That's why we thought, gonna try in Earlsdon but wrong decision. Don't go nearest.

The food execrable! Service made in Ro .. even in the time of the cup there was no such thing! Much less stars .. 👎

Good flavorful food of good quantity at a fair price.

Amazing romanian restaurant. Everyone working there is friendly and welcoming. The design is modern and the place is very clean. When it comes to the food everything is amazing from the grills they do or the traditional romanian dishes to their delicious desserts. One of my favorite restaurants in Coventry. I totally recommend this to anyone who likes great food!

Absolutely Brilliant food! Huge portions , very small prices. The staff team is very friendly, smiling, smart, fast and adaptable to any wishes of their customers. They are specialized in Romanian traditional food which is very tasteful, fresh and excellent cooked. A good place for a business meeting or a family dinner, but it offers intimacy for a romantic couple, as well. Almost every time when I was traveling in Coventry I used to have the lunch at their place. Recommended 💯!

Dacă as putea n as da măcar o stea! Cea mai proasta mâncare gătită și soțul și a luat și o porție de lamb chops! Oribile și cu carnea pe ele de nu ți ajungea nici pe o măsea! Cea mai proasta mâncare gătită pe care am mâncat o vreodată! Fără niciun gust și ce sa mai gatita prost tare! Si restaurantul e departe rău de unde sunt obișnuiți romanii sa mănânce! Nu recomand ! Letting off fireworks in the middle of a busy road on NYE and NYD is not acceptable. In your garden yes, but In the right in the middle of the road with cars passing over them is simply unacceptable. It’s not safe. went in, asked for manager who was sitting down and didn’t even get out of her seat to acknowledge me when I made it an issue. Excellent customer service! I love fireworks but I don’t love rounds going off right in the middle of the road.2days on the bounce is ridiculous

Preturi mici, servirea destul de OK. Mâncarea calitate medie. Carnea foarte sărată și se simțea că nu e proaspătă.

This place is a little gem. The food we had was delicious and the service was great the value for money was second to none. We had a shared meal and it was a fantastic sized portion. I recommend you give this place a try
