This café, now operated by Tesco staff, offers a modern setup with convenient contactless ordering terminals located just to the right as you enter. The prices are competitive, and there’s a great variety of options that can be easily tailored during the ordering process, which I really appreciated. The coffee was served promptly and was enjoyable, and I liked that the food is cooked fresh. Although the wait for my meal was longer than expected, it’s reassuring to know that everything is prepared with care. The person serving was friendly and helpful, even pointing out where the condiments were located. I especially liked the use of proper bottles of sauce rather than fiddly sachets—it’s a nice touch that enhances the overall experience. This café has a lot of potential, and I’m looking forward to returning. With a bit more coordination between food and drink service, it could be a fantastic spot!

Poor experience today. The male that “served “ our coffees was rude and could do with either training or a job elsewhere. He literally banged the tray on the table, spilling the coffee and walked off. Not a word was said. Won’t be back

Perfect pitstop for a quick and tasty meal before or after tackling your shopping list. The prices are fair, and the menu offers an interesting array of options. On a whim, I decided to try their fish baguette, which exceeded my expectations in taste and quality. While the weekends may be bustling with activity, making it slightly challenging for the staff to provide exceptional service, weekdays are quieter and more conducive to a relaxed dining experience. I'll definitely be back for more tasty treats and the convenience of a quick bite while shopping.

Lovely atmosphere, really nice staff and good opportunity to relax. Decent prices that you can expect, quality of coffee same as Starbucks. Better than Starbucks actually since you get a tray, tissue, proper cutlery and a nice ceramic cup and small plate. Will come again :)

First time visit since cafe been refurbished. Now Bright, spacious and colourful. Only one counter now serving food drinks etc. Enjoyed our coffees. Will be back :)

Been here on multiple occasions and it's always been a great place for cheeky cocktails and good food. Came here recently and found our the menu had shrunk by a lot which was disappointing. The cocktails I loved where no longer available. The staff when we went were not very friendly and not approachable. Such a shame as it was a good place to go to. Won't be back.

Booked a room, meal and champagne package. We were given a menu with no prices and no guidance on what was included and a bottle of champagne. Meal was normal for this type of chain. On checking out we were told that there had been an additional charge from the restaurant but the receptionist could not tell what it was for. The hotel had decided that their level of service warranted an additional 12.5% which was also added to the bill. Perhaps it would have been more if they had supplied what we ordered or explained their additional charges. Other hotels typically show a supplement next to choices on a menu the staff taking the order then confirm this. An invoice or receipt in other hotels typically shows what a charge is for. We were asked three or four times, by different people, if we had any allergies. It gives the impression that they weren’t listening to the answer the last time they asked, just repeating stock fillers.
