Dinos in Dundee City

chips and haggis pudding very tasty, smoked sausage was decent but it was definitely a mattesons smoked sausage from the shops and not your typical chippy smoked sausage

was ment to be doner chips and cheese they sent without cheese food was was late but it was tasty

Never had a bother here before but tonight it wasn’t good

I like Dino's but the fritters were undercooked, and the pizza was overcooked. Pizza was also topped with stray bits of batter from whatever else was being fried. No salt and vinegar like I asked either so it was all just bone dry. A miss this time.

few mins early but we did say asap great food as normal.

love dinos food is great service is great my food did arrive cold so that had to get reheated in microwave that then made it horrible and hard to eat. this is the first time I've had this issue I order alot. I will keep ordering hopefully this doesn't happen all the time

Usually fantastic, but my chips, cheese and beans was just chips and beans this time. A little disappointing. But food hot or warm and fast delivery as always.

asked for garlic sauce only to taste mint sauce mixed in with it . couldn't eat any off the items purchased because off this 🤢

Bit of a dive and only takes cash. Didn't buy anything as we only had card and the food didn't look good.

chips pretty dry , sausage had no taste . chicken pakora burned. rest was OK.

fish and chips were good, as were the sausages. pizza was disappointing, very doughy and extremely greasy. ended up in the bin after just a few bites

all food very greasy and tasted like it was deep fried in the same oil . i asked for the sauce to be kept seperate on both meals , bit this didn’t happen , so most food was wasted , very dissapointed

Food was hot but chip rolls where soggy had zero taste to them.

Was good two nights ago, however, the chips were just grease. Didn’t enjoy at all.

The food was late and unfortunately not very good. All of the food was warm at best instead of hot. The fritters were very greasy and nobody ate them. Kids nuggets were also not eaten as the children didn't like the taste, they thought they tasted strange. The chicken pieces in the kebab were far to large and lacked flavour. the kebab sauce tasted like pizza sauce with a little chilli in it. Very disappointed, felt the food was a lazy effort and really not good. dindnt help the fact it was very late. Will not go back. Delivery was 18:55 pm

Ordered food for me and my mate, they delivered the food in the allocated time, unfortunately they brought no sauce or drinks. So he said he would go back and bring it, I suppose more fool me as he didn’t say when he would bring it. Just 50mins later. Usually this wouldn’t bother me but I’m staying in a hotel so had no drink to go with it. Food was great. Service and delivery was not so good.

They go to the effort of cutting the reduced price labels off their bottles of juice so they can skin you £3 for them. Nice food but that's mental.

Disgusting service. Tried to charge me an extra £6 delivery charge what I had ordered and paid online through just eat. Then when I said my mum didn’t have any cash on her as I had ordered it for her they just cancelled my order. So rude and just awful!

Ordered small vegatarian pizza small kebab and chips pizza had no flavour or seasoning had one piece rest went in bin we man's small kebab small being operative word hardly any meat wotsover deffo not worth the money the chips looked fresh but unfortunately was all the crumbs and hard bits actually cut my gum never ever would I order from here again.

As a customer who has had several deliveries from Dino's have to say this, for delivery last night it is first time not able to give 5 stars.Delivery was later than estimated and food although as normal was tasty and had generous portions I would n't say it was the usual piping hot delivery was on verge of meeding to put in microwave, am hoping this is one off dip in usual excellent service.

As always quality of food is excellent, generous portions, arrives hot and tasty. Beats any other chippy when it comes to fish and chips. My first choice for chip shop, pizza and pasta.

I'm convinced people who like this place haven't had a good fish supper in their life, bones !! Out me right off and the batter was like rubber fgs. Asked for salt and vinegar on the chips for both..got none. The battered pizza was good.

Look no matter what any one thinks dinos has the absolute best pizza based food... Cheese garlic pizza base/bread is 1000000 legit the best in dundee.. enjoy any pizza as it is unreal ...take care bhoyz freddie

Food always the best quality which is all that matters, staff are friendly and conversational what let's them down is the interior is a bit 50's Diner Style so they should play on this or modernise it .

Ordered a cheese and onion baked potato but it came with no cheese?! Just a plain potato with onion 😂. Large kofte kebab was fantastic tho and delivery driver polite!

Calzone was brilliant and cooked to perfection. The fish was crispy and tasted really nice. The white pudding wasn’t dry like most places. Would recommend any of these meals.

Delivery very poor. Tried to call for an update but got no response despite 3 tries. Food was good but my dressed fish was on the crispy side. Have used this place on a few occasions and it has been fine but not on this visit.

First time I have ordered from here and won't be again. Chips were good fish batter not crispy at all . As for onion rings these are unedible the batter is so hard . Went in bin. Only good thing was chips and can of juice. Not happy

First time ordering here. I ordered the kebab combo with the chicken and sheesh. The chicken was absolutely delicious - no complaints at all and I will order the chicken kebab again in future based on this. The sheesh however was extremely chewy and most of it un-edible. You don’t get much nan with the kebab but I still enjoyed it. I also had to order a side salad as it wasn’t included with the kebab which isn’t normal in my opinion but nonetheless I still really enjoyed the side salad. I just think it should be included with the kebab as standard. Overall I really enjoyed my meal and the delivery driver couldn’t have been nicer. :)

Chips were Great, Cans of Fanta Great. Donner kebab was much the same as everyone else's except no salad as in description and you are unable to remove the tick from the box saying no salad when ordering. Shis kebab was AWFUL! The lamb was so tough it was impossible to bite off a mouth sized piece, so out came the Steak Knife and even that struggled to get through it. So I now had a smaller bit and after what seemed like forever chewing and it still wasn't swallowable. I gave up on that bit. Tried a second bit in case it was just a one off , but sadly no so that ended up in bin. Also no salad as described and same checkbox problem when ordering. Chicken supper can't really comment as a lot and I do mean a lot of chili sauce had leaked from the Shish kebab and found it's way into the chicken supper and left the batter soggy chili batter my son would not eat it so that went in bin also and we had a quick homemade bacon and eggs. £25 for one edible donner kebab and some chips is a bit steep in my book so In future if I order here again I will stick to the chippy side of the menu, which to be fair, I have never been disappointed with in the past.

Ordered large kebab got small took foto pizza bottom was soggy no it wasn't pineapple it was veg also since when did barbecue sauce become so spicy you can't eat it .

Absolutely amazing. Food was delivered fast, fresh and hot. I ordered the battered smoked sausage and chips with a two litre bottle of Sprite and a Mars bar. The battered smoked sausage had just the right level of crispiness and the chips were cooked to perfection. The Sprite was chilled and refreshing and an excellent and delicious accompaniment. Not to take away anything from this amazing culinary experience, but if I had one suggestion, then it would be to offer salt, vinegar and sauces on the online menu as an option. I haven't had the Mars bar yet, that's still sitting in my fridge, waiting to be enjoyed with a cup of hot, fresh instant coffee later on this evening.

Pizza was soggy, chips were cold, onion rings were so hard one cut my gum, and the fried mars bar was cold and hard, totally inedible all round huge waste of money!

We have recently moved outside of dundee and we were craving a white pudding supper. Anyway cut a long story short we took a shot at ordering from dinos. We weren't too optimistic of a chippy travelling well but it came quickly and tasted amazing!! We will now be regular customers. So thank you guys. X

Good was great piping hot and on time.

Never had a bad take away from here. Portions are really big and great value for money. Usually use for the chippy but had some of the kebabs today and they were also very good. Our go to chippy in Dundee.

Great as normal, food always tasty, hot and early or on time.

Dino's is my go to for a chippy, wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is always spot on, portion sizes are always generous and they always throw in a little extra on the side.

Best take away I've now moved to Byron street sadly you don't deliver this far but tandoori Hut do they are also Charleston so why can't you deliver from Charleston if tandoori Hut can

Food arrived early, was piping hot. Kids enjoyed the kids deal, chicken nuggets, pizza and chips. I got a doner wrap, was very very dry. Didn’t taste like there was chilli sauce on it, was like a tiny bit of tomato purée.. other than that delivery etc was good and will probably order again for the kids.

I find this chip shop good but only if it freshly made dont have to wait that long and do have seating area you can use while you wait
