Tesco Cafe in Bridgend

We’d be lost without Tesco Café – and especially Liz and Rhian! Every week, after swimming lessons with three toddlers and three babies in tow, we head straight to Tesco Café – it’s become our little tradition and the highlight of our week. Amid the chaos of tired little ones and exhausted parents, Liz and Rhian are always there with a smile, ready with breakfast muffins, hash brown bites, kids’ pic n mixes, and the all-important coffee. They go above and beyond to help us settle in and feel welcome, and their kindness and calm make all the difference. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without them – thank you both for being the heroes of our Friday mornings!

Stunning food. The offer of fried bread is very welcome. Value for money.

I have ordered, "THE BIG BREAKFAST" I don't know what's big about the breakfast is ? You get two tiny sausages, spoon of beans, one toast without butter, one egg, one bacon, and three hash browns! No tomato, no black pudding, no mushrooms I mean nothing else without hot drink ! For £8.95 I am curious what you get a normal breakfast?! But it's ok I have tried and never will come back as you have plenty of other restaurants in Bridgend which will serve you more for less !

Great breakfast at a great price! Would definitely come back here again. The cafe was clean and tidy. Food was nicely prepared. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We got food poisoning from the food here which is a feat given we only ordered jacket potato with beans.

Just ordered the halloumi iomi burger I have never seen such thin slices of halloumi! Was meant to have smashed avocado, this was not present! Has really gone down hill!

Sausage could not be cut, rock hard hard cold egg cold food, expensive especially when you cant eat some of it

Dine in brunch post shopping expedition 🙄 Mine was poached eggs on toast and baked beans, my friend had waffles crispy bacon and maple syrup, nothing fancy. My meal was fine and I enjoyed it. However, the reason I give a 4 fir the cafè and food is that my friend said that there was far too much syrup which spoiled the meal, (she left the biggest part of it) perhaps if only a drizzle had been put around the plate, rather than having the plate, and food swimming in the syrup she would've eaten it all 🤔 Otherwise service was quick, the food was hot, our surroundings were clean andcwell kept,xand the staff were smashing 👌

Stone cold and hard chips. Absolutely disgusting. Chicken burger tasted microwaved, but at least it was warm. The coffee is okay. I can't recommend it.

Awful ... they are so slow, half an hour, to get breakfast and then the breakfast was cold

Absolute rubbish, just left the table in disappointment, both myself ,wife and child had the same experience. Under cooked bacon, almost raw egg and everything else sat cold on the plate. We would expect this standard if the cafe was actually busy, but given there was only a hand full of customers upon our arrival I personally think this is unacceptable to anybodies standards. It is safe to say we shall never return .

Absolutely shocking...don't waste your money!!! Breakfast served up in a cardboard box with wooden cutlery 😬i was worried my beans were going to leak out but once i opened the pot i had no fear of that happening..how many days have they been left? Dried up cold beans 🤢Never again!

Visited today , social distance was brilliant , the lady serving us ... I didn't get her name but English Brummy I think, absolutely brilliant had us in stitches ☺️

Says open till 7 pm, but closed at 6:40!!!

Staff are absolutely lovely and it's always been clean and tidy when I've visited. The young lad whose worked there a while is fab and always chats to the customers and definitely has the gift of customer service. The quality of food could be a bit better in my opinion but perfectly acceptable for the cost.

Waited 38 min and when it came freezing had a baby with us asked several times about food was not even busy bad bad if I could have give 0 it would have it for smash and bisto gravy terrible

Lovely staff, especially the guy with dark hair who's always smiling and making little jokes - what a legend and great asset to the cafe. I also enjoyed the food I ordered :) left a message in the feedback notebook!

NORMALLY no complaints have enjoyed my meals in TESCO CAFE .Today however my fish was cooked so the fish melted in the mouth, the chips were dry and rubbery and cool, seemed to be chips that had been waiting for a time prior to have been ordered. Hope this is a one off
