already had a bad experience with my deliveries before but decided to try again only to be missing half of my meal :/ really disappointing

Fresh quality produce in a fast food environment The price reflects the quality you get, but still hard to fork out these prices with the typical fast food seating a little extra and you can get a lot better dining experience that said still the best fast food outlet for burgers

The burgers and milkshakes (salted caramel and bacon sounds disgusting but it’s amazing). Expensive compared to other fast food, decent compared to a restaurant…

Very unhappy after ordering two meals,an extra hot dog and three shakes,costing almost 60 pound for delivery, turned up on time but was missing 2 hot dogs and all three shakes !!!! Driver didn't really care and said I should get in my car and go there myself...... extremely unhappy with the service and now having problems getting our money back, it shouldn't be so difficult to receive your money back after destroying a families evening meal...

Great food and super staff . Extremely welcoming and Alex who served us was patient and very helpful. A long day in the saddle and perfect end with a fantastic burger and those fries ! Amazing food . A big 5 star thumbs up from us .

I love five guys, & I don’t know why, but it just doesn’t taste as good in Bridgend. I don’t know if they do something different with it because all the ingredients are the same, but it’s just not as good. Fries were absolutely awful last time. We never go to the Bridgend one. No problems with Cardiff Centre and Cardiff Bay one. It’s weird.

Absolutely Appalling !!!!! Total complete and utter waste of £23. Had Burger and bacon which fell apart into the almost rewarmed unbelievably salty fries when I attempted to remove it from brown paper bag it was served in. Difficult to describe the taste of the burger, sufficient to say if you had any taste you wouldn't eat it, best I can do is bland with a touch of something not quite right. We left in disgust and disbelief, leaving the vast majority of the " Meal" on the table. at least it didn't spoil the diet.

Pretty decent. I went to try their hotdogs as I've never had one before.. Cheaper than the burgers and fairly tasty, and the fries we're good. They are a little small though.

I came here last night for dinner and a tallish girl with mousy brown hair was quite rude when serving me. Not the best customer service experience.

It's a five guys. They are consistent all over the world. No more to say.

The place itself had a strange odour, As if a dirty floor mop had been used ,if that makes sense. A dustbin sour odour. 4 staff members , working at a snails pace. Burger was just warm , very mean on the add ons .eg, onions /lettuce etc. Chips had been kept warm. Milkshake was ok. Used the toilet , which appeared clean to the eye ,, but had a strong smell of wee . The whole place needs a good clean . It was empty , so I know why now.

Food delivered via uber Nearly an hour late and totally cold Called to complain the ‘Manager’ said they had processes that prevented this happening He couldn’t process that it was cold and inedible

The layout isn't amazing given the space available but the great food and wonderful staff make that utterly irrelevant!

The fries were crispy and generously portioned, definitely a highlight of the meal. However, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was paying a premium for what is essentially fast food. While I appreciate the quality of the ingredients, I can't help but compare it to more affordable options like McDonald's or Burger King, where I could get a similar meal for half the price. It’s hard to justify spending that much, especially when you’d need to work 2 hours for this on a normal wage. Maybe it’s a treat for special occasions, but for regular cravings, I think I’ll stick to my usual spots. Still, I can see why some people rave about it—if you’re looking for a gourmet fast-food experience, 5 Guys might just be worth the splurge now and then.

Since eating a cheeseburger in this restaurant, which by the way was pink in the middle, I have had griping stomach pains on the way home in the car and have had diarrhoea ever since. I believe I have had food poisoning.

We order a takeaway from 5 Guys. Not recommend. Meal looked as if thrown together plus drinks missing from order will not be back.

When you're in there, the walls are covered in glowing reviews to tell you how great they are! They obviously haven't been to Bridgend yet! Stick that on your wall!

First ever visit, and sadly the last. Exceptionally over priced for a very small burger. Plastic processed cheese, most of which was stuck to the foil it was wrapped in. There is absolutley no justification for charging £10.95 for a bacon cheese burger that was far from "premium". Overall, very dissapointed.

DO NOT EAT HERE Myself and my partner both ate hamburgers on Sunday (1 normal hamburger, one bacon cheeseburger, 1 medium Cajun fries and one refill drink) at roughly 6pm. We paid £29.60 for the food. However, we have both been horrifically ill since we ate this food. Since 11pm Sunday evening, I have been up vomiting every 30 minutes since I got home amounting to 23 times! As well as having diarrhoea. This is the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced. My partner has also been having explosive diarrhoea and vomiting since roughly the same time. This meant we have both had to take a day off work to recover from this and possibly more depending on how we feel on Tuesday. We have both continued to have sickness and diarrhoea throughout the day today. This from a burger is unacceptable. We have both eaten at five guys in different locations and never had a problem and would like to continue to be good customers but I don’t think we will be returning. We would like to make a formal complaint about this, what action will be taken for this? We are experiencing pretty dreadful food poisoning so if the same standards of hygiene continue here, others will suffer the same consequences as us. Will we receive a full refund to compensate for this? We have also reported this issue to the food hygiene standards agency.

Absolutely disgusted with the price of the food. Two cheese burgers, two small fries and two shakes £40!!! The burger was 4/10 just a standard burger, didn't get that wow factor, no flavour in meat. Fries 0/10 literally beyond salty. Threw them in bin. Shake 10/10 Also the atmosphere is soooo loud they pump music. So annoyed I payed it tbh. That's almost my weeks shopping worth of money 🙄🙄🙄 Never returning again and will be telling people about this price and lack of taste.

Great service and food is amazing!! Shame the restaurant is quite cold and also has dirty tables/floor which weren’t cleaned in the half hour or so we were there.

Five Guys is usually my favourite place to grab a bite, but this specific branch must have had a really bad day. The store is quite small, so seating was limited, and most tables were left messy for the entire 35 minutes I was there, despite quieter moments. The fries were stale and lacked flavour, while the burger buns were soggy and greasy, with the burgers put together poorly. On a positive note, the staff were friendly when taking my order. I usually have good experiences with Five Guys, so I’ll raise this with their customer service and update my review if things improve on my next visit.

Having already tried the other four Five Guys locations in South Wales, this was the last one on our list. We ordered two Burger Bowls, one Double Cheeseburger, and two drinks around 8:45pm. Unfortunately, the staff seemed uninterested, and the atmosphere felt cold, much like the food. There wasn't any mayo, relish, or mustard pots included with the bowls, resulting in a rather dry overall taste. Even the drink selection in the Freestyle Coke machine was limited and tasted weaker than at other locations. Shocking standard of food. Over £10 for a sweaty foil wrapped burger and £4 for chips served in a takeaway cup. They were so salty we couldn't give them to the kids. First and last time we'll be visiting. Avoid

First time visiting at 5guys Bridgend. Burger was stunning it was oozing with gorgeousness. Bit pricey tho, but ok as a treat. Staff were friendly enough. They need to employ someone to clean the tables as they were not very clean.

Expensive, mediocre food and poor service, slow service, wrong order and a complete lack of help for disabled customers, won't be spending my money with Five Guys again.

Entered first thing at the weekend morning. Ordered, then went to find a seat. Unfortunately every single table was covered in sticky, filthy muck. Bewildering, first minute it's opened and not a single table was clean? All you had to do was walk around the restaurant to see the major problems, where was the management, or supervisor? It's a basic responsibility to make sure every table isn't covered in greasy, sticky, saucy filth when you open. Was this a failure the night before, or on the day? We used to clean restaurants at the end of our shifts, but we'd make certain it was clean when we opened too. They had loads of staff behind the counter just mucking about, so wasn't like the resources weren't there, was just lazy or poor management. Can't imagine ever coming back again as I don't find it acceptable that I have to clean my own table. Also, should make clear the regular burger is a double.

Great service. The man on the till looked up allergy ingredients for my husband. Not too long a wait for the food. The food was hot,fresh, and tasted AMAZING! I will definitely be back!

My partner ordered an Oreo and salted caramel milkshake but was given a Reece’s peanut butter shake instead without knowing. My partner is seriously allergic to peanuts and had a severe allergic reaction. He then complained that he was given the wrong shake and their response was “shouldn’t be eating here then” no apology or sympathy. Really disappointed as we are fond customers but will definitely no longer be visiting this restaurant anymore!

Lovely food but a bit expensive

Overpriced, cheap, processed food. I now know why there are no pictures of their products in their properties. I asked for 2 cheese sandwiches, what I received was 2 burger buns minus the burgers. I expected slices of bread. Not even cheese, it was the plastic bright yellow burger cheese. I asked for mushrooms with mine, they were also tasteless, plastic, tinned mushrooms. Salted caramel milkshake just tasted sweet, cherry drink was watery. Chips were ok, but over salted. Paid £23.89, then had to ask for a knife and fork as I am a carer and the lady I look after needs her food cut into bite size pieces. No cutlery, sauce or serviettes available to obtain without joining queue to probably be charged for the sauce. My 1st and last visit to 5 Guys.

Overpriced and ordinary. Over £22 for burger and fries which is nothing special, seems like daylight robbery. Burger hastily put together and was a mess. Cold fries.....Best part was the milkshake - that was quite good, but nowhere near worth the price tag. You could feed a family of 4 elsewhere......

For a very long time I've believed this place to just be an overpriced McDonalds. I stand corrected. I was wrong. We went for the first time today and the food quality was better, the service was great and the milkshakes (wow!). When ordering a burger or hotdog you can choose your toppings as standard. The fries are skin on and just delicious.

My 1st time visiting & didn't realise you had to tell them what you would like inside the with ghe burger eg, lettuce,tomato etc. The person at the till was so patient & helpful even on a busy Saturday. When the food was ready, which was really quick it was out if this world. Its like gourmet burger on fast service, the burgers are huge so glad we shared a fries. Will definitely be visiting one again soon when out & about.

My first an last visit food was greasy wrapped up in foil food was OK I suppose tasty chips was nice. I wouldn't say the food was bad but definitely not worth £33 for 2 burger an chips .

Love five guys, but the food isn't consistent in the bridgend branch. Missing condiments in a previous visit (no big deal) but undercooked soggy fries is something I've never experienced before from this chain. Better to stick to the Cardiff branches.

It is a great Burger, with unlimited extras. I had the bacon cheese burger. Added a Reese's milkshake which was lovely. Recommended

The food is delicious! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with two extra patties, and it was amazing and the burgers were fresh beef. The fries are sooooo tasty because of being fried in peanut oil. And don't get me started on the fresh made milkshakes. You can choose your own flavour combination and it's a good thick shake, no super sweet syrup flavour stuck at the bottom of the cup like other burger joints. Can't wait to stop by again!

The burgers were lovely but I ended up spending WAY more than I'd have liked. The food was very tasty but the burgers are all double burgers, no option for a single for cheaper cost. (Edit: Thanks for the owner response, I'll try again one day) I also ordered a regular fries each for me and my partner, when the girl at the counter asked if we wanted to share one I was perplexed and declined. After receiving our food, I was then aware that they throw in way more chips and I had enough to feed myself 6 times over. I ended up walking out of there with the same confusion as when I first went to a bubble tea place.

Great place for a hamburger to your liking, excellent choices as well. Everything cooked to order, note that peanut oil is used, but there are signs clearly indicating ghis or for any other allergy, etc. Chips cooked with real potatoes and drinks via a machine . Service is fast and efficient, very clean as well, kitchen is open so customers can see what is going on. Whilst you may get a full meal dwal in another outlet, this is off a different class and standard as everything is fresh. It's very worthwhile for sure, very busy place can certainly recommend.

A bit busy for my personal preference but service was great. First time going to Five Guys, didn't know what to expect. The guy at the till walked me through how to order without judgement. The food tasted fantastic, but the bun was a bit too soggy. Might go again, but a little pricey for what it is.

For the price and size of the portions, you will be let down. Save a bit and go to McDonald's opposite.

He patiently guided us through the menu, providing valuable insights and recommendations to help us make our choices. His knowledge about the food offerings was impressive, and he made sure we had the best dining experience possible. I highly recommend Five Guys for their outstanding food and unique milkshakes. Their attentive and knowledgeable staff, exemplified by Ryan, added a touch of excellence that will definitely bring me back for more.

This was my first time in a 5 guys. The food was tasty but value for money left a lot to be desired. I was surprised at how much smaller the burgers were compared to a burger king XL double cheeseburger. The staff were helpful and friendly, but the cleanliness of the seating area wasn't great. We stayed in the establishment - choosing the cleanest seats - to eat and found the background music too loud, which made conversations difficult. In summary, I am glad I went there, but I won't be back as I do not believe I am getting value for money. (It's an overpriced Burger Ki ng) If the website had pricing on it, I would not have gone.
