Tesco Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Food was okay but missing one of the fillings, service was excellent even though there was just one person serving.!

Simple yet good fried breakfast. Great price & quick service.

The food was nice, and drinks were good, too, with a special motif on my hot chocolate. We had breakfast before we went shopping. The place was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and friendly. The place was not too busy, with plenty of places to sit.

I ordered a big breakfast but without hash brownies. First of all they charged me the same price and didn't deduct for hash brownies ( but if you want something additional they charge an extra £1.40). Second- big breakfast according to the menu included 2 sausages - should be honest and say 2 mini sausages( maybe inch or little bit more each😬). Apart from that everything tasted bland. The staff was ok.

The food is great here, nothing fancy. Just good food at a reasonable price. Staff are always friendly and polite.

Food is usually top-notch, staff are lovely but queing times are often a pain. Food slightly more expensive than Morrisons but better also consider morrisons cafe is all of the shop as of late.

My husband and myself thought Scampi and chips and garden peas. Chips looked perfect ???? under cooked. Scampi 7 small thin shapped I mean small didn't even look like Scampi shaped. Peas cold. 2 people working one in kitchen ...one on counter. This was 3pm mid afternoon. I know there are cut backs. But surely having staff is a priority...... There was no heating on in cafe or store....???cut backs?.

Cozy. Great food and coffee. A great "hiding place" if you need to sit and think.

we ordered fish and chips and when it arrived it was appalling. My wife's fish was virtually inedible, I couldn't get my knife into it, it was like rubber. The chips looked fine on the outside but they were undercooked in the middle. never again.

Small portions for the price, everytime we have a egg here it's never cooked properly!! Cold food brought out too.

As per usual staff were overworked in busy times.Busy place.Sausage wasn't cooked on mine but others OK.

Rubbish breakfast, cold beans hard egg, not nice at all and I ordered extra black pudding and it was inedible! 🤮 (and I am someone who can stomach most things) And finally the outside walls of this store are going green! Come one Tesco Redruth, buck up your ideas as your a disgrace to the rest of the family of Tesco stores…

So I have to say the colleagues were super friendly during our visit, but the food was the smallest portion I've ever seen! I know the prices are very reasonable, but the katsu chicken bowl was a disgrace. A very small coated chicken portion which was nice, but only approx two teaspoons of rice and salad. I mean the rice and leaves are the cheap bits. Very disappointing lunch.

A very clean and pleasant cafe. Ideal for coffee and cake after a busy shop.

Didn't eat here only had a Hot Chocolate which was only Luke warm, so took it back and it was replaced with a hotter one.. No questions asked.

Typical supermarket foodhall but clean and friendly, not too busy and didn't feel rushed

Very busy at 1ish with only 2 staff (on till and running food)working and no won to help them. Lovely lady serving coffee very professional. Defo needs more staff to clean and help as long wait in cue

Tesco cafe really upped it's game since I last went to one many years ago. Nice breakfast for a reasonable price and love that they have the option of Assam tea.

The staff on the counter were very friendly and accomadating, the servers from the kitchen were not so friendly I had to wait 40 minutes for my order to arrive with an egg that was solid a sausage that was burnt aless than cooked tomato and no butter for the as it had been placed on the plate and melted , pretty poor effort for such a simple dish This site will not allow me the opportunity of a 2nd review but hear it is .... please can someone explain how on earth it takes over 20 minutes to serve a toasted tea cake The staff on this particular day had no personality they Al oozed ike the had sucked the juice out of lemon Service with a grimace , this will be the last time I will come here ☹️☹️

Lady behind counter very helpful , we had a lovely half hour over drinks with son in law and Grandson hand over after childcare day, mummy and daddy were working, clean pleasant surroundings.

Five minute wait for a table (fine in Covid times) But a twenty minute wait for a flabby, fatty bacon bap? Add coffee and orange juice - £6.60 Overpriced. Not worth the wait.

Delicious Food with Friendly Smiley Staff

Great all day breakfast friendly and efficient staff and working charge point for car.

Do NOT go on a Friday, it’s the worst. Early week the person who cooks is really good. Fridays you get a sloppy mess of fatty, undercooked products, including fat drenched fried bread and hash browns accompanied by a sausage that glanced at a hot oven from some distance away. If you manage to avoid the undercooker you will get a great brekkie but unfortunately Tesco don’t share their rotas.

If I could give this cafe 0 stars, I would. Whilst I'm not usually particularly fussy, this cafe stood out for all the wrong reasons. When we arrived with our 2 children, we found no clean tables. After cleaning our own table to sit at we waited an awful long time for our coffee, we had to ask where it was, to find it was left on the counter going cold. We witnessed plenty of other people cleaning their own tables, cooked food sat in the hatch for at least 5 minutes before being collected and served to patiently waiting customers. All tables surrounding us were left un-cleaned for the duration of us being there.. the table next to us had left their receipt.. we looked at the time of purchase out of curiosity, the time on that receipt was an hour and a half ago! Proving tables are sat untouched for hours! Absolutely shocking service. Whilst the staff were not particularly rude, they most definitely had a 'cannot be bothered attitude'. Total waste of money & we would never eat there again.

While I'm not expecting a supermarket cafe to be amazing it would be nice if it could at least not be plain bad. No clean tables, incomplete/wrong orders, needs a good clean and some better management.

Very slow service coming from the kitchen, waited 30 minutes for a breakfast and there was no queue infront of us.

Mix up with ours and somebody else when we got our food I had the bigger breakfast which was not very hot my partners bacon bloomer had been sitting under the warming lights that the bread had curled up at the edges and gone crispy we will not be eating there again

Tesco Extra, Poole, Cornwall, do not do any iced coffees or iced drinks of eney kind shame.

Surprised at Tesco for how bad this cafe is, the food is expensive for what it is and the service is poor. They had one children’s sandwich which was stale bread with a small amount of rubber cheddar. The gents toilets are a disgrace I hope it was a plumbing leak and not urine that I had to walk through and no blimin soap! My wife did say the ladies are fine.

Terrible bacon bloomer. Worst quality bacon ever. How can you serve this to paying customers?

Usually a good place but today it's an absolute farce. 15mins just to place an order because they put someone on the till that doesn't know how to use it. No plates for the cakes. No serviettes. Mocha is as weak as dishwasher and when I eventually got my food the order was wrong and it tasted disgusting! Just how do you ruin a bacon sandwich??!!

Always clean nice staff good value for money food

Staff unfriendly not even an apology for waiting for a single Latte for over 20 minutes with only one customer ahead of me. Ceiling leakages... Cafe is unhygienic with food scraps still on tables. Next time I think I will just put the kettle on at home safest bet.

Very confusing where to order and where to queue, staff were rather unfriendly. Tables were dirty - lots of crumbs etc everywhere. I found it quite expensive for what you get. Had a tea cake and hot drink, the drink (tea) was lovely however the toasted tea cake came out cold with rock hard cold butter - No ideal or particularly pleasant to eat.

Very slow service and weak coffee.

We had to wait 10 mins for our drinks after order. Wasn't even busy. I had to clean our own table and wipe down. All tables had dirty plates on them. Cake and drink was fine just the state of the place was a total let down.

Average. Nothing exciting so don't expect too much. Doesn't come up to the standard of other supermarket cafés. Value for money not wonderful. Good for a coffee or tea but little else.

Breakfast was ok, nothing speacial. They could pick some of their better produce to serve in their resturants.

Only recently moved to Camborne and this breakfast was a great treat to break up the move.

Coffee is always lovely and hot. Not a lot to ask you might think but I couldn't count the warm coffees I've had over the years in other places.
