We were delighted with the excellent food, service and friendliness. We got the chicken kebab and there was lots of it. The pitas were particularly wonderful. The gentlemen on the staff knew we were in a rush to catch a train and they were very accommodating. The delicious aroma of the food filled our whole train car.

Food was decent, good to fill the stomach if hungry (especially if you're gonna get some drinks after) Got bribed with a lolly for 5 stars, though if he only said to leave a review later without stating for a 5 stars, would have been higher honestly lol

Been coming here for years. Only tonight was one of the worst kebabs I’ve had in my life. Over half hour late food was cold and I actually just chucked it away. Disappointed and loss of 23.50

Quite often the order is wrong. Chicken Donner, often ends up with getting Lamb Donner which I hate. Last order was dry, even the pitta was like saw dust Waste of money, oh and yes, incorrect order again.

I am a local and I can honestly say this place is absolutely disgraceful, They were very quick to take my money, the food was late and by the time I had realized they sent the wrong food the driver had already gone, so I called to ask for the food I had actually ordered and I had a disgustingly rude man try to convince me to keep the wrong food order because they were busy! and when I refused he accused me of having an attitude and threatened to ban me because I dared to insist that I received the food I had paid for! He then said that I would have to wait another hour and a half for my food as other people's orders were now ready to go out! He then put the phone down on me because I was insistent that my order comes first as I had already waited longer than I should of and none of this was fault as he and/or his staff had got the order wrong! I would like to take this opportunity to say the ban really isn't necessary as I will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely cracking kebab shop. We had a chicken lamb shish mixed kebab. The meat was perfectly cooked and tender and the pitta bread was toasted to aa excellent crisp. The service was friendly.

One of the best kebabs I've had and definitely the best in Cornwall and super friendly people. Quick service and good price! Definitely recommend.

they really do do the best kebabs in town and as good as best anywhere else! particularly the mixed chicken one in my opinion which is on the rotating pole like the donner one. The service is good and efficient and the place is clean. What lets this place down is the mature oldest guy that serves. Example - I asked for a chicken kebab (which is £7.20) he said "I'll do you special one my friend "- winking , and put lamb, donner 2 types of chicken in then goes" £13.50 please" I said" I only wanted chicken" he says "no you have special" I said "I only asked for a chicken " so now it turns into a dispute then he says "tell you what have some chips on me as well." - as if to settle the dispute but you still pay £13.50! its happened a couple of times to me now something along these lines - only with him the others are fine. For that reason I refuse to go back.

The food is little bit expensive, don't do discount for locals

Food was late missing items and the bread was so stale it was inedible. These guys used to be good but gone massively down hill also they have disabled their ability to accept phone calls.

Fresh and delicious food. It's very nice and tidy place. They have excellent service. Staff is very polite. They are ready to help you if you are new. Prices are reasonable. Parking was a bit issue. I would recommend everyone to visit this place and appreciate them. Thank you for your great service in Cornwall

Ordered a takeaway but it got cancelled, when I phoned to enquire where it was I received a mouthful of vulgar abuse shouted at me. Utterly disgusting how they speak to customers. Avoid this place! Many nicer takeaways in Penzance to choose from who value your business.

Gotta say that’s the best chicken shish ever. Husband says it’s the best kebab and chilli sauce this side of Glasgow. Delivery was really fast. Can’t fault it guys. Well done and thank you.

Excellent very friendly service, amateur comedian. Kebabs are tops, with home made traditional sauces yummy. Wide selection of takeaways burgers, pizza and the usual kebabs choices. Well worth a try, you won't be disappointed. Ps delivery also with reasonable fees for long distance.

People are leaving bad reviews but I don’t know how. We ordered a meat feast,garlic sauce and a mix donner kebab. All was amazing.the donner and chicken was cooked to perfection.we asked for an extra pita bread which he gave us for free. Friendly staff. The pizza was amazing. Big chunks of meat. Lots of cheese and the base of the pizza was amazing. Garlic sauce was also amazing.was very quick and only took 10 mins and was warm when we was given it. 100% recommend.Thanks!

Bought 3 cheese burger was absolutely dead. Worse burger I ever had. They gave us salad which was disgusting and smelly.

Ordered a cheeseburger for collection said 10-15 minutes arrived after 30 minutes hadn’t even been cooked!! Told them not to bother I don’t want it now as didn’t have time to wait, ”” then the kebab man proceeded to shout and swear and have a tantrum like a child!! When they were the ones who couldn’t cook a burger in 30 minutes! Won’t be going back! Far better kebabs in Penzance than this one

Ordered food at 10:32pm, 00:19am I called to ask where my food is, he asked my address 4 times, told me he doesn’t ,about th something I couldn’t hear before handing up. I called back again straight away, told him I didn’t quite catch what he said, he got angry and said “You know you’ve called 4 times now, your food is on it’s way!” This is the 2nd time I’ve called, he said it’s on its way I just hung up because I didn’t feel like being shouted at. 00:50am I called back and asked if the delivery driver had many more order to deliver before getting to me, he said he didn’t understand the question, he asked if I wanted to order a delivery, I told him I would’ve liked my food to have been delivered 2 hours ago. Again he asks my address 4 times before passing the phone over to someone else, they ask if they can help, I repeat it all over again, he asks for my address and speaks over me then asks me again. They then tell me I didn’t make and order, then they accidentally start reading the order and realise I can hear them reading my order on their “system” he then apologises and asks what I want, I told him I’m hungry and want my food, he said the receipt didn’t print properly and it’s not their fault but they’ll get it to me straight away. 1:19am and it’s finally here. Not only am I upset that I’ve waited 3 hours for my food but it’s finally here and despite how hungry I am, the food is vile, chips are bland, chicken is dry, Doner meat is over cooked, never eat from here again. I advise all of you never to eat from here again!!!

There was too much fat on the chicken which caused us to immediately spit it out after a few bites .As well as that it had too much sauce and was horribly cut into big cubes. Chicken wasn't grilled properly , it tasted like raw chicken . Worst chicken donner I had ever in my life.

Definitely won’t return 1salad pita 2 slices cucumber teaspoon of lettuce minuscule piece of onion and 2 teaspoons red cabbage for £4.50. Having a laugh. Chips so hard couldn’t eat them. Hair found in the food. overpriced awful food will never return

Friendly service with good food. Handy for on train or waiting room food but can't eat here. While waiting you might want to walk up the hill to Tesco for dessert & whatever, the food will be waiting when you get back. I try to buy here every time I visit Penzance.

Really nice kebabs. We had the mixed Donna and chicken shish both really tasty and fresh. When we moved down from London I was worried we wouldn't get a decent kebab shop but this place is great. Really tasty and the chips are really good.

food was terrible. they piled the kebabs high full of coleslaw and sources. was not asked what we would like on it only wanted a bit of salad. the meat for the lamb shish was not lamb could not even describe what it was . would not go there again . dose not even deserve 1 star

Not Good, this place is a scam they want to charge a minimum order of over £20.00 plus a delivery charge. Total rip off. They would rather lose an £18.00 order to another Kebab shop than drop the £20.00 minimum order. Good Business sense.

I liked it on my first visit there. That's why I recommended my friend to eat here during our Penzance trip, and she agreed. We ordered and waited 45 minutes for take away pizza. However, we had to leave before we got our order to not to miss the train. It was very stressful and I was embarrassed to my friend. It was the only negative experience of our trip, I will not go again.

older gentleman in the shop was very rude, never had experience like this from any other holiday area. beware make sure to order your sauces before... otherwise if you ask to buy sauce afterwards you will be treated rudely, the man started shouting about how we should have ordered before... honestly just wanted to buy a tub of garlic sauce for the kids as they saw it on the counter top and asked for it! on arrival to our hotel we now notice the pizza base was well under cooked. its a shame its ruined you holiday to Cornwall.

Disgusting! The first time we ordered before closing, the order was cancelled and took 2 days for a refund, no answer from shop when called several times but decided tonight to give benefit of the doubt but my Order was made nearly 2 hours ago and just delivered stone cold, tried calling the shop and no answer!Cheese hadn't even melted on chips, so clearly cold when dished up and grease on the chicken burger bap. They know they have orders out for delivery 2 hours after the order yet refuse to answer the phone. Clearly all about the money and nothing about the customer service. Should be ashamed!

Ordered 3 kebabs from here for our tea tonight, mainly chicken and lamb donner and I thought they were all superb and delivered on time by a nice man who rang just before he arrived. I would definitely use Ali Baba again.

Not really one to write gushy reviews for pizza but when its this good, its deserved! Best pizza I've had, lovely kebab too. Updated: ive ordered a few times since and food is consistently the best quality delivery food ive ever had. The burgers are amazing too!

Just had a meal from there. Everything we have ordered was really really good. Fresh, tasty and large portions. I'm still unsure what I think of the service though but I'll let it go this time...

I think the only restaurant open in Penzance late night. Good for a bite after a long train ride or if you're in a pinch. Lamb döner with the salad was satisfying. Chips were served without mayo which was a bit disappointing even though we asked.

Terrible customer service, awful food. Waited an hour and 40 minutes for our order. No apology or anything of the sort. Kebab incredibly dry and inedible. Burger bun soggy and greasy. Phoned to complain, but the customer service was just as terrible. Told it was my fault as I put the wrong phone number in (despite reading them the correct number from my order history). Avoid.

It was not the best experience.Took lamb shish kebab and chicken shish. Meat was not how it should be at all, chicken was over marinated, lamb was so hard it was difficult to chew.. 😢.

Ordered it for 6 and it arrived an hour early all cold didn’t taste nice the pita was stale n I don’t even want to know what they done the the coleslaw as it was far from appetising wouldn’t go here again also there that hard up for money the delivery guy ran away with our £5 change

Best Kebab I ever ate in UK, nice meat, fantastic and juicy salad. Very friendly and smiley people . We only visited Penzance for 3days and discovered on our last day of staying. I never believed we can ever get a good kebab in uk and there we are. Highly recommend, would give 10 stars but max is 5 so 5stars to you guys. All the best !!!

Ordered 2 chicken shish and 2 10 inch pizzas for a family treat. Our delivery was on time and all the food was hot. Our kids were over the moon with the pizzas. We were especially happy as our daughter is a fussy eater and she demolished her pizza with ease. Our chicken shish were well marinated and served with ample salad. The portion of chicken was more than adequate as well. So in a nutshell yes we will be ordering again very soon.

Chicken doner and salad was one of the best I’ve ever had.. very prompt delivery, food hot, so I would certainly recommend it.. The customer service skills of the person answering the phone needs a bit of work tho and make sure you repeat your order cos when she made a mistake she blamed me for ordering the wrong thing or not being clear..! All resolved satisfactorily - eventually..
