Tesco Cafe in Uttlesford

I ordered lunch for my family and was not that hungry ordered a cheese and caramelised ciabatta the food came out and I bit into my lunch whete as a life long vegetarian 37 years they had given me a cheese and ham chiabatta wich was awfull I spat it straight out went to the kitchen and they had followed the order that had been wrongly sent through from front of house while I find this disturbing I'm gratfull that I did not have a food allergy. This is the second time this has happened 2 me hear luckily the last time was only earl grey tea over English breakfast. I tried to raise a complaint via Tesco website but there is no complaint section for the cafe so I jave sent a what app message to tesco asking for assistance less than impressed that I was given meat in my vegetarian option

We came today and lovely welcoming service and really good food which came out fairly quickly.

Appallingly run, half of the menu was unavailable, ordered a bacon roll and after an hour we had still not received it. (The cafe was not busy). Cancelled our order will not be returning.

Regularly come here. The food is good. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Occasionally, there is a wait for food due to short staffing but they always apologise. The big breakfast is as good as most places.

Every time we come they are short on food. Not sure how this is possible when they’re next to a Tesco Superstore. Staff are always nice, but very frustrating when they don’t have options.

Nice cafe and my children always enjoy the food. Couple of complaints. Can you please have one member of staff doing coffees whilst the other takes orders. It takes so long in the que otherwise. Also my cutlery was dirty and hadn't been washed properly

Two breakfasts and a childs meal took nearly an hour to arrive at our table, eggs were hard had drunk our drinks long before our food arrived! Not recommended over priced! Use beef eater for breakfast

This is a great value and great quality cafe. The staff are lovley and I enjoy seeing them when I pop in.
