Tesco Cafe in Carrickfergus

I had brunch here. The cafe is seriously understaffed. The girl who was working was pleasant and took my order promptly. I went and sat down and watched her take several other orders. I realised that she was the only member of staff. She had to take the orders, go away into the kitchen to do the cooking, while trying to make sure there was no-one waiting (on the other side of a wall), bring the food to the table, clear the tables, serve more people... What an awful job - what kind of organisation expects one person to work like this?

We use this regularly when shopping with our grand-daughters. The food is plain and simple but very good quality. No matter what my grand-daughters ask for, at any time of the day, the staff are willing to comply with their requests. The ladies are so lovely, caring and helpful. Highly recommend.

Had breakfast on Sat morning, waited 10mins to be served the guy serving was taking orders, clearing tables, bringing down the food and cooking with no apron on!!! The breakfast was uneatable raw mushrooms, hard egg etc, my husband had the breakfast bloomer which was hard, the butter wasn't spread and the bacon cold, we drunk r tea and left not touching the food. Tesco should be ashamed

Visited on Sunday 6 January and found to be very busy. Plenty of shelf stackers in evidence with accompanying cages taking away cardboard. Some aisles resembled an obstacle course. Some other aisles were almost deserted owing to large expanses of empty shelves. Found same kitchen roll in different locations at different prices! Unfortunately I also found premium pricing on lots of very ordinary items, not attractive to hard pressed families. Finally with 3 items I went through a manned checkout and 5 meters later skidded on a discarded banana. A kind gent passing, asked if I was ok. I spoke to a nearby checkout operator requesting the attendance of a supervisor. She was a bit lost but said she could get a team leader. Linda arrived and cleaned up the mess, she also enquired if I needed first aid. My overall impression is staff have too much to do and are missing things like bananas thrown away or dropped accidentally. Unfortunately banana disappears into the floor background colour making it difficult to see.

Just an average supermarket. Has all you need for a weekly shop. Workers were happy to help. Not any different from the competition

Iwent to tesco cafe this morning in carrickfergus to have breakfast before I went food shopping. Monday 24th September. I was greeted by a lovely happy bubbly lady named Lisa, she took my order which was the healthy option of smashed avacado toast, bacon, tomato & and poached egg. Lisa brought this to my table, told me to enjoy and she even did a checkback on me, such a lovely lady & breakfast was beautiful, so thank you Lisa 😁

Station openings hours poor and petrol is always aleast 2 pence per liter more than all other station including all other Tesco fuels save money on a fill by driving 1 min up the road

Big store but they keep running out of the basics and the toilets are always not working. The upstairs restaurant is the worst we have ever been in and would never eat in it again. I hope M&S food hall arrives soon.

Women served the family before us, with their food and completely blanked me and my friend - we then stood there for 10 minutes, and still no sign of the women. Thanks anyway, good cheaper food somewhere else with excellent customer service!

Went into the café for a coffee and something to eat. Very poor selection. and pricey. My gripe however is with the staff. The lady saw me no doubt about that but chose to ignore me completely. She went into the kitchen so I waited and waited and waited. When eventually she came out again completely ignored me. I might as well have been invisible. Eventually I asked her in an assertive manner if there was anyone to serve me she could barely acknowledge I had spoken. Eventually I got my coffee but even then she did not speak to me or acknowledge my "thank you". Oh and there were only a few customers in the café and no-one else waiting.

Having been in a few times now i am always served by a woman called sadie i think her name is. Firstly. How on earth did she manage to get a job in this sector. She is rude no please or thank you and never makes eye contact. Ordered a bacon roll and after a lengthly wait it arrived stone cold. I never yet have had anything nice or been served by anyone friendly so will never be back in. Customer service and all services in this cafe needs to be addressed urgently otherwise the place will loose everything. Disgracefull customer service especially from this woman.

Tesco has a great selection of food, drink, clothes, dvd's, books, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only flaws are: 1) the lack of bigger sizes in brassieres, and 2) I find it incredibly frustrating and vexing that Tesco continuously rearranges the food items in store, so when you're looking for things you need you can't find them - when this happens I generally just buy them from somewhere else.

The prepared sandwich I had was tasteless. Egg mayo had too much mayo so it tasted slimy. Not worth 2.50. Kids pack was the same price and was more than enough for my three year old. He got 5 items in it. Was hard carrying everything though without a tray. Don't think I'd rush back to eat here again.

I love this particular Tesco store as they always seem to have what i need in stock. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating in directing me in the location of items where I am unsure where they are.

This store is everything. And it has everything you need. Its open on most days until midnight. The best gadget is the "Scan as you shop" to help you stay within budget :)

I'm afraid I have to disagree strongly with some of the above points. The staff could not have been anymore helpful. I have a young son (3 years old) and as a single parent ordering food and getting him settled can be hard work. The...
