Tesco Cafe in Caerphilly

Lovely food here always hot and tasty. Good service from the staff .

Came this afternoon with my Mum and Grandad, Had a lovely meal, I had fish and chips and it was lush, the fish was so tender, the batter was really nice as well, nice chips and it all went down so well, i ordered 2 gravy's and i could tell it was bisto or something but it all went down really well, lovely sprite as well, would definitely recommend, 8/10 experience

Excellent service, great staff members, very friendly café, great food

Food was lovely but the staff were unprofessional, there was a manager shouting at 2 young boys for playing a game whilst waiting for their parents to order and pay and the the lady at the counter was moaning about how many cigarette breaks her manager had taken and about the incompetence of another team member.

Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered breakfast and poached eggs. After 40 mins asked a member of staff where food was. She brought out the food that I could see was under food light for 20 mins. Breakfast was cold and poached eggs were like rubber. Needless to say I asked for an immediate refund

Twice we went for Breakfast and fairplay the food was beautiful and the staff were lovely. Can't fault anything. Far better than Morrisons.

Service is slower than the boxing day sales queue but food is above standard for supermarket cafes when it eventually arrives. Cafe could do with a clean and new furniture but the service should be a priority.

went to tesco risca with family popped in cafe for breakfast . we all had brillant cooked breakfast asked to have bacon crispy done like I asked polite and friendly staff . would definitely go again

Service extremely slow, then when food arrived was missing 3 sets of sandwiches, girl said she hadn't been told about them, even though we asked for white bread as the children didn't like the seeded bread last time. When sandwiches arrived the adult one was exactly the same as the childrens. Also only buttered one side, a very poor experience.

Food was the standard quality you'd expect at Tesco cafe. However the service was incredibly slow- we waited over half an hour for our food.

Went for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. Coffees arrived no problem but waiting over 60 minutes for a breakfast?

Absolutely horrific, only now am i able to post. I went in November 2020. I ordered a nice sausage bap. I endes up with a egg yes egg sandwich.

Awful and upsetting experience when arrived with family for coffee and food. Not covid safe at all. No one available to seat you and have to queue as a group to get food/drink before then being seated. One member of staff serving, making drinks and seating people. Not safe. You can not sit on a table larger than 4 people so if you are a family with more than 2 children you have to sit on two different tables! Absolute shambles. Avoid.

Arrived with my daughter at lunchtime. Only wanteda coffee. Staff very polite.attentive.latte was very tasty and temperature was just right. Will return for a snack.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a coffee - WIFI available so could do some work. Coffee was decent, as was the sausage bloomer - these are cheap eats so quality not exceptional

Tesco's is an amazing company and I will only get my weekly shop from Tesco. However the Tesco Cafe in Risca is terrible. One of the worst cafes ever, the few times I have been they have always said hot food is off from 2pm which is early for a cafe. Other Tesco Cafe's are amazing but this is a shame.

If you need a breakfast while shopping then you won’t go wrong by coming here. Good value. Freshly cooked and brought to your table by friendly staff. Choice of fried bread or toast with it. Yummy

I ordered a breakfast at 10:20am, 45 minutes later still no sign of my breakfast so I asked a passing member of staff if she could check how long it was going to be, 10 -15 minutes later I was told “ sorry the till went down, what was it that you ordered?” So I asked “ if the till went down so you couldn’t see my order, why didn’t someone just come and ask me what I ordered, not wait an hour without saying anything!” The cafe wasn’t even that busy, there was another gentleman complaining also about how long his breakfast was taking. I didn’t have time to wait any longer, so had a refund and left hungry!!

Had a tidy breakfast here price was ok to and a lovely coffee latte to could get buizy here I expect during buizy shopping days but if your like us go when its quiet

It's a cafe!! Hot drinks, good food and great staff. What more do you need in a supermarket. We visit every time we are shopping and are never disappointed. If we didn't like it we wouldn't go back.

Went here a few weeks ago. The staff were friendly and the meal (In my case an all day breakfast) was good value.

Stopped here with 3 colleagues for lunch. Friendly service and staff present themselves well, fresh food and a clean café. Tables kept clear and no sticky / crumbs present like some Tesco cafes. Will visit again soon.
