Tesco Cafe in Dundee City

Definitely recommend. Arrived hot and very well packed. Great value for money.

Delicious food, friendly delivery driver. Only downside was that rather than give us the sugar sachets, they put the sugar in the coffees.

We live in this area so naturally shop here. Lovely organised store with very pleasant staff throughout. We are retired and therefore never in a hurry so tend to use the cafe fairly often. We have been greeted by members of staff including Sean, Amanda, Claire who have been more than accommodating and friendly. The food we have ordered including an all day breakfast, bagel, seasoned chips etc have always been very tasty and most of all served hot! The cafe’s staff themselves are clean and friendly although they’re generally run off their feet they attend to their customers exelently! I waited in a queue for 20 minutes to be served at the counter. I just wanted a bacon bap and a pot of tea for two. It was so busy although there were a few tables available. The table we chose had just been cleared but not cleaned as there was dried on sauce on it. The bacon rolls did come eventually and they were very tasty.

Outstanding as ever. The wooden forks and napkins were a nice touch on this occasion but not really necessary. Keep up the good work though. I will of course be ordering from you again in the future. :)

Brilliant breakfast. We really enjoyed ours once again. As always the fried eggs were cooked perfectly. I don’t know how they manage to stay slightly runny. Just the way I like them. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great service. Breakfast as always was absolutely delicious and Love the personal touch of a wee note on box telling us to enjoy our food which we always do!!! First class service with a personal touch!!!

The new Aberdeen Angus beef burger blew me out the water. My expectations were fairly high BUT it was out of this world. The fries were brilliantly seasoned and the service took under 20 minutes. Fantastic!

Items on roll were Luke warm at best, rest of order was cold had to reheat in oven. Tinned mushrooms used instead of usual fresh ones. Very disappointed as usual high standard not met & it's not cheap.

Very very poor, no bacon for the waffles but they did have bacon for bacon roll?? Another time asked for avocado toast which was on menu and got a very thin spread of guacamole with chilli. Other family member had blueberry pancakes as stated on the menu and was given a pancake with 5 blueberries on the side. Its terrible

As always, food was great. Feels like they actually care about the food sent out and although it is expensive it is a lovely treat to get the vegan breakfast.

Both coffees fell out the bag and all over the floor as it was ripped and wet when the driver handed it to us, because he forcefully pulled it out his delivery bag. Very unfortunate, what a waste, bad delivery

We stopped here for a bacon roll - the roll itself was exceptionally good, as was the bacon. Unfortunately the queue moves quite slowly - the coffee machine takes a lot of time. At £12.90 I consider it very good value.

Another lovely experience my server jade was very welcoming and always polite, I look forward to my next visit.

asked for a breakfast and didnt get my toast only got 1 sausage fried egg bacon beans hash browns tattie scone and the extra sausage i ask for but no 2 slices of toast that ment to get with breakfast

The food was excellent as always. I ordered a breakfast but it was missing a potato scone which is my favourite hence the 4 star's and not 5..

Got the festive yorkie wrap, was very nice n the we pot o gravy to really cute would deffo recommend to my friends n family, also got a we message on my box from the cafe team was really sweet thank u n merry Christmas to u all

Fantastic food all day breakfast was superb it definitely filled a gap. I can't recommend the cafe enough and reasonable prices too.

Excellent service and very punctual

Although a bit more expensive than other outlets for breakfast, it is well worth it. I had the waffles & it was simply divine and beautifully presented, felt like a real treat. Will definitely order again.

Requested refund because one smoothie was missing and the the beans on toast, the egg was very overdone and so was the ash brown so much that it was very hard. The sausages were undone. I have had some items missing prévio but this instance was very poor food quality and service

Requested a bacon bap with fried egg and instead just got a fried egg roll

Brilliant as always . I was even given some toast I didn't order with a little butter and my extra items were all there.

Bacon rolls were extremely tasty and the rolls were nice and soft with plenty butter. Toast was slightly cold and no butter thankfully I had some spare. Thanks 👍

The bacon was under cooked with no taste the egg was lik rubber and the coffee was stale

The roll was quite stale and the chai latte were far too rich the bacon was too overcooked and egg not runny enough could have done with more butter in the roll muffins were decent. Thank you

Love this place and love the service. Granted I live really nearby so it's hard for my food to arrive cold lol but it's great. Really well presented and packed neatly. Love that anything saucey is kept seperate in little tubs aswell. Only gripe I have really is the fried eggs could be a bit runnier. But that's preference. Thanks guys, love ya!

Everything arrived but there was no tea cake in the bag as i had to re order as nobody knows what happened to the previous order it stated there was no salad left or cheese so i got spinach instead and no tea cake though ☹️ The chai late was full of sugar But the tea was well made very enjoyed the wrap was quite dry and no salad or tea cake everything else came though thank you for the effort and coming back it was appreciated regardless the situation.

The breakfast was very good. It was a very clean breakfast, no grease running all over the place and the beans were served seperate which is the way i like it. Still a bit hungry but for the price, i guess it`s fair.

Great breakfast but no sausages which I'd paid £2 extra for. Requested a refund but the just eat app doesn't give me the option to pick out specific missing items. Requested a refund for another £2 item. I appreciate I'll probably get my money back but I would have much rather had my order. Disappointed.

Popped in for a pot of tea during a recent journey south. My partner ordered a pot of ordinary tea and a pot of Rooibos tea. The lady serving gave him one pot of tea and he had to ask again for the other and ask which was which. He ended up with 2 till receipts. We didn't have anything to eat so cannot rate the food. The cafe appeared clean.

Food was good & delivery was speedy, would definitely use again.

No coconut water, one missing tropicana, no hash brown, no mustard

45 mins in all to be served at the till then seated and served a breakfast if doing takeaways is too much take on more staff so customers aren't standing for 20 mins waiting to be served then another 25 before they receive their food....terrible.

One of the best breakfast rolls around and the coffee is amazing!! Always gutted being lactose intolerant because nowhere really does milk alternatives unless it's the big coffee chains and I get instant painful cramps from one sip of dairy, so to be able to have a great coffee with my brekkie for once was rather nice! Definitely be in to visit the actual cafe at some point!

For such a 'new' cafe, I was unimpressed. Nice bright and smart surroundings but The Tesco brand failed to ensure hand sanitizer was in the unit as you entered and I saw two people immediately turn around an leave when their efforts to coax even a teardrop of sanitizer out of the unit. A Scot who has just returned from many years domiciled in England,I was delighted to see Lorne Sausage as part of their breakfast offering so ordered it with gusto. Felt that I was slapped on my face when I received the response that "they had no Lorne" - WHAT A WELCOME. 9:30 on a Sunday morning and they had run out! Given that I was standing in a huge supermarket, was it impossible to visit the appropriate aisle and get some of the product? Seems that Tesco Cafe staff can't be enabled to do what is best for the customer or is this simply an example of an outsourcing contractor masquerading as Tesco's, I wonder? If the Brand Owner is unable to influence the culture of the contractor they use then clearly in my opinion, they are not really worth using for cafe or even for shopping. If a 3rd party is providing a 'seamless' service then they ARE the brand and should be able to do everything to ensure the customer gets what is advertised. Wonder how long it will be, before Aldi & Lidle start opening cafes and if they do - they will erode Tescos market share even further.

Lovely service from amazing staff, didn't know if you had to pay for got water or not and asked for the off chance for them to include a cup of it for my sore throat. Staff were lovely, included the hot water at no extra charge along with a nice note, thanks again!

Everything tasted ok but was cold. I had asked for crispy bacon but it wasn't and I really hate bacon fat unless it's crispy. I've had it crispy before so maybe it depends who's making it. I'll order again cos the service is good and so is food if done as requested and hot. Maybe wrapping stuff in tinfoil would help keep it hot.

Fresh cooked meals and snacks. Helpful cheerful efficient staff We are returning soon.

I ordered baked potato and got chips (kid's meal) - the second time this has happened in so many weeks. On neither occasion did they phone to ask if it was OK. Last time, they at least sent an apologetic note, but not this time. My son hates chips so he was bitterly disappointed. Why does this cafe think it's OK to send you whatever they like and not what you ordered? Last time I ever order from here.

Food was rubbish Cold and rubbery

Kind delivery driver the toast was nice but butter had gone warm by time I had opened it wrap wasn't that great but chips were good hot chocolate was good too. Lemon muffin was nice

Went for a bacon roll and a cappuccino today.Coffee was nice and good value but bacon roll was a bit bland and hardly any butter on the roll so was dry.

Food is great. No complaints about it. It was packaged well and arrived still hot. However, it has been impossible to order again because they have declined every subsequent order I've placed (yet payment is still taken and held for 24 hours!). If you don't have drivers available, don't present yourself on JustEat as being available. It's a simple fix and will save much frustration. I can't tell you how annoyed I am this morning after yet another 'unsuccessful' response post-ordering. Sort it out. Ta.

This was served up for just over 5 quid as macaroni cheese.

The food absolutely cooked to perfection, although it’s a delivery it was piping hot and fresh as if I was sat in a cafe eating it so . Quantity more than enough and very good value for money . By far my favourite breakfast go to !

Food poor quality. Kids chicken Goujons tasted like fish fingers!? Maybe oil not changed. Breakfast items mediocre at best. Won't order from here again tbh.

The food quality was poor. The only thing cooked correctly was the toast and coffee. Everything else just tasted bad. Not worth £20 in fact I would have sent it back at £5. I don’t often complain or review, but I felt I had to this time.

Best breakfast I have had delivered in Dundee, the quality of products were good and came in a nice box with the beans separate food also hot. I will definitely be ordering again

The only Vision Express branch I could book for my annual eye test was at the wrong end of town - Tesco, South Road, Dundee. With some time to spare after the test, I opted for a meal at Tesco's café. This was around 1.30pm and the place was almost deserted. Cod and chips looked good, so this, along with a bottle of Blackford water (75p for 500 ml - criminal!) the meal soon arrived. Here were chips that really WERE chips, tender garden peas, a big melt-in-the-mouth fish in a great tasting crispy batter, all piping hot and which settled the 'inner man' with aplomb! Well worth the price. Attentive staff, too, so worth a repeat visit some time in the future.

Quick service, very nice hot chocolate, but food was bery dry and/or soggy, we paid for two nearly the same breakfast 2 different prices.

Standard cafe in Tesco. Food is okay, just your normal meals, nothing too special. Staff are lovely, very friendly.

Tesco cafe is great they know what we want a cappuccino and a latte the lads and lassies are great you get a good conversation with them.

Sausage dry has been sitting for ages beans dry, mushroom okay , eggs fresh not happy , friend had fish and mash fish was very oily and crispy

Found the staff to be very helpful however at time of visiting sausages were over cooked and tough possibly from being in warmer too long. Everything else was fine.

They do a lovely breakfast nd reasonably priced

Great coffees at reasonable price, fine for a quick bit. Staff will make you something in particular if you request and they are always pleasant and attentive. Might only be a Tesco Cafe but having been on dozen of occasions service always the same. Some other Cafes and Coffee houses could learn a thing or two here.

Food was horrible most was hard like concrette so wouldnt recormend it to any one instead id say go somwear else .
